am afraid that due to circumstances beyond my control i can now join this TF, sorry peeps
-
after a strange discussion with some friends we began to wonder if a group of lvl 1's could take down a giant monster, as they have no lvl, in thoery it is hardly any more difficult for a lvl 1 than 50!! (daft i know)
so whose up for getting together several teams of lvl 1/2's and trying to see how badly lusca kicks our [censored]?? was thinking saturday sometime, anyone actually up for this for a laugh? look on the bright side, lusca with no chance of debt -
if there still a space i'd love to join. lvl 35 (by then at least 36) ill/kin controller! name DayDream (global handle Anduril)
-
for pure PvE use, like mine as im not a fan of PvP 2 slots of fear duration works a treat for me, leaving plenty of slots for my other powers. not sure how it would be good slotted for PvP though
-
Have got leadership with my controller as i have solo'd a large amount of the way up to 34. find that tactics is a very useful power to have on when im solo'ing missions with +2's and i NEED to make sure they are held. although i dont htink it is an absolute must and dont often have assault on, it is certainly useful if you have the spare spaes for the powers.

played heroes for a very long time but only just decided to make a blaster. chosen elec/energy power sets and was just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on powers to choose/avoid etc. played too many scrappers to count and a few controllers, but know nothing much about blaster powers. any advice gretly appreciated
will probably go blapper route as im far too insane not to charge in middle of combat!!! -

Just wondering whether the fighting power pool is really worth I dont have it but since the IH nerf more regens seem to be taking it but with 3 slotted FH, Health, and Intergration as well as 3 slotted resilience I think we still pretty solid defensively.

i have a lvl 50 regen and i feel no need for fighting pool, seem to do perfectly well without, not felt much change from ED really, just the IH change has affected my character. only time i died recently was trying to solo a lvl 52 AV, and i doubt tough or weave woulda saved my [censored] there. -
i love regen as a secondary, but guess thats mainly cos my first character was regen. again katana would be my fav primary as that what my 50 has, but enjoying spines aswell.
like the dark powersets alot, but only really when playing as dark/dark, dont work so well if taken seperately imo -
dont know very much about MA, but got a lvl 30 scrapper with dark armour, so here's what id suggest from that.
DEATH SHROUD slotted up with a few damage and accuracy with an end red is very useful when taking on mobs of more than 2 people, and if ya can spare the end run it as much as possible.
OBSIDIAN SHIELD is a must so u have resistace to hold, sleep etc etc. scrapper without that is asking for debt.
DARK REGENERATION is a great heal but does depend on .
hitting so its needs at least one accuracy enhance in it
also very inportant for dark armour is getting fighting power pool to get tough and weave to boost your defense, otherwise can be a bit squishy.
i would also recomend getting super jump power pool as acrobatics is very helpful because it provides knockback protection which is very important for scrapper class
other than those i would say all the powers are optional and usefulness will vary according to play style etc
however these are just opinions from my experience with the first 30lvls with dark armour and i could be totally wrong -
hasten is most useful for recharging your heals and defense powers, like Dull pain, but its not too difficult to build up a decent attack chain without it.
dropped hasten after ED and havent missed it at all. if you want superspeed as your travel power, then its more useful than flurry, but i wouldnot take it if your going to get a different travel power, at least unless you have a free power slot to take at any point. -
MoG is not that great even in PvE, but it is useful as a last resort to switch on then run like the wind. but in PvP i doubt its enough to keep you alive for long against decent opponents.
best thing about MoG is when your teaming with a healer and turn it on, scares the [censored] out of them trying to heal you -
is brute taunt single target taunt?
If so provoke may be a better power for building up fury by getting attention of more enemies as it is a group taunt. -
with a view to getting fury built up quick and with no perma hasten it might be worth considering recharge reduc in brawl.
and stamina is a must i feel, slot it til ED kicks in and u get very little return on extra slots -
ninja ninjistu is my stalker and really loving it,

One warning (IMHO): Stalkers are a PvP AT. They solo badly and don't team well. Expect slow progress.

got to disagree with that, teamed up with and as a stalker, and no problems at all, infact useful for Lt's and bosses.
and i solo with mine, admittedly is low lvl but i like it. -
Go for Fire, reckon its got more options with the ED changes, and fiery aura with high fury is great for extra damage.
can be a bit end heavy til you get fitess though -
Gone for Energy/fire, mainly because havent used either before. seems good so far, but as there's 35 lvl's to go so we'll see
