Aero's Amazing Colouring Competition!!

Original colours or new? If ya want original PM me a screenie 
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
If you happen to pick the colours I already have I'd be surprised, but at the moment, he is all-over Black, with Ice-Blue coloured flames.
In case you want to tie in a theme with his powers, he is an Ice/Ice/Force Blaster with Flight powers.
Would cleaning/adding line work to the original be acceptable? I'm not suggesting changing details per se, more just adding thickness and weight to some of it.
Would you want any background detail or not?
Modifications to the original are fine (and even encouraged) including adding backgrounds, but the original must be used (i.e. you can't use the character design to create an entirely new sketch. This is so that everyone starts on a level playing field for judging).

I decided to have a go, going with the Ice theme I went for blues, that yet contrast rather well.

I was even kind enough to resize it for your puny 15" monitor screen!
Well your little compo intrigued me so I took your lineart and made a colouring. I am likely to change this as time goes on, but in the meantime here we are.

Just a random question, do I have to add colour via a digital photographic programme or can I just paint Just wondered because there was no mention to whether you could use mediums other than based on the computer such as paint, pencils etc
Nope, any medium is actively encouraged!

well as it's my first post I suppose I better introduce myself... u can call me piros seeing as it's my global name... seen this competition and it looked like fun so I thought I'd give it a go... now in my defense I've never done colouring on photoshop before (tho I'm quite experienced at other aspects of it)... anyway enough of me ranting... here's my entry

Hehe - thanks! Next step: sending it to the film studios for consideration as an "extra" in the movie, along with my showreel for consideration for writing the score!!
Welcome! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to colour/render Andrew Wildman's fantastic sketch of Aero to celebrate his reaching security level 50.

Your tools and methods are unlimited, although you must use the provided image rather than creating a new sketch.
This means that your submissions won't be eligible for the Creative Genius Award, but there are nevertheless, rewards for your efforts!
They are:
1. The prestige of knowing that Aero is out there, saving the day wearing your design. (
2. A free 2 months game time card
3. In-game rewards (recipes/salvage/inf - which? - it's a surprise!)
Entries can be submitted here or sent to me directly (you can obtain my email via PM). Closing date is June 30th 2007 with the winner being announced in time for the Brighton meet on July 6th/7th.
