    • They want to tank.
    • To gather Fury-building aggro.

But it is by no means required. Personally, I forgo taunt. I prefer things like Hasten or Tough.
On my ss/invuln, I have all three!

Well it has better recovery than my live build; 3.4 end/sec and 1.05 end/sec drain in this build vs 3.26 and 1.11 currently. And I'm fine with my end on live

Short answer, I've seen plenty of invuln's do it. Buffs are always good

    The Tally

Fire/shield scrap from 1-29. Ran a great posi and a really long synapse
    Claws/wp brute from 40-46.
I think that's it, but I had fun.

Edit: In all seriousness, Why isn't Guardian being included in this event? We are just as much a part of this community as any of the other servers. I try not to whine about the whole love of heroes vs villains and all that stuff, but when one server is being left out out of all the servers, it sort of deserves to be brought to the attention.

See that other servers are left out too Triumph and Pinnacle, you have my sympathies as well. Come here to the stinky table at the Cafeteria.
And not even you mention Victory
  9. Sure maske, I have a storm/sonic defender that I like to play but never do because I prefer my cold psy. He now lives on champ.
  10. I moved 2 guys to freedom, my spines regen for pvp and some other thing. A corr that I never play I think. I'm gonna be moving more things I never play I think, but I don't really know anywhere to go.

oh yeah true. Guess I saw sentry talking about fury and my mind flipped. my bad
  14. I have tough and the ******* fire epic on my spine regen. ring of fire and fire blast. So, no perc. Kinda sucks, but I play on victory, so it doesn't really seem to matter whether i can see the one other guy in the zone first or not.

    Ss/inv pvp

Its a brute, stop building fossilize into your suggestions.
  16. So I was respeccing my spines regen to put physical perfection in, and I looked at blaze mastery. Apparently at level 50 Char does about 140 damage base in pvp. Is this right? seems like a lot for a quick animating ranged scrapper hold.

edit: meh, 32s rech. RoF and fire blast look promising though
  17. My idea is this:

    Masque, gimme money

if damage is your goal then maybe more ballance however if your making a PvP brute forget fury and focus on def, res and raw damage
A brute who isn't on a team to kill things is not a brute.
  19. Ugh, this Energize reordering thing strikes me as unfair. While it may be a technical difficulty, it's just unacceptable to realize that the power is needed earlier and just leave it be for the redside archetypes. Just because its easier to implement it with the creation of a "new" powerset doesn't justify slighting the players who have had to deal with the pre buffed set for so long.
  20. Heh, I came on here just to start a thread about serum, but I support everything else that's been said in this thread as well. My first 50/namesake is a mercs/bubbler.

Serum is useless, as has been said. I have no idea why I would want to make a tank out of any of my pets, especially in the post bodyguard(i7?) world, where I make a MUCH better tank regardless.

Pointless stealth is a good point. Medic who seems to cycle between brawl and grenades also has always been stupid.

I'm not really sure what mercs have over any other set. They seem like thugs lite or something. AoE capabilities inferior to Thugs and Bots, ST inferior to um... everything, toughness inferior to Zombies, Bots, and Thugs (given enforcers. probably). I think mercs are supposed to have superior control, though I imagine the Lich probably outdoes them.

    PvP fotms?

its actually like a 3 hour old post. just fyi.

edit: it hasnt even been that long. its like a 1 hour old post
  22. Shrikefire

    PvP fotms?

Nothing subtle. What are the primary fotms now, both blue and redside? ty in advance.
