  1. Ewwwww. Not good news, man.

*makes a note to examine bank account come the 20th*
  2. If I wasn't saving the charges on my pet temp powers, I'd be happy to throw something up.

perhaps ParagonWiki has a "Pets" category? for both temp powers and pets summoned via powersets?
  3. I may have to kick him some bread, if that's the kind of work he does.

    Yum.
  4. Damnit.

I loves the comic strip so very much...

but Projectionist's painting is soo full of awesome.

Sorry Aerones. It's a REALLY tough call, but Proj got this one.
  5. Keep in mind that using such software to accomplish said task may be in violation of the EULA...
  6. ... yeah but can you turn him into a semi?

    Happy birthday, scarfie!

I always liked the backstory of Dragonberry so here's a WIP (SFW) of her since I didn't bring any cake.

    What is good?

This is a perfect example of what happens when someone takes their worldview and distills it to the bare fundamentals.

Cromwell would make a most excellent hero as well as a most terrifying villain... because he fully intends to save the world, even if it means he must destroy it in the process.
  13. Oh I know, that's what was commissioned. And for that concept, it worked out great.

For THIS concept, I'm not sure if it would.
  14. Well considering this is a Japanese bathhouse type scene, it could be communal, or private. I'm thinking Turbo's going for private (which is what makes Kite's 'gate-crashing' so shocking).

And yes.. the fingers in the bikini = hawt.

As for cameos... PyroMindi's got a distinctive body shape, hairstyle, and coloring, as does many other characters. So 'hinting' them in the background, or muted by glass, is perfectly cool.

One thing I liked about Graver's "After Hours" was the sheer number of people he crammed in... but at the same time, it kind of detracted from the piece. If you're wanting to focus on the three characters... then don't fill the background with details that'll pull the mind (if not the eye) away from them.
  15. Depends.

Does he shoot the cook if the puerco pibil tastes really good?

"Are you and Arachnican? or an Arachnican't?"
  16. Player Event Resource Council

aka a bunch of volunteers that (under the auspices of Ex Libris I believe) put together various events and activities to keep us all amused.
  17. Welll at the very least you'll not lose on the "wet skin" look with Reiq working on it...

but yah, he tends to over-endow his females.

Not that this is bad, I'd love to see his take on Soul, who's designed as 'zaftig'.... but not sure your ladies would need that.
  18. As long as it's sold as a per event volunteer thing, and the concerns of each artist (queue length, real world issues, etc) are kept in consideration...

"Exposure" really isn't that big of a motivator, as a lot of the artists here get LOTS of it (cos we art connoisseurs tend to advertise for them when we get new stuff).

Also, as contests go, 'free' art tends to take a back seat to 'paid' art - witness Jomaro's queue for the contest he put on well over a year ago. Of course, he's one of the art gods... so a long queue is expected. So P.E.R.C. would have to make it understood that a contest winner MIGHT (!) be waiting a while for their prize, if the artist has a lot of paying gigs come up.

Personally? I'd recommend passing the hat for art commission DONATIONS. That way those of us with money burning holes in our pockets can chip in for a commission for the winner (and depending on how much the kitty/prize is, they can select the artist they like for the artwork.)
  19. guildportal email isn't like POP email, guys. It's more like a message board private message.

About the only way I can think of is to share the photo on photobucket, and then put the url to the IMAGE (not the image page) inside an image tag within Guildportal's editor. Check out the toolbar when composing a message, I'm sure there's something for inserting an offsite image.

    CoH Calender

    .... wait... she's covered....

heyyy... what kind of school is this anyhow?
  21. Or one could use GIMP (free, and full-featured) or Jasc Paint Shop Pro (not free but I believe cheaper than PS)
