GR Question...

Does the Prepurchase of Going Rogue for $30 come with 30 days of game time?

I ask because, if it does I can buy it now, if not, I have to pay my subscription fees instead.

It does not. Buying the Collecter's Edition box (or whatever the actual name is) gets you the free month (at $40, so it's technically cheaper, plus you also get the Items pack for free instead of an extra $6.99).

Dec out.

Guess I have to wait then. That sucks.

Frankly, I don't think it's worth more than $30.

The Complete Edition is $40 and includes a free month, if you were going to buy the month anyways than it's effectively only $25, and will save you another $7 if you're interested in getting the Alpha and Omega costume pack. If you pre-order through Gamespot, you can also add in the Razer $5 coupon and Sphex mouse pad which you can sell if you don't want (the basic Sphex seems to cost $15 but you might get more for the CoH:GR edition). End result, a possible -$2 cost.

Yup, what Shadow State said is accurate. The retail box is effectively cheaper since instead of paying a straight $30 then also having to pay your subscription fee for the month, you can pay $40 and get the month's fee waived, thus netting to $25.

In addition to the goodies Shadow State mentioned, the preorder through GameStop will also give your new characters 5 dam/rech IOs that are slottable at level 1 but are effectively level 20.

Unless someone just *had* to have early access to Demon Summoning or Dual Pistols, the no-brainer path is to do the retail preorder, not the online prepurchase.
