  1. Other things broke since I tested them, so this might have as well. Or you are at the max charges.

    So, using Blonde's list:

    Day Jobs
Monitor Duty - Go to Pocket D via V.I.P. Teleporter or Studio 55 entrance, and log near the Base Portal

    Accolades
    Rapid Responce Member/Trouble Maker - Patroller/Criminal + Monitor Duty
I've never gotten the Pocket D Base Portal to work. It may temporarily show the icon, but only Clubber actually earns credit.

In all my years as a comic reader, I never ones saw a base shared by both the good guys and the bad guys. Yes, I've seen bases taken over by one or the other, but not shared.
I tried to make the same arguments in the last few weeks of beta (after the Loyalty program was let in. It seem that large amounts of players want CoH to stand for City of Homogeneous rather than City of Heroes. They want all the benefits of a single base no matter which side of the fence they are on because their villains are "heroes in disguise".

Or by making a travel hub zone like a special Ouroborus zone without touching bases at all. This would also open up the opportunity for the developers to make some content explaining why this new zone is in existence.

I still think this is an appropriate penalty for being "neutral". This could be offset by the travel hub zone above. You can still use transporters/bases on your "native" side.

And I'm firmly against shared bases as they are, with a few exceptions, not found in the source genre. Even those exceptions are rare and very limited in nature, spanning a story arc or two. Often they are one-shots.

I'm afraid the horse has already left the barn when it come to archtypes and being either a good or bad guy. That was the point of GR. A person's powerset does not (any longer) determine if a person is a hero or a villain (past level 20). All powersets, however, should be balanced in their make up.
    This I agree with.
  4. You should be able to earn charges at Wentworths. This was one of the things I tested. You might have to spend several hours for a Day Trader charge after becoming a hero. I do know that you can have both the BM and WW teleporters on a character.

So it has been changed to be flagged villain only. This is likely an error that crept in after I tested it on Beta.
  6. The Praetorian Seers are in the Asylum in the A Hero's Epic (the new arc from Maria Jenkins). The Resistance in Maria's arc do not count for the badge.

Both old & new versions of Tina's and Maria's arcs are in the Flashback system.

Nope, there is nothing more difficult (except repeatedly slugging through the same missions) about switching sides multiple times.
  8. At any rate the answer is that, yes it would reset the rogue meter. Also the first villain morality you do gets you 50 regular merits, the second (and later) gets the hero/villain merit.
  9. I sometimes get the freezes described, and my PC only has a dual core...

Unless you forced him to spawn, there was a chance that you didn't do 100% of the damage. Just like the Croatoa GMs or even the Kraken if someone did damage and the GM heals that raises the damage needed to get the badge.

    Made up numbers:
GM max HP: 1000 group needs: 100 point of damage for the badge.
If GM heals over time for 11,000 hps, then even if the team does 1,000 hit points they will not get the badge.

At any rate it was working in June on beta for vigilantes. So something broke since then. It happens.
  11. Aaron Walker's arc has plenty of Failed Experiments, but I couldn't find them outside missions. Seers are all over the place, but you'll find some in the undergrounds. Also the Asylum mission with Maria Jenkin's new arc has seers in them so you don't have to get them in Praetoria.

Both resistance and loyalists get the choice to go to the Rogue Isles or Paragon City.

You can stay if you want to get the Praetoria-only badges, or if you want to play it like that, but there's no other reason to.
Note that only the Praetorian defeat (and not all of them), explore badges, explore accolades, denial of service, and the 2 history badges are limited. Praetorian achievement badges are earned even outside of Praetoria for Praetorian characters.

No, you have a very clear warning about fully leaving Praetoria.
  15. There isn't a costume slot mission in Praetoria. You have to do it after you leave.

Actually, I forgot to add Pain Killer.

I was also at 772 badges before GR.

Yes, non-sideswitchers can get 784, but the player needs Bug Hunter or Passport and all the Vet Badges. Apparently I have to wait a week for GR.

    Edit:
I forgot to add in Pain Killer.
  18. If it helps any, that Alignment Countdown timer faded for players in 7 real days for beta in the last couple weeks. I can't give you personal info on this as my copy of GR is apparently delayed due to distributor error.

Actually I think I found its use. Paragon Studio's distributor to Canada activated each copy's Shadowy Presence power -- on the box. Now 4 days after launch there are still no visible Going Rogue boxes this side of the Canada-USA border. This means that the aggro that players are expressing is going towards Paragon Studios instead of the retailer.
  20. At this point you can't. At this point groups and bases are either hero (which includes vigilantes) or villain (which includes rogues).

You cannot access a villain base as a hero or vigilante. You cannot access a hero base as a villain or rogue.

The only explanations we've gotten are that bases are not going to be made cross faction because it would break things. At a later time they are going to look at it, but until that time I wouldn't expect hero bases to have teleporters to villain zones (or the reverse).

  22. The countdown power (it should be under your status bars with all the other power icons) should be separate from the time displayed in the alignment tab.
