They are two different badges with the same name.
-
<Shrug> It seems something you should take up with Beef_Cake and the badge-hunter/vidiotmaps team on the badge hunter forums, not here.
-
You might want to look at the front page:
Quote:See the comment thread.Hey everyone, due to some high badnwidth usage on the Map Pack download, I have moved the file to a very safe and secure location over at Soundforge. The only difference for this particular downloadable file is it will take you to Soundforge's website to download the file. THis will safe the site a lot of bandwith. I hope you all find this not too troublesome, but it was something that had to be done.
On a side note, we should have the new Issue 18 Map Pack within the next week or two, we are still gathering all the information needed for the map pack.
Thanks,
Beef Cake -
Improved energy beam. That is the middle of the energy beam and elite energy beam items.

Quote:It is fully back. It does not award a base item of power, instead it can award a 7 day temp power if you choose that reward. It is up to you if you want to rip out the vault in your SG base. So, this is back in, sort of?
But, it no longer awards an Item of Power?
Then, we should rip out the Vaults in our SG bases?
Base items needed for the CoP Raid:
- SG Mission Computer
- Raid Teleporter
- Enough control production to use the above.
- Enough energy production to use the above.

Quote:No such badge exists. That kind of badge will never exist according to developers. What you are describing is a penalty for switching sides and introducing such a badge would nullify all the developer's hard work for making the Going Rogue alignment system.I have heard some talk of a badge that is only available to characters who remain committed to being heroes or villains, and that the badge is forfeited should the character change sides. Does such a badge exist and, if so, what are the rules that govern it?
All badges are kept switching sides.
This thread has all the new badges for Going Rogue: Going Rogue BadgesQuote:Many apologies if this has been a topic of wide discussion. I browsed the Badges forum and didn't see anything about it.
Any other new badges are just rumours at this point. -
It might (and I stress might) overwrite another tip, but if you do a morality mission all the other tips get dismissed anyways so why not just delete or dismiss any regular tips you are not going to use?
-
Quote:Kat, that option only exists in the menu you are looking at when you have one of these outside missions, or inside a instanced mission.
Arbiter Oates, the option in question disables itself on a very frequent basis and is off by default. -
Quote:This is what I figured out already. I was hoping I was wrong, but I guess not.Instead, it appears more likely that there are a series of three flags on your character that represent a single respec claimed per trial level range - not per badge or per level/trial combination. If this is the case and the game checks those flags instead of the badges you've collected, then once a character has claimed three respec badges, they simply won't be able to earn any more.
And yes, I did expressly bring it up. So did several others. -

Quote:I've /bugged this, posted many times about this, and tried to bring this to the developer's attention for a while now. I don't understand why this is such a hard thing to fix.Okay, my Rogue went to Atlas park to do some exploration badge hunting. One badge is inaccessable to Rogues, and that is Edge of Chaos. The elevator leading to the portal of Recluse's Victory is flagged for heroes only, and the Edge of Chaos badge needed for the accolade of Atlas Tour Guide is down that very elevator. The only way for my rogue to get it is to turn hero, then vigilante, then villain again and finally rogue. Unless the portal itself is not tuned to Hero/Vigilante only, then the elevator restriction is useless.
-
Were you able to claim a respec as a reward? If you were not, you can't get the badge. You have to claim a respec to get the badge, and you can claim a max of 1 from levels 24-33, a second from levels 34-43, and a third from 44-50. If you hold off until 50 you can get 3 of course.

Yes, it is a channel called "Triumph Watch 2.0"
It is Triumph's badge channel. Other versions are "Triumph Watch 2.1" (less population and moderation) and "Triumph Watch 3.0" (I'm sure it is a joke or someone that doesn't want any moderation). -
I'd suggest asking on Triumph Watch as well. I know if I'm around and not busy that I sometimes act as a tour guide to get explore/history badges.

Quote:Likely in some kind of recreation pack.I'm sure one of them will probably include the pop dance seen during GR beta.

What have people been doing in my TARDIS? -
Yes, I noted that too in the opening paragraph.
"The power actually will reset these zones to faded or black status." -
Summary:
I know this was reported in the beta test, and I know this was an problem a few years ago. The Fog of War for the minimaps keep resetting after a certain point. It used to only happen in the shadow shards, the hive, of PVP zones as those were usually the last zones visited. With the [Reveal] vet power, the zones will not clear the fog of war. The power actually will reset these zones to faded or black status. Now with Going Rogue, characters are able to visit more zones and now can hit the new upper limit just by switching sides, and not including starting from Praetoria.
Bug details:
The bug stems from the fact that each character has a buffer that can hold X amount of non-mission zones. The problem stems from the fact that there are more non-mission zones than this buffer allows. I'm guessing that there are some buffer overruns related to this as the clear data is not saved.
On my controller that I've had since 2005, I've visited or been to the following non-mission zones:
Hero Tutorial (map data is persistent between logins.)
- Atlas Park
- Brickstown
- Founders' Falls
- Galaxy City
- Independence Port
- Kings Row
- Overbrook "Faultline"
- Peregrine Island
- Salamanca "Croatoa"
- Skyway City
- Steel Canyon
- Talos Island
- Sewer Network
- Paragon Dance Party
- Abandoned Sewer Network
- Astoria "Dark Astoria"
- Baumton "Boomtown"
- Eastgate "The Hollows"
- Eastgate Tunnels "The Tunnels of the Trolls"
- Perez Park
- Striga Isle
- Terra Volta
- "The Hive"
- Venice "Crey's Folly"
- White Plains "(The) Rikti War Zone"
- Woodvale "Eden"
- Fire Base Zulu
- Cascade Archipelago
- The Chantry
- The Storm Palace
- Pocket D
- Bloody Bay
- Siren's Call
- Warburg
- Overbrook "Faultline" revamp
- Recluse's Victory
- Sharkhead Isle
- Grandville
- Nerva Archipelago
- St. Martial
- Port Oakes
- Mercy Island
- Cap au Diable
- The Abyss
- Monster Island
What this means:
With the addition of the 7 Praetorian maps (Praetorian Tutorial, NP, IC, Neu, and the 3 underground maps) that Praetorians that start blue side might not be able to clear any of the CoV zone's fog of war, and even have CoH zones "stuck". Given that more Praetorian zones will likely be added in future issues, the maximum amount of zones that can be buffered should be increased. -
Quote:Actually in this case I think they were running a test bed without watching the results (simulated scenarios) without realizing that the AV wasn't generating combat or system spam...When a bunch of users can easily generate recordings documenting a bug and a Dev responds with something like "they couldn't replicate it" that disconnect usually means something more along the lines of Castle telling us, "That bug is going to be relatively hard to solve and instead of getting the players' hopes up that we're going to be able to fix this quickly I'd rather be non-committal about it."
-
FYI, you don't need herostats running to have CoHLCD running. On the other hand, why not run herostats?
-
After 12 hours, my main hero badge collector gained 90 badges today. She is now at 865 badges.
And she is only at Vigilante stage now.
-
-
On beta I got to 946 badges. I still had a few defeat and strike forces to get (not including the Master Ofs). It is 6 day jobs and a few Day job accolades that will take the longest (depending on those master runs, of course).
-
While I didn't youtube it, I did a demorecord and posted a link for Castle to download it. I also dug through the demofile and found where he attacked me. I posted screenshots and where to find the offending attacks in the file. I even posted pictures of the offences (above).
-
Actually Castle said that they couldn't replicate it.
