Quote:Another CAD fan!RP sounds like it would be fun if no other reason than it would be different, and would hopefully be devoid of running into too many toons named DarthGokuverine.
In my experience virtue is like the jack of all trades server. Granted we've got an RP rep but if you look you can find a little of everything. -
I just wish VS had a longer duration. Re-summoning him every 60s gets to be not worth it.

Chilling Embrace is the only power in Ice Armor that has a slow/-rech effect. Ice Melee has slow/-rech attached to pretty much every power.
In my experience the majority of fury gained from enemy attacks comes from the alpha. Then you generally maintain that fury by attacking. Despite Chilling Embrace, CoF, or OG there's always going to be an alpha. -
I think I've finally settled on Claws/SR. Maybe... Probably. I don't have an SR toon yet, so it's about time.
-
Not much more than an SOs worth I'd assume. It already has a 1 sec cast time with a 1.5 rech. Set bonuses may even give you enough to do it.
I put all the damage procs I could into mine because I fire it off as often as possible. Right now my attack chain looks like:
Neutrino Bolt -> X-Ray Beam -> Neutrino Bolt -> Cosmic Burst.
No clue what my DPS comes out to though. -
Quote:Fixed that for you.1)2) /Elec is having Conserve Power, the level 28 power, replaced with Energize. Conserve Power is a self-buff on a long recharge that reduces your endurance consumption. Energize is a combination heal and self-buff on a shorter recharge that heals 25% of your HP (enhanceable to nearly 50%), grants 200% regeneration (also enhanceable to nearly twice that amount), and also reduces your endurance consumption.

Maybe next time?
Though they did give me Force of Nature to play around with... -
Conserve Power is changing for all versions of Elec Armor. The dev quote was explaining that they switched Lightning Reflexes and Energize for tanks and scrappers, but brutes and stalkers power order stays the same.

I was on that team with Trajectile, my Arch/Mental blaster. Was good times.
-
Oh wow me too. Nice catch.
*crosses fingers for Cold Mastery*
Edit: Oh that's why I missed it. That was posted in a later article. -
-
Still debating the secondary for my Claws brute as well. Going between /SR and /Elec. Maybe I'll roll one of each.

Quote:I just had to drop a large sum of money on a Vista book for school. *shudders*In the real word, I am a Network Engineer. Be warned, if you ask me how to fix Vista, I am likely to just tell you to install XP or install LINUX, depending on my mood.
Anyway, welcome to Virtue and enjoy your stay! -
I used it for awhile but respecced out of it shortly after Chain Induction got buffed. Haven't tried it since the melee range increase though.
-
I'd recommend bumping your difficulty up to get more enemies if you're finding your stalker friend defeats them too quickly. Also adding teamates will increase spawn size, and you'll be able to further adjust your difficulty once i16 goes live.
As far as endurance problems go, most brute players will recommend endurance slotting in your attacks. Constantly attacking to build fury can drain your blue bar very quickly.
I'd recommend waiting until level 20 or whenever you get Stamina to decide whether or not to re-roll your brute. You can't usually judge how well a brute will do before Stamina and slotting SOs. -
Don't get me wrong, scrappers are as deserving as any other AT is for more APP choices and it's about time they got some. Here's hoping they get some cool stuff in Blaze Mastery.
Not trying to claim defenders are deprived and should be put before everyone else either. Just posting some light-hearted wishful thinking. -
We just need to be more vocal like the scrappers to get what we want. Actually...scratch that, we're already pretty vocal as it is. Alright we just need to take action! You know...flip out and stab someone?
And a Munitions Mastery would be pretty awesome. Except then there'd really be no reason to play /Devices. But I'd be willing to live with that. -
I had high hopes while reading today's article and how it mentions Blaze Mastery for scrappers. Thought to myself maybe, just maybe they'd give us a mastery that fit with our first round of proliferation too? Maybe the devs are just waiting to announce Cold Mastery for defenders because they weren't able to put so much awesome into one article?
So... How about it Castle? Cold Mastery? Super-cool (hah, didn't mean to do that) defense based epic armor for us? Maybe a complete re-work of Vigilance too...?
...I can dream, can't I? -
Of all the Vigilance ideas being thrown around lately I like the OP's best. Though I think some of the buff values are a little low, but we'll leave balancing to the devs.
I saw a suggestion awhile ago that was very similiar to this but instead of being and auto it was a click that built with every power you used it you primary and secondary. -
How about an elaborate series of baseball signs?

I'm with StratoNexus on this one. As nice as it would be to have status protection in some form or another, it's not a hard weakness to overcome. I usually carry a few emergency break frees and some purple insps for such situations.
Besides, if everyone has status protection then what's the point of giving NPCs mez powers at all? Or giving defenders powers to prevent/break mezzes?
Edit: Strato's link just needs Benny Hill music going on in the backround. Everything's funnier when played in fast forward with that music. -
I liked the movie. It was a great summer, non-stop action movie.

Anything over a billion and you could consider yourself rich. Makes me wonder what percentage of characters actually have a billion or more...
I do know that if I dip below 100mil I'm feeling pretty poor.
