Quote:To my knowledge this is inaccurate, in so much as only a single version of a pre-order code can be applied to an account. The difference is in the NUMBER of them that were available to any one player. You would have had to pre-order at 4 different stores to get all of the Helms, so they included them as a reward so that the average sane player could get the other 3 he may be missing. I believe the Sprints were a similar case (not sure on that one).
Quote:As for the cape, it was available through the purchase of a single product, and so is still linked to that product. Also, you can no longer pre-order a game that has been released for years... but you can still (somewhere) find copies of the other products. -
Don't email, call them. When I had my account hacked (my first indication was the banning, so the hacker couldn't do too much damage to my characters) I was told they usually wait for the player to call and don't respond to email incase it got hacked too. And make sure you have something that confirms its your account when you do, best bet is one of the game codes you used on your account.

Not really:
Quote:Q11 “What Costume Sets will we get in Going Rogue?”
DN: Quite a few: Resistance, Antimatter Clockwork, Praetoria Police and Sport for starters.
No word on I19 though. -
If they were going to mix axes and swords models into Broad Sword and Batlleaxe I think it would be better to rename the former "Light Bladed Weapons" (lighter weight allows you to parry and get around your targets guard, justifying the defs aspects) and the latter "Heavy Bladed Weapons" (bigger weapons let you knock your target around). Not saying it should be done (though part of me does likes the idea) just that it's makes a little more sense then trying to claim two different powers sets are really the same.

The Complete Edition is $40 and includes a free month, if you were going to buy the month anyways than it's effectively only $25, and will save you another $7 if you're interested in getting the Alpha and Omega costume pack. If you pre-order through Gamespot, you can also add in the Razer $5 coupon and Sphex mouse pad which you can sell if you don't want (the basic Sphex seems to cost $15 but you might get more for the CoH:GR edition). End result, a possible -$2 cost.

the Slpasher screen difference is due to the tag -uiskin 2 in the short cut path (which works on the test client by the way). The strongest indication that you need the new download is that it will take you to different servers then the test client

Quote:Don't know how much it would help but it only took me a few minutes to wipe this up:however, theres 2 places where it can get a little confusing, one place is the RWZ vendor and other place is the cim vendor because both of those have SOs for ALL origins, and if you didnt learn the names then you have to find the ones with the right borders which can be a tad small and some of them sort of blend together sometimes
Magic, Mutant, Natural, Science and Tech. I think the colors are different enough.
Here are the files if anyone wants them. -
Technically speaking, Stagger is actually using an odd centering outside of the AH. As far as I can tell, every other enhancement places the artwork in the upper left corner of the .texture while Stagger places it more toward the center, the AH interface is just using the standard alignment rather then Stagger's unique one. That's why the pog looks centered in the first picture, the texture was created by pasting the pog into the icon at the standard location.
-
So, I went in a looked at Stagger and found:
Tried adjusting it and got:
Finally I removed the mod and got:
It appears Stagger is a little screwy, the recipe references a section of the art work that is slightly off from the enhancement, and while the enhancement uses the same alignment as every other enhancement, its using more of it then other enhancements (the picture extends beyond the pog).
Edit: double checked and apparently the enhancement is only miss aligned in the consignment interface so THIS will get you this: -

Quote:Not that I'm supporting Durakken or anything, but this bit is next to meaningless, there's little reason to believe that all versions of a character through out the Multiverse will share a common birthday as we already have Sister Psyche and Mother Mayhem not sharing birthdays.Praetorian Gerhardt was born and died in Prussia; this means he had to die before 1947, and most likely before 1934. He also died an old man, I interpret this as at least 60. This puts Gerhardt's birthdate (and therefore the birthdate of every Lord Nemesis in the multiverse) some time before 1887. Manticore and Protean were born after that.

Quote:What do you mean implied, they flat out told us at Hero-con it would be unlockable. Plus with the new Razer Q&A:Bolded for emphasis.
Something said by the devs ages ago implied that we'll be able to earn the individual pieces as regular costume parts, after GR goes live.

Here's a copy of the purple background Aegis icon, just drop it into the Enhancement folder.

Quote:From Gamestop's web site:Red the release says the redemption codes will be printed on your receipt - you sure that's gonna work with an online order?
Quote:Online Customers: A code and instructions on how to redeem your exclusive five exclusive character power enhancements will be emailed when the game releases. Razer Sphex City of Heroes desktop skin will ship with your game.
Store / In-Store Pickup Customers: A code and instructions on how to redeem your five exclusive character power enhancements will be printed on your receipt at time of purchase. Razer Sphex City of Heroes desktop skin will be available for pick-up at time of game purchase. -
Quote:Actually it's not, It's similar to but not identical to Blue Steel's shields and and is even still usable in AE. As I recall one of the devs said it was added to the game to be made into an unlockable, they just hadn't put in the unlock yet.It was not removed for unknown reason - it's a signature piece - it was/is meant to be unique to Blue Shield.

Quote:The General Epaulets are still in the game on Jackets, Robes and Trench Coats. The Task Force Commander accolade briefly unlocked a pair of shoulder epaulets. Essentially the same as the two spiked epaulets except... um, without the spikes. The normal epaulets vanished from the game a while back, for no discernible reason. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one NPC wearing them.

Don't mind in the least. If you need I can also put up the bitmaps I did if you wanted them, in case I converted any of them wrong or what ever.

Quote:They did talk about implementing a cancel buff option at Hero-con in one of the pod casts ("wouldn't it be great if" I think, or something like that).Yeah this is a pretty common request (it comes up in pretty much every speed boost thread). As far as I know the devs have never made any statements one way or another regarding whether they are considering it but it's a good bet that it would be a lot of work to implement.

Quote:Yeah kind of figured it would be best used with what ever work around you came up with for the Defense Pog.Yeah that's a fix I had already done locally. Though as I said, I feel it would just add to the confusion when SO/DOs don't show the same icon. BUT with the icon I've done for them, I'll probably include those textures.
I got the set IO icons done to be compatible with Neo Shadowdream's pack if anyone wants them. Note I did the Resist sets with the light blue green pog. For comparison to my last pic:
By the way I like your newest version of the Def-Res pog Neo.
