Alignment Count Down Badges

Ok, whats the deal, on the first day GR went live I solidified my Hero main and remained a Hero. I got the countdown buff and now I'm waiting for the 7 days to lapse.

Do you have to be logged in to get credit for this count down? because after I got the badges I could get I wrote my time down which was

Time Played as Current Alignment:2 DaysPlural, 12:05:01

and when I log in 4 days later my timer now shows...

Time Played as Current Alignment:2 DaysPlural, 12:09:35

It hasn't changed at all over the 4 days I was logged off my main. I really hope you don't have to be logged in for this but it seems like you do.

The countdown power (it should be under your status bars with all the other power icons) should be separate from the time displayed in the alignment tab.

Well there is no timer on that buff icon at all, so there is no way to tell the time. So I assumed that tab in your personal information window is that timer.

If it is the timer, than that timer only keeps track when you are logged in and not when offline.

If it helps any, that Alignment Countdown timer faded for players in 7 real days for beta in the last couple weeks. I can't give you personal info on this as my copy of GR is apparently delayed due to distributor error.

Ok, well I will keep an eye on it. Its been 3 days since I solidified my heroic alignment, so we will see when it gets down to 1-2 days left.

Hi Guys,

if you go to the Powers menu and then to the temp powers section and find the Hero Buff power icon and then right click and select info, the gui popup box has a countdown timer in days. I did exactly the same as Beef and that timer is dropping a day at a time, no hours or seconds.

Am now down at 3 days time left to get the power and presumably the 7 day loyalty badge?

1. I have no idea why the "info" popup gui's are different when you do it via the under the xp bar icon and doing it from the powers menu icon.
2. The timer actually says "will activate in 3 days real time"

Yes. This would only need common sense. It is a 7 day badge and GR has been out 5 days as of now so be patient? It was released Monday 08/16/2010 correct?

Factor in the wait before you can do thye 2nd 5 tip missions and morality mission.

day 1 - 5 tip missions 8/16
day 2 - 5 tip missions and morality mission 8/17
day 3 - 1 days since morality mission 8/18
day 4 - 2 days since morality mission 8/19
day 5 - 3 days since morality mission 8/20
day 6 - 4 days since morality mission 8/21
day 7 - 5 days since morality mission 8/22
day 8 - 6 days since morality mission 8/23
day 9 - 7 days since morality mission 8/24

The badge should pop at the earliest for anyone on 08/24/10

It's odd, I got Frenzied badge quickly, and before the seven day period lapsed. Also to note, I just did my morality mission yesterday, and dinged with that badge.

just checked the timer via the info screen from the powers icon in the powers menu and the countdown timer is now showing 40 hrs 3 mins and some seconds.

I assume that from 7 days to go down to 2 days to go, it only shows whole days, then at 48 hours to go the actual times are shown.

I am sure I saw something about 48 hour countdown clocks displays during beta but cannot remember in what context.

I have bugged this (yes I know it is not bugged but just as a heads up for the Dev's) in the hope that the timer will get added to the buff icon for ease of checking.
