Oh...and at the one store when I was buying it, the cashier remarked "hey, you know Champions Online is coming out soon, right?" As if I was loco for wanting to buy CoH.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, I would have punched them in the face for that remark!
Well, not really. I'm not completely insane yet, so I'd like to keep my non-existent criminal record in check. Looks like I'd just have to settle for imagining punching them in the face. -

There's a Best Buy here in Virginia that has a whole shelf full of Time cards and other PlayNC stuff. Best Buy is a good place to go for your gaming needs. -
Oh goodness YES! Fix those stupid white masks! They irritate the crud out of me!
-
This error is present in a great many games, and is very difficult to fix. Standard code rant applies.
The issue is probably low on their to-do list, as it rarely happens and is easily fixed with a quick petition. -
I think my jaw just broke due to it's rapid decent to the floor.

Whisper could be right. With so many people farming AE to get from 1 to 50 in only a few hours, your friend probably thought you were doing that.
-
Yeah, if your going for a "ZOMG NERFZ" thread, you have to at least try to make it believable. The devs have said absolutely nothing regarding the Issue 16 pictures, so we really have no idea about anything except for, it's power customization. (Or is that what they want us to think? *Duhn Duhn Duuuuuhhn!*)

I've got just one question.
Are Viridian and Shadow Spider the praetorian versions of Crimson and Indigo? Crimson and Viridian are very similar in appearance, and in their battle suits they are nearly identical. The only way to tell them apart is one wears Red and the other Green.
Shadow Spider and Indigo seem to have similar powers as well. They also share personalities closely.
So, are they praetorians? Or did someone just want to make an equivalent of Crimson and Indigo with no real relations to the other? -
The logs folder should be where you installed City of Heroes. For example, mine is located at:
C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\logs -
AT: Masterminds
Powerset: Thugs
Bug: Slipping feet.
When playing as a Thugs mastermind with your dual pistols drawn (attack stance) attempting to walk forward diagonally will play the normal forward animation, so it looks like you're sliding across the ground. This only affects the Huge model to my knowledge.
To replicate: Draw your dual pistols, and walk forward diagonally. -
Yup, that would be me.
I wanted to do it earlier because someone else beat me to the punch, and was starting a Synapse TF on the same day, at the same time I was planning. I didn't want to have conflicting schedules, so I set it to an earlier time... which I guess didn't work.
Like I said, I can try and start another one sometime next week, hopefully at a later time. -
Awww, no one else wants to come and do the Posi TF? It's not too late to sign up!
Oh Well. If nobody shows up, I'll try and get another one started next week, though I'll probably try a little later in the day. Maybe I'm the only morning person. -
If you can get past all the farming missions, the Mission Architect has some pretty neat stuff.
Like the one in my sig! *Shameless advertising* -

I think regular ma missions should have xp taken away and have the ticket rewards increased. This would still allow farming for IOs but not for xp.
Maybe add the ability to buy specific IOs like you can with merits or have a chance to get a purple recipe from the lvl 50 gold roll.
I think this would be enough reward to play MA.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, no it wouldn't. For casual players like me, I couldn't care less about getting the perfect IO slotting. Regular enhancements work just fine for me.
I play MA to do some new stories, instead of the older ones I've done before. If XP was removed, I'd stop playing MA altogether. -
If you've ever played the game "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" you may have noticed that in addition to the standard game modes like conquest and capture the flag, a select few maps had a special game mode simply called XL. Basically, this mode had no objectives other than to wipe out the opposing army. There would also be many more troopers than standard game modes. It was really fun. No rules, no things to collect, just shoot stuff. I would like to see something like this added to the Mission Architect.
It would be called Battle arena, and there could be a new room added just for this. What you would do is access the computer as if you were making a story arc, but instead, you would set up your own mini-war for yourself. Think something like the battle hot-spots in Sirens Call.
So, you would pick two opposing sides (within the same level-range) to fight each other. So for example, lets pick the Warriors vs the Freakshow. You would then pick which side you would fight for. You could also set certain battle parameters such as the location, number of units per side etc. Then, you would enter the big virtual world thingy (lol) that you use to access MA missions.
After you enter the map, you would spawn with your chosen side, lets say you joined the Warriors. A timer would count down, and after the timer went off, both sides would engage in an all out war! You would then fight until one side is completely defeated.
You would have unlimited respawns, but if your side is defeated, then the game will end when you are defeated, and thus you would lose. There wouldn't be any debt for dying in the battle arena, but at the same time there would be no XP/inf either. Instead, you would gain Architect tickets. Perhaps 1 for every unit you helped kill, and a bonus if your side wins.
You could also participate in this with a friend, for the ultimate battle, as two generals lead their respective armies into battle. Gladiators could be incorporated into this, having your own personal squad to aid you in battle. If a player defeated another player within this, no reputation would be awarded.
The reason for no XP/Inf is to prevent people from powerleveling off of this. I would see this a way to just have fun fighting hordes of enemies with your own army to assist you. You could possibly add more styles to this, like just an all out war, or waves of enemies.
So what do you think? Thoughts? Any ways you could improve this? I think this would be a really fun addition to the Mission Architect. -
The Event has been cancelled. I will try to set one up another time. :P

So, I have found the Architect Tickets are a great alternative for purchasing enhancements at lower levels, as money is scarce at those levels. While looking through the list of Dual Origins, there are no Damage Resistance enhancements! Why not?
There are Defense enhancements there, and there are also Damage Resistance Training enhancements, but no dual origin ones. Is this a bug? Now my Invulnerability tanker has to actually buy Resistance DO's!
Okay, so it's not that bad. But why are there no Resist DO's on the architect? I find resistance Training and Single origin, but no dual origin.
