First off, WotWs happened in the 50s if i am not mistaken maybe 40s??? But anyway the trailer mentions in the final years of the 19th century??? Which means 15 years later is like WW1 time frame and the weapons etc are much far beyond that. -

Funny, almost every day I log in, Champion has had two gold dots on its population rating. This in contrast to the one green dot I'd always see a year ago. The population has clearly grown.

Yeah, I get Eli and Chloe. I just found it difficult to swallow that a show with Rush in it brings thoughts of "younger, edgier" to mind. By the way, Ferreira who plays Colonel Young is 43 which is actually older than Flannigan's Sheppard when Atlantis started.
As for Lieutenant Scott, he's the appropriate age for a lieutenant. -

Yeah, I've played DCUO as well and while it's better than CO (but really, what isn't?), and the graphics and environments are good and perform remarkably well, there are other console games that do the game play much better, and the character creator is laughable (I couldn't believe how bad it was-- your character is even pigeonholed into a specific origin/backstory). -

Dr. Mayhem, you're absolutely correct in understanding the reasoning. Because MGM is already bankrupt and that SyFy has cancelled SGU, it makes it look like interest in Stargate as a franchise has died completely so MGM won't fund it anymore. SGU's cancellation is very bad for Stargate as a whole.
