    This.

Even if you're farming for purples, you may still get the ocasional LotG: Defense piece, Numina: Healing piece, Obliterations and other pool A recipes that are worth quite a penny on the market (at level 50).

    Merit Purchases

You can specify the exact level of the recipe you want to buy with merits, there's a bar with a sliding indicator at the top.

We're getting everything on the marketing survey Soon (TM)!!!" and got kicked into overdrive when Pos switched roles to work on the endgame. Something along those lines may very well happen someday, it's not all that hard to come up with the idea (prolly why it keeps resurfacing), but it really hasn't even been /hinted/ at as something they're planning.
GR will introduce ways to further develop your character, and (I assume) Maelstrom and other top end AVs will be balanced around fighting toons with those improvements.

God, you people take everything so literal, there's a reason why I used "quotation marks"
  4. Infernal (Praetorian) has very high protection to immobilize, so no one's gonna be keeping him at range unless they're hoverblasting
  5. Title of Mission: Rescue Numina from the Circle of Hands
    Arc ID: 388422
    Author Global: @Silverado
  6. Ozzymandias was a hero who saved the world when others, even with godly superpowers, failed to do so.

Saving the world from nuclear destruction is a great end, and great ends require great sacrifices. Was it humane of him to do what he did? by no means it wasn't, but you don't accomplish great things (such as saving the world) by being humane.

He sacrificed millions to save billions, the needs of the majority outweigh the needs of the minority. And that's like the textbook definition of justice and fairness

Is he really? that's very debatable.

    He did save the world

If you mean bad AND do bad, then you're evil (which includes kicking puppies and clubbing baby seals).
So in the end I guess it's neither action nor intent, it's your decisions what make you good or evil

  11. Infernal wins hands down, especially his Praetorian version

No Empaths redside means no reliable source of mobile +regeneration. They have to rely on WB Bionukes, which aren't always available.
  13. If your Brute can't fulfill the role of aggro management (read: tank) while dealing massive amounts of damage, you're doing it wrong.
  14. Virtue blueside hami raids are mondays, wednesdays and saturdays, usually very swift and painless

Virtue redside hami raids are on tuesdays and sundays, with varying degrees of success ranging from fair to mediocre

Devs do hate villains after all.

    Maelstrom

I also heard that he DOES hate villains

Reichsman is the only AV that currently has a hp discrepancy (and probably Tyrant in GR), because he's arguably a different kind of AV. Every other AV has 28k hp at level 50 and only a handful of them have DP (Ms. Liberty, Silver Mantis, Shadowhunter, Statesman)

Also as others have said, the duration of the regen debuff on PGT is effectively 40 seconds as long as the target(s) stay within the poison cloud.

I'm gonna guess that top end AVs in GR will be balanced around fighting characters with their 10 "global enhancement slots" acquired (or theoretically level 60), so he'll probably be very difficult (even moreso than Gyrfalcon who IMO outranks him in coolness and skill) but still doable by a character fully decked out in GR goodies.

    Patch notes??

Ah, now we know what this guy was talking about
  19. My favorite enemy is Ms Liberty.
  20. Fire Blast/Fiery Assault Blaster.

My attack chain would be Aim, Fiery Embrace, Blaze, Blaze, Incinerate, Blaze
  21. Yep, you can still kite with Swift/Hurdle/CJ/Sprint (and even SB and IR)

They can do it just fine if they're /Invuln or /SD (which do have a decent taunt aura), but damage auras from Fire, Dark and Elec actually trigger mob grief AI and they start running the heck away, arms flailing. It's especially bad if combined with Quills.
