    I think i'm 1 of the few who keep dull pain out of my build for the stealth power
  2. Ah, found out that -20% is 20% from 75% (=15%), thats how they got to 60% base TH. Imho, 2 acc SO would do the trick already, so far most of my toons go around with just 1 acc SO and hit still pretty good.

    Maybe due PvP the 'hype' is 2acc SO atm?
  3. i checked that flash freeze, hero builder says it has a -20% base acc (yet TH even says 60%). Frozen aura is just stated as normal TH75%.

    Compared to my stone epic of my tanker, salt crystals, wich has a -10% base (67.5% TH) but when i use it, it has a quite high rate of succes (2x SO acc slotted).
  4. I took 2 travel powers, teleport and fly. With AS from the fly pool you get a nice extra attack (knockdown!!) and fly is just a lazy way instead of nonstop TP clicking (mission-traveling). And its just fun flying about a group of mobs and come falling down as big stone block
  5. Ice is the 'controllish' set of them all. Now i read that FA has such a bad accuracty, i might have to rethink the rest of my build

    Did the epic ice set also had a aoe hold/sleep power? My tanker has the stone epic with that salt-crystals wich has a realy good accuracy.
  6. When i was going upto 32 with my tanker, the time where a tanker still was a tanker and blappers didnt exsist (except Plight i think). I took basicly all defence i possibly could get, including the fighting pool. During that time, striga island was pretty new and highly populated so u need to good resist/defence versus anything if you wanted to tank-the-max. During that time i didnt had a travelpower untill lvl34, where i finaly did a respec-mission to go funny Granite style.

    So for your question, yes it is do-able.. yet dont expect to be a full-range tanker, more kinda a scranker. Specialy CoT (ghosts and firecasters) and the Council can be a serious pain in the .... But if you have a good strong party (possible with /force or /sonic for def/resist) you can go around quite strong.

    But as you said, you just have to pick the armors at least once, they are realy looking awsome.

  8. It is like that in most pvp-related online games, these are the risks of PvP. Since you go there, you accept the risk, same as the 'griefer' uses this tactic to take down opponents. Imho it gives a minor balance to the huge differences of AT-strenght.
  9. Isnt a immobilize already going -jump? Or do imm-protected people also get -fly even they are not getting immobilized?

    I think for the secondairies its the same as primairy, its focused more on control then on output damage. Primairy ice has no snipershot, has no uber nova (crappy blizzard) but has a extreme way of slowing down mobs to a nearly stop. This continues into the secondairy, -slow -slow -knockdown -slow -hold -sleep, all pretty crowed-controlling powers.

    I specialy like chilling embrace (erm.. correct spelling?) around a tanker who got a bit over his head. Run in to slow down their attacks, drop a icepatch and (if inv tanker) frozen auro. Spam a freezing touch on the annoying one and a chillblain on the flying mob, crowd-control to the max (as far blaster can CC).
  10. Inv has good s/l resist at already low lvl, easy to pick out the s/l-based missions if you go PvE alot (family, hellions, mookies!!). EA i think will be far better in I7 (if i understand the new defence system ok). Also EA gets conserve power and the end-drain power, a bit more active and usefull then the inv set. Inv though is king of the s/l resist.

    EM becomes very strong once you get Total focus/Energy Transfer, before that you just have to rely on fury. SS gets knockout blow at lowerlvl, great power. I like both sets, its a mather of preference.
  11. I think its pretty logic taking freezing touch before frozen auro, since they are resp. available at 35 and 38 After that its time for the epics anyway.

    Is the accuracy lower then normal?

    mobs around get slowed = slower attack = less incomming damage = longer surival.
  13. oh since we're at it, that lvl38 power is a sleep power. But i cant quite understand if its around yourself or around a foe?
  14. /ice isnt that bad, i'm quite enjoying it
    Though its good for PvP as it is now imho, fire is likewise not realy superior in PvP.
  15. I forgot what the total hp of a blaster is at (example) lvl32, but i dont think 100hp is 5% of his health. As quite a few mobs can blow 40-60% hp instant off a blaster, i rather see myself fullhealth all the time making defiance totaly obsolete.
  16. Ok do have to agree on that. When i drop down to a 5% hp and i launch my Total focus (hellooooo dmg), halfway midsky flying down i get hit to a faceplant, the power wont execute anymore.

    And so far i know, blizzard wont get boosted by defiance.

  18. I thought it was 100% damage boost for 20 secs of wich the first 10 seconds all damage and the remaining 10 seconds only fire.
  19. I like it as it is, only boost that stupid scaling a bit. It is more like a 'going out with a bang' power, then that it is actualy life-safing stuff for a blaster. Compared to a Brute (the damage dealer imho), a bit up-scaling would be nice.
  20. Ok, did a minor test yesterday. With only the lvl32 upgrade on my assaultbot after a few ranged attacks he still runs into the battlefield. Then i noticed the lvl38 /poison power that can cast this massive debuff power on 1 of your pets, in first case.. just awsome If i read right, they will remove the melee attack from the bots so i dont know how this will be in I7 but for now my assault bot wont get the first upgrade anymore.

    Now to get to 38...

    The healing of protector bots is basicly stupid. Wrong moments, wrong timing or just too late. Luckely /poison got a fast casting healing power so you can do the healing yourself.
    Hopefully that will get a minor fix in I7.

    I wasnt talking about herding, just 1 group of 11 mobs (based on team of 8 thats even low). By running back out of LoS (behind a crate) even a nrg-blaster can show off his aoe's without knocking them out of my aggro range.

    And can we stop the Dreck story for once.. there are still huge ammount of missions available where you can 'herd' till ya drop.
  23. so far i know, acrobatic has mag1 resist hold. A ice/ blaster can already overrule this, once with epics more AT can do a mag2+ hold on you.

    I do gonna test that FoN mezz resist, so far i ever noticed it never gave me any mezz resist. Then again, i hit 50 with him long time ago.

    For PvP i would say, get a tray of breakfree's safes you alot of extra powers to get and focus on your element (blaster = dmg dmg dmg).

    about ETtransfer, did they already fixed that 'stack up a 10 mobs into 1 spot' and when you do ET you hit them all together? (aka 10x 11% hp = faceplant).
  25. Make a choice for yourself at 32 if you want perma-granite tanking or the mid-style. Specialy for perma-granite TP is a good travelpower, together with swift (slot that 3x speed).
    Get rooted asap, gives a great regen-boost. Mudpots for the aggo-management. To be good allround tanker pre-32, taking the fighting pool is a good advice.
