I use Red Fortunes instead of Luck's.... They are much cheaper and you get a ranged defense bonus along with more recharge. I also put my Steadfast into True Grit, but that is just me. Looks good and mean.

Nope you don't. I have a Shield Tank and I think I may have spent 150 Mill to get her to the 50% Melee 50% ranged 48% AoE mark.

I didn't count, but I have no purples at all. A few Touch of Deaths and an Oblit for Melee, a Mako and Red Fortunes for Ranged, and a few Sciroco's Dervish for AoE.

Like I said I had a huge post about how I had my Fire/Rad set up but it was eaten by the Internet monster. Pogothulu asked me to post again though so here goes!

I play my fire/Rad more than any other toon. She is a blast and can pretty much go up against anything in the game, and laugh at it while it chokes and fries. I'm at work so this is off the top of my head, but anyone that has questions please give me a yell.

My build has some purples in it. Most of them were bought from Wentworths (when they were cheaper... THANK YOU GOD!!!!), but compared to some builds it's cheap.

Using frankensloting you cna get over some of the end issues with Fire/Rad, and still get great set bonuses byusing the other four slots.

Oh and I like Procs... I like Procs alot. They can turn Meh powers into HOLY MOLY! powers in some cases. So here we go.

Char: I love Char and so I six slotted it. This is one of my frakenslotted powers and it does turn out to be fairly Monsterous. I have it slotted Unbreakable Constraint Acc/Rec, UBC Chance for Smashing, Ghost Widow's Acc/Recharge, Neurotic Shut Down Acc/recharge, and NSD Chance for Psi. It seems like it procs alot to, but that could be because i'm firing it off left and right in my attack chain.

Healing Aura I think I only have 2 slotted with a Miracle heal and a Heal/Recharge. Gives a recovery bonus so yippie. I can see the Doctored Wounds slotting for the nice recharge bonus, but i'd only 5 slot it instead of six slotted. I needed the slots elsewhere though.

AM six slotted with Efficiancy Adaptors for nice bonuses, especially the recharge.

Rad Infection: I slotted with 4 Dark Watcher's for the set bonuses. Health, recovery and recharge!!! I loves it!

Fire Cages: I have it slotted exactly the same. I love the Chance for hold in Grav Anchor.

Ok here is the first major change i'm going to recommend for your build.... You do not need to dip into three power pools! Your lvl 50 if you want to fly go to Firebase Zulu and by a jetpack. I recommend Hasten+Superspeed personally. Hasten gets everything up faster and is super nice with AM. You can handle the KB. most things are stunned or held when you start an attack run so getting KBed once in awhile is no biggie. the Imps will suck aggro and things will still be trying to stop gagging or fleeing from your burnie feet so not that many attacks inbound anyway.

Health: I'd say Miracle+recovery is nice, and so is Numina's regn+recovery. Sell your Regn Tissue for more buck on Double xp weekend. It's nice to heal faster, but thats what Radiant Aura is for. Just spam it and you'll heal really fast when your hurt.

Stamina: Four slotted Performance Shifters. End Mod, End Mod/End, End Mod/Rech, and Chance for +End.
Flashfire: This power is your friend... you want to put Absolute Amazement in your friend....your friend is up nearly every mob and wants you to use it alot. 5 slots is fine for the bonses. If you 6 slot throw in a Acc/recharge from Stupify or something. I haven't looked at the numbers but I do fine with mine 5 slotted with one of those being the To Hit Debuff Proc.

Lingering Radiation: I slot it with two tempered Readiness. You get a recovery bonus which is always nice for an end hog like fire/rad. It recharges fairly fast with all the global recharge bonuses so you don't have to go crazy slotting it besides for acc/slow.

Cinders: I only use this usually when my fire monkies have wandered off, along with the blaster/scrapper... Oh you know who i'm talking about the guy that wanders off and pisses off everything on the map. Still I like it it's handy and you can 4 slot it with Baslisk's Gaze and get a super nice recovery and recharge bonus (it's 7.5% ).

Hotfeet: Oh how I love my lil Hot feet!!! This is another of my frankenslotted monsters. I six slot it and use 4 Scirocco's Dervish (dam/end, acc/dam/end, acc/dam, and Chance for Lethal) and two procs. Impeded Swiftness Chance for Smashing, and Armagedon chance for fire. I may pull the Impeded Swiftness Proc out for a Armagedon dam/End if I run across one, but I do well with this slotting. You can also put in a Eradication or on Obliteration Proc for the Impeded since they are getting rather rare now for some reason.

Chocking Cloud: Once again this is another frankenslotted proc Monster. I have Ghost widow's Chance for Psi, GW End/Hold, Neurotic Shutdown Chance for Psi, NSD End/Hold, Lockdown End/Hold, and last and by no means least Lockdown: chance for +2 Mag. I used to wonder why people liked this slotted in Choking Cloud so I tried it... and the glowing Hampster Balls of goodness appeared!!! this thing keeps me safe in mobs with multiple bosses. It'll hold em one pulse instead of two, and remember you get the accuracy bonuses from your set bonuses in Choking Cloud so it'll hit!

Fire Imps: I have Soulbound Alligence slotted in here. I used 4 slots of it along with two Blood Mandates for some recovery. I can also see going with Expedient Reinforcements 4 slotted for the nice recharge bonus, but I like Soulbound fine now that they have fixed it.

Now I don't see EMP Pulse on your build..... thats not good... It's a super OH SHEEEEEEEEET power solo and a "i'm going to use this everytime it's up!!!" power on a team. It's one of the best holds in the game and 40+ game you run into alot of robots... SO TAKE THAT FAKE NEMIE!!!! Four slot it with Basilisks Gaze. Love the bonuses! LOVE THEM!!!

I also have the Fire Epic. I took Decimation in Fire Blast5 slotted and added a Devastation Chance for Hold. It fires quick so it helps hold bosses that Char+Chocking Cloud+ Fire Cages+Cinders+EMP miss.... which doesn't happen much but hey you can never be to careful or stack to many holds (and before you yell at me that Fire Cages isn't a hold LOOK AT MY POST!!!! I HAVE A GRAV ANCHOR CHANCE FOR HOLD SLOTTED!!!!)

Fire Ball is fine with 5 slots of Positron's Blast, but if you can afford it go with Ragnork's 5 slotted.... it might be funny watching things fall down when they get fireballed... oh wait they usually do fall down when the fireball hits hehehe cause they are arrested hahaha... ok it wasn't that funny...

Fire Shield: ...... I have it...... I hardly ever turn it on..... I'll probably get rid of it next respec and get..... something.

Consume: I like me some consume. I'd add a slot from somewhere to get the nice set bonuses from Efficancy Adaptor.

I think you want to help your team is why you took Recall friend and Mutation right? Well making things gag and burn is helping your team to right? So let the Empath rez people and tp em!!! (throwing all my love out there to my Empath brothers and sister!!! I have an Empath to, but I don't tp or have Rez because I won't let ya die unless your dumb). My team contributions comes from the Leadership Pool!!! I have Assault and Tactics.... and before you yell "YOUR NUTS!!!" I can handle the end. I slotted for End recovery pretty well and it takes a really prolonged battle to have me sucking gas.

There ya go thats pretty much what I use on my gal. So now it's for you guys to decide for yourselves. Yell!!! Scream!!! Murder!!! Whatever it works for me and I was the first to respond lol!

For farming I recommend a fire/Kin and a Fire/Rad! Speed and safety lol. I have both and I like my fire/rad more for solo farming. You never have to leave mission to go to the hospital lol!

It can work. Melee works better in my experience for wall farming though.

I tear it up on my AR/EM blaster.. Most of the brutes/tanks/scrappers have trouble keeping pace. The only things limiting my speed are the recharge of Build-Up and the animation time of Full-Auto & Flamethrower.

But thats the kind of thing Twixt would do to grieve people. he annoyed people rather there were villians in the zone or we were by ourselves, so I guess hero farmers (and I did PvP regularly also) were acceptable targets to annoy as well. You could argue that continually capitalizing on easy kills where there were more substantial targets as threats to a zone win was wrong as well, even though they are all valid targets.

Shield/Mace has 4 PBAoE attacks thats why. I herd at least two groups of Romans together, kill the Surgeons while I get AAO nicely full, and then hit BU+Shield Charge which equals mostly dead Minions, then Crowd Control, and lastly Shatter and by then usually everything is down, with the exception of a LT that was missed by Shield Charge or a boss so I maaaay have to use Whirling Mace and maybe go single target to finish off the boss. Then I repeat the process up and down the wall, and it only goes faster with my friends SS/Fire.

if you do team on the Wall only have one teammate because you can really increase your kill rate, and besides if it's busy (which it can be at times ) thats one less person stealing your mobs. A shield/Mace tank and SS/Fire Brute can really lawnmow the pretty little rows of Romans hehe.

I know for a fact he made it his personal mission to try and run people from the zone. I was a hero that did the same thing as Doll, and Twixt would pull Arachnos to me to try and get me killed and debt. Is that a way to play the game how it was designed to be played? Is it a way to win the zone? Nope not in the least bit. It was a way for him to try and enforce his way of playing on others (but I still find it amushing that I caught him farming it up more than a few times... the hypocrite), or as a way of being just plain mean.

I've been trying the wall lately and have had no luck what so ever. It's very frustrating, and a friend has been doing it with me and seperately and he reports no purples at all either, BUT I have gotten a few purples from the Shard in the past, but I suggest only going after the Brute Squad because the Wisps and the Elementals are mean... Seriously they took my lunch money.... and called me bad names...

yeah I never get KB when I have mine on that I can think of... Damned altism.. I'm pretty sure that I hunt witches on my DB/SR scrapper and aren't blown all over.

Meh there are alot of places my niche could be in and besides if the Ebil powers whish to flood the market to try and blow my niche.... thats fine i'm patient, and if they want to bid creep and see how Ebil i'm trying to be in that range then one of my 2 that instant filled will be gone and if they want to list some to try and low ball me I have bid orders still out trying to get the few others that were out there or anyothers that were listed lower range than my mark up, but like I said i'm patient niches bounce back when people get tired or run out.
