Let them try to get people to join AOW with their super cash prizes...nobody with a brain would join any sg led by felecia divine. If you alienate yourself from champion I can only hope it will trigger the begining of the end of AOW.
Actually I take that back, we need all the drama we can get. Its kinda fun. -
Quote:All this freedom pvp movement left the other servers HIGH AND DRY in pvp department. All your posting about the numbers in RV on Freedom prove one thing and one thing only.Freedom has a pvp population in RV. Its still about the same as pre13. In addition, ALOT of people transferred to Freedom specifically to pvp. Ironically, the server transfer fee will fund the development of new booster packs and costume pieces for pve'ers. Har!! Har!!! The laughs on us!!!
I'd like you to go do a pvp numbers poll on all the other servers and then compare it to whats on Freedom. That might give you a better idea of how many players actually pvp post changes in the game ,WarHamster.
Small servers need a bailout! Send us pvp'rs! -
Quote:Or you can just dodge them..since they're..umm...masterminds.Yea MMs can easily get perma taunt. It's the cheapest thing i've ever seen because it's about impossible to kill an MM by attacking them head on, unless ur dark and use soul drain or use a bunch of AoEs, but in PvP, single targets are better. I hate fighting MMs because my PvE toons would dominate them and lose to everything else and my pvp toons would be fine against everything else but lose or tie with the MM.
I know of 3 thug/pains MMs with taunt, because i can't kill the pets or even touch them, i just sit there until death since the MM can heal faster then i can damage. Or if i use Geas and Hasten together and use a DPS chain, they started kiting around.
Cheapest thing i've ever seen. -
Why does everyone say mercs suck...I picked them thinking their snipes will actually be useful? Guess I was wrong.
Back on subject...
FIX PLACATE PROC! -
Quote:again.... Please research what you say and actually look at the numbers.
PB are not blasters 5x in Zones. If they were than there would be tons of PB in the zone. Basically take what I said above to Darkmaster and repeat it here.
Again.... Think before you speak and actually do research, You have nothing supporting this argument and nothing constructive. Also respond less childish please, your age is showing.
I'm done here. Only a few of you actually read the original post, had the research done, and intelligently backed up any statement regarding. I thank you, and did not have to quote you.
The reason you don't see peacebringers in the zone all the time is because peacebringers take ALOT more SKILL. With blasters you do 3 things. Attack, Run, or Phase.
With peacebringers there are ALOT more options to play, alot harder to make a good build, and alot harder to manage your toon. Yes, peacebringers are good. You don't see swarms of them because half the freedom chumps couldn't play a PB well. Sorry if you think I'm childish...I just call them like I see them.
Buffing/nerfing is not going to do much to the state of pvp, as you can see by MANY changes (melee toons' ranged damage scale, the VEAT nerf, etc.), all this kind of stuff does is create NEW FOTM's, which is certainly not what we want. The problem with pvp is not really OP'd archetypes at the moment, its the entire system as a whole. Read: Travel suppression. -
As i said in my other post...
Nobody would join your sg even IF they won 8billion influence...lets see...
Oh yea I said something about...all the good sg's on this server could beat your sg at that mission...just because you INVITED all the "major sg's" doesn't mean they actually CAME to the event, because what a waste of time.
Anyways...quit trolling and go solo some level 54 AVs on your dark/dark. -
I can bet there will be some 'oh so annoying' thermal Masterminds roaming the zones...
-
Seriously? Peacebringers are BLASTERS TIMES 5 in zones. Hard hitting attacks with SUPERB enhancable range, not including the +dam and +tohit from nova. Oh, and reconstructoin and dull pain clone certainly help, not to mention the phase. Did I mention Peacebringers are awesome? Oh yea, they are.
Warshades are like peacebringers without the heal, but at least they still do good damage.
Stalkers are SO easy to avoid its ridiculous. The problem comes in when you want to attack that dominater/corrupter/whatever and the stalker AS's you. You have to time your attacks so you are only on the ground for 1 second or less, aka attack in the air. Oh and if a stalker does AS you, just hibernate or use hoarfrost...pop a green or something? Seriously stalkers are such a small threat compared to the knockbacking dominaters and sappers etc.
I don't know what you are thinking but this list does almost nothing to fix pvp.. -
Quote:Ahahaha Felecia nobody would join your sg even if they DID get 800 million! We ran a test run with all major sg's invited. The results showed there is only one decent sg.
All events are now for ALL-OUT-WAR members ONLY!
Devs, when you see this message erase all threads with AOW in the title please.
And how many SG's were actually there? Honestly? Saying you "invited" all major sg's means nothing because most of them wouldn't want to come! i can think of 20 sg's that could beat that mission faster than you in 10 seconds, even though YOU are the one who made it! -
I never posted back on this, but I just did the malware full scan, MSconfugratoin thing and got alot of programs NOT running. I am running with everything on High (world, character, particles), have particle bar all the way up, character bar all the way up, and world bar almost all the way up...and NO LAG! I can't wait to do rikti raids without this lag...hopefully I will be able to load into RV!
Thanks abunch to everyone who helped, and I suggest EVERYONE do this if you have any lag issues, it has made this game look like new again!
Thanks again everyone -
Solid 1v1 toon / fiteklubber?
I really am not sure what I should grab for my 49th power, but I can move around slots if the power you guys suggest is slot intensive. Any suggestions?

Yea I can't decide between MORE recovery and another perf shifter proc, or having webnade. I guess since I will mostly be fiteklubbin and arena dueling on this toon I don't really NEED webnade that much?
-
The lag in this thing seems just as bad when it first came out. Even people with top end computers crash in "lag valley" and even throughout the rest of the task force. I understand there are alot of enemies on the maps, but lag valley lag is just ridiculous. Is this ever going to be fixed? Is part of the new MoITF going to be Master of Not DC'ing?
I'm curious as to if it has been looked at or figured out. -
Oh I'm not done with this post yet >.>
Yes I am going BS/Regen since parry will help me when I want to solo AV's.
On said regen should I do Lazer Eyes, FA, and Physical perfection? Or Webnade, targetting drone, and shuriken? Also do i need taunt if I have webnade?
Also since parry recharges in 3 seconds and does 103 damage I was going to slot it and use it in attack chain of headsplitter disembowel parry hack parry repeat? It does almost as much as slash so I figured why not. -
weird color ice buffs and thermal buffs and FF buffs are really annoying. I wish we could turn buff graphics to normal color client side at least.
-
I think this is a secret post to start a rep farming thread...I bet there is one in one of the weird forum sections
-
Going BS regen. I imagine Parry Slash Parry Slash is a solid attack chain outside of Disembowel/headsplitter? And parry's defense is still useful since /regen has none to begin with (not much to be DR'd?)

Mine is all grey I need to get more attention
edit: Oh hey its green....woohoo?
edit: Elf I made your ruby go away now you're gray happy? -
I would want us to switch to infinity or guardian aka a small server...cause champion server has gotten alot of lag lately.

Alright I really want to do this /duel thing... but everyone says "do not force pvp on pve'rs" but if there is an option to turn OFF the dueling flag...why can't we have it and the pve'rs still be happy if they can turn off duel requests? It'd be awesome, and everyone would be happy.
Just do it.
(I know I spelled "duel wrong in the title....for those nitpickers" -
Quote:A draw is a draw. If you can't kill him, then you didn't beat him. If you're build isn't maneuverable to chase him, thats a negative of YOUR build, and you can't say "I won because you kept running" that's like the scrapper saying "I won because you wouldn't come out of BG mode". Part of fighting a MM is NOT standing still to let them pound on you, but managing the pets and debuffs laid on you.Our definitions of a win are different then. If a regen is running and phasing from me for more than half a match I consider that a victory (for myself), despite the end score.
Lets just agree that if a competent Regen VS's a Competent Poison MM occurs the match no longer involves PvP, but a game of high-stakes marco/polo with the Poison MM as "it."
P.s. Who the hell took my red wing?!
