  1. Right, I've been exploring both US and EU boards but I can't find the thing I want: A good all round PB Tri-Form IO Build.

    I want to be able to solo in all forms (which is why I think I might need the IO Set Bonuses to do so) It can be a build that is purely Basic IO, or Purely IO Set or a mixture of both, but all I want is a stable, all round PB.

  2. I personally wouldn't 2 slot it, but I can see the merit of having hover as a soft KB control kinda option.

    If you are going to hover around a map all the time to justify taking the power (fair doo's) then of your options up there i'd choose 1.. Shadow Punch, hover and Fly.

    Air sup, while nice could be filled by a better power, and Recall friend, while nice doesn't actually do any damage and remember you're a Scrapper

    So personally I'd go for no. 1, but that might just be me. Hope that helps!
  3. I've been playing around with the Basic IO's, and the Acc/dam IO's found that you can get more acc and dam with 1 separate acc/dam set IO's thatn teh basic IO's that are separate Dmg and Acc IO's... if you follow me.

    So, am I currently getting the MOST out of the build that I can? Am I getting the maximum damage for example with the IO's that are available?

  5. I was thinking OG.. and just put a IO DisDur in there somewhere. How end heavy is OG??? I wouldn't have any issues with it would i?

    Also, with the build I've listed, why won't 2 of the set bonus', adding up to 5% more recovery... why dont they apply - is my endurance recovery capped or something?

    Also... when to respec? Now or when I've got the cash?
  6. Ok guys, judgement call - lvl 49 power at the moment is Soul Transfer - the portable Wakey with disorient and imperviousness for a bit to boot.

    Sounds good, and handy, but should it be my last power. Or should I have Dark Consumption or Op Gloom in there.

    Thats the only place I would have either in this build, so which do you deem more worthy:

    Soul Transfer - portable wakey goodness - but is it really worth it, or will it confine me to the "OH he's rubbish he has a self-rez" group of scrappers?
    Dark Consumption - end issues no more - but worth it in a build that has 121 end and already capped end recovery?
    Oppressive Gloom - foe disorient - but worth it when i can already take a lot of damage anyway...and am doing more damage too.

    Also, Do I respec now and slowly enhance as I can afford, or do I save the money then enhance?

  8. If i slot the shields differently won't I lose s0ome defense and resistance though?

    Plus with 187% +recovery, would I really have endurance issues?
  9. So you think I should take it for lvl 49? Add a DisDur to it?
  10. Don't need Cloak of Fear because have Touch of Fear which can Fear AV's and with the To-hit debuff the more it is applies the less they hit etc.

    Oppressive gloom, is a nice little disorient power and I love it, perhaps worth slotting in the lvl 49 power instead of Soul Transfer.

    However I have Tough and with the other toggles im getting 7.6% defense all round along with 15.1% defense to psionics.

    And 58.7% resistance to Psionics, 53.8% resistance to Smash/Lethal, 38.1% resistance to Fire and Cold, 23.5% resistance to energy and toxic and 56.3% resistance to Negative.

    So although damage mitigation is nice, with the amount of defense / resistance im talking do I really need it? Bedises with SS there's the +stealth aspect, as well as the Touch of Fear I can put on a particularly annoying enemy.

    I'm quite happy with it and I have to save up some inf anyway - not quite sure about Soul Transfer at lvl 49, but with 187% recovery I am not sure that I'd need it

  14. My DM/DA Scrapper, Rike has been around since about Issue 3, and as such I think its time I update him to be end-friendly as possible, and kitted with Invention Sets - to make him multi-purpose and generally uber

    However, I dont really have the time to sit down and have an in-depth look at all sets i could choose and all that, so I was wondering if someone would help me out by posting a good Old School build.

    Currently I have: Smite, Shadow Maul, Siphon Life, Dark Regeneration, Dark Consumption, All Shields, Super Jump, Combat Jumping, Acrobatics, Fitness (swift, health stamina), Cloak of Darkness, Oppressive Gloom, Midnight Grasp, Death Shroud, Soul Transfer and Conserve Energy, Focus accuracy.

    I think thats all..

    Anyway, If i can get Karma: Knockback protection on a power, maybe Combat Jumping, what Travel Power do ppl recommend?

    Can I also request any builds posted to have all the improvements (set bonuses) listed so I can see where I gain and can play around with the build a bit. Also would like a rough estimate at how much inf I will need to actually get the IO's

    I'm liking it so far, I've gotten to lvl 15 and it's great. I just need to wait til around lvl 20 and then Respec with my Vet rewards, then i'll stick more or less to a modified version of this build.

    Now just have to go and learn how to not agro everything that moves.

    Wasn't there a successful U.S. Method? Did that involve a lot of dieing? I know there have been some sg attempts but im talkin about 50 peeps pre-i9 style... multiple sg style if you see what i mean.
