The only thing I've ever heard from any kind of official adress (I think it was that survey) was 10 extra slots possible over level 50, but you'd still be a level 50, with max 6 slots in each power, just 10 more of them in total, f.ex to six-slot your level 49 power.
[/ QUOTE ]
Since they were called Universal Enhancement Slots in the survey I would think that they are likely to be new slots that modify the whole character rather then just being added to a power. Plus, Castle has said we wont get more power slots even if the level cap was raised -

whats up with your tailoring screen? why so different?
[/ QUOTE ]
I used Splasher to change my Character Selection screen to an image of Hero 1. -

I love the idea, but the devs that write content for the game don't have access to this function so I wouldn't hold my breath.
[/ QUOTE ]
And you know this... How?
[/ QUOTE ]
Because it doesn't do it now.more properly, I suppose, they *have not had* access to the function. Whether they've come up with it and do internally now is anyone's guess.
That said... yeah, I'd love to see it. It'd play havoc with some of the near-limit arcs that get made, but it'd still be interesting.
[/ QUOTE ]
Correct me if Im wrong but wouldn't "switchs" be similar to however the devs did the Origins of Powers arcs. they'd just have to creat a flag that is less permanent then badges and character origin, maybe a mission clue would work. -
[ QUOTE ]
I'd love to have a helmet-less bane/wolf costume as well. It would feel even more like the character broke away from the mold. Hmmm
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not even sure why we don't have helmet-less wolfspiders since the option seems to actually be in game, you just can't see it unless the character gets a rather odd glitch. -
[ QUOTE ]
Did the devs every give a reason that you cant just mix and match the veat costume parts in with the rest of the costumes. For me the costumes are half the fun of making the toon and leveling them. I might not be willing to spend over a mil inf on a enhancement but Ill gladly drop 10 times that on getting all the costume parts I can for the toon.
[/ QUOTE ]
Clipping issues. The NPC costumes aren't designed to work the same way as player costumes, they aren't modular. They did meantion that they could have maked a costume that looked similar to the NPC arachnos costumes that could have worked right, but it would have been noticably different from the NPC. -

weapon customization (wait, we got that one)
[/ QUOTE ]
BABs actually said that weapon customization wasn't all that hard. It was just a matter of removing the form of the sword from the power and replacing it with a variable costume slot option. It wasn't something that was made virtually impossible without hefty modification of the game engine.
[/ QUOTE ]
As I remember they stumbled on weapon customization while working on shields, before that they thought it fell under power customization. -
For a "gold like" aura I've always been partial to the halo/sun disk effect you can get with Glowing Aura-> head.

Modified summons is a must, but I'm not sure assault would be very wise without some kind of added protection or at least higher hit points. The catch 22 is that, an AT with henchmen effectively has a larger pool of hit points, so the character himself needs to have less. Forcing such a character in melee could be... Dangerous without protection.
[/ QUOTE ]
That would be why I suggested swapping the ranged powers in the summons for deffence powers, but I suggested Assaults because 1) it was another set type that heros don't have and 2) by adding another AT that uses them, it might increase the likelyhood of getting new Assault sets added in the future. Pulling some of the hit points off of the henchman and adding it to the character himself might not be a bad idea as well, though I don't know if I'd let the Commander pass the damage he takes onto his squad like a Master Mind can. Granted that might just make them crabs with better pets. -
If we're going to be swaping set types then we might as well get some use out of the under utilized ones. For primaries give Commanders Assualt sets and whatever villians get the Manipulation sets. For secondaries, Commanders get modified Summons (perhaps change the ranged attacks to deffencesand make the henchmen more support oriented) and I'm not sure about the new villian one, maybe blasts to make a Blapper AT.

I'm referring to the Writer's badge that's required for the accolade. A player needs 100 people to play his published arcs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless somethings changed, you can get it by playing your own mission 100 times.
[/ QUOTE ]
There's also a timer on rating your own missions. I forget exactly how long you have to wait, but it'll take weeks if not months to do it all yourself.
I have published 1 arc, and at this time no one has tried it yet. I feel no need to make anything else and I have no desire to advertise the one arc I did make.
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe something changed then, cause I was able to get bard by myself in less then a day. I only had to complete the mission to generate credit, I didn't have to rate it (as far as Im aware you can't actually rate your own missions). By chance are you thinking of the Builder badge line which is dependent on the missions rating and not required for the accolade? -

One last note: At least one story arc points out that when Lost are converted to full Rikti, they are allowed to chose between the Traditionalists and Restructurists. Apparently the two factions have some kind of accord to the effect that they'll get along when sorting out new recruits.
[/ QUOTE ]
I may be wrong but I always got the impression that the Traditionalist and Restructurists were more of political factions (i.e. democrate vs republican) and really wouldn't need an accord to work together. -

..sorry..Ive never taking a screenie before so it might be a little blurryish

how did you get the top to be so umm revealing?
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless Im mistaken its non skin skin (tights in a color that is close to a skin tone). It appears to be the second to last orange with either horleus or mesh mask on the lightest orange skin.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'll take a stab in the dark that is the belaro and the eden for the "chest piece"
that would leave a lot of skin
[/ QUOTE ]
Eden vs. non-skin-skin -
This sounds eerily close to the hologrind from SW:G. All that would happen is people would create several characters they don't care about for the sole perpose of sacrificing them to get the overpowered one that they do.
-
From what I remember Poshyb said it was like that origionaly and they got a lot of complaints.
-
Only place I've seen that kind of thing offered was Bankof America for use with online banking. If I remember it would have cost $19.99 to get it so I passed.

Here's a few more. I tried to get a clear shot from the tailor menu this time, but for some reason I couldn't take a screenshot there. How does everyone else do that?
[/ QUOTE ]
The way I do it is just enter the menu, press print screen, minimize CoH, open an image editing program (windows Paint works, though it's not ideal) then hit ctrl+v to paste the screen capture. Then just resize and save. -

How are people getting the arcane/ornate trim on the skirts?
For the life of me I can't figure out how to do that.
[/ QUOTE ]
the Dress patern that matchs the Magic pack's Ornate design is Bridal from the Wedding pack. -
I haven't gotten to put these on the character they wer designed for, but I came up with a Classic Robes and a Armored Mage looks for my mage character.

If you can exclude primaries from mixing with certain secondaries, why not exclude costumes from certain powersets, but not all?
[/ QUOTE ]
Back Alley Brawler has said that they can't restrict costume peices based on power choices currentl (and that if they could dual blades would disallow the pirate hook), though I did get the impression it was something they'd like to be able to do. -
[ QUOTE ]
The collar that comes with the wizardly cape, is that switch offable? Like can we just have the wizard cape and no collar? or is it 1 costume piece.
[/ QUOTE ]
My guess is that when Jay said it worked like other cape/back options, he meant the high collor is a new type of cape mantel (just like full, half, asymmetrical or shoulder) which you can then pick a cape design for.
