Point 2 Hawkwood on your list, I was installing into correct directory so that wasn't problem.
and Point 3 I'm not gonna try atm, as have downloaded the 3gb worth of patches now, this was more of a future thing if i had same problem again.

Just wanted some workarounds now that I have CoH on disc and trying to figure what went wrong so If I get a problem again I don't make same mistakes.

All of these solutions will help me in the future thanks very much.

yeah it keeps trying to download all the patches as if they are not there, and as the last copy I have been able to use is the good/evil combined version that's alot of patches, tried stopping and restarting but at no time is it verifying, it just keeps trying to download.

Hi all, I just upgraded to windows 7 64-bit, before i did that i copied my existing CoH folder to a DvD just incase of problems.

Now I did hit a snag and my folder didn't transfer over correctly, no problem I thought as i put the folder onto DvD.

So I put DvD in copied files from DvD back to Hard Drive clicked on the updater and to my surprise it starts trying to download 3gb .

Now i'm from the EU so cannot get a DvD copy of game for upto GR, and now with this extra 3gb download I will exceed my monthly ISP limit costing me £20 .

Can someone tell me what I did wrong and maybe post a simple work around/solution so this won't happen again as I'm not gonna pay £20 again and will just give the game up.

I can have everything I want 6 slotted 6 slotted now, not asking for everything to be 6 slotted was asking if i could have the choice between having less slots more powers or less powers more slots which would be implemented each time I lvl.

With i19 on it's way and the added bonus of the fitness pool inherent, I wondered what would be a nice way to be able to cope with extra powers.

One way was to be able to choose upon leveling whether you wanted to choose a power at corrisponding lvl or enhancement slots, I feel this would also customize characters to being able to be even more unique by the time they hit 50.

You would have some toons that could have fewer powers but ultimately these would be more effective or some that have alot of powers but weaker in it's output.

Just a thought what do you guys think?

Well if they are that rare then like I said they need to have there colour changed on them to represent that, cos orange to me dosen't mean they are as rare as purples and I have had alot more purple drops then I have PvP.

only problems i foresee atm is on the Eu servers Defiant/Union are hitting yellow now, and the servers have been terrible for load times and lag because of this, now I don't know about the NA servers but if they were to merge EU/NA using the EU servers the game would be unplayable at certain times of day.

When will this be available on the Eu test server?

I think the best way to go forward with boosters would be to implement them so:-

A) You can purchase them from the store or
B) You can grind you way to earning the same costume parts or temp powers

that way nobody can gripe either way.

I personally won't be purchasing this pack or any future pack but not because they are no-good I actually really would like them but being from the EU I refuse to fund this game anymore as nothing seems to come back the EU way and would be really upset to find that my booster money paid from previous booster packs before GR, went anyway towards financing the US boxed version of the GR expansion or any future planned for expansions that won't make it to EU shores.

Just wandering why this committee needs to justify what they are doing?

If I came up with a loads of ideas for issue 25 and posted them off to the devs and all of a sudden I get a PM back from devs stating we really like your ideas can we discuss this further, would I then have to post on the forums to everyone that the devs have taken note of my ideas and we are in discussion?

I note that very few of the playbase actually use these official forums, so a majority of people have no input into dev suggestions what-so-ever, and have never seen in-game people complain to official forum users that we would voice an opinion for them.

Loving the fact we are getting the fitness pool for free.

Why?

Did we truly need it to be given free?

I don't think so, I'm hoping because what ever is around the corner is a bad *** and we will need it and I hope whatever it is, is so tough that people are crying about it on the forums for months and months.

This game needs a challenge giving the fitness pool for free does make it easier as now we get to choose 3 more powers and good slotters will be able to fit the 3 powers in pretty easily and make them useful, I know I will.

So to the devs make the game harder, much harder, make people cry, then this change might grab my attention

Swift + Hurdle inherent is certainly going to make those lvl1 death races abit easier

Just wandering what people thought about the possibility that the Eu will not recieve I20 closed beta access due to i19 being out at the same time, although nothing concrete has been set yet, the rumour mill has already begun to turn to yet another stab in the back to the EU.

I enjoyed the GR beta myself, although simalarity's between preatoria and real life have seemed to come to pass within the game as from what I can deduct :-
EU=Resistance, with tiny pockets of groups voicing there opinion
NcSoft/NA Servers=Loyalists, Not bothered about the small groups and sucking enriche big time.

Although I re-iterate that confirmation of us not recieving I20 CB has not come to pass yet, but given the recent track record we cannot be blamed for being pessimistic.

A possible suggestion could be that they could put I19 CB or the NA servers and use I20 CB for the EU servers would be more fairer and nobody could complain about being shafted.

What do you guys think?
