    Regen Choice

The slots in Tough would be better spent.

BTW that second slot in Resilience gives you like 1% extra res to S/L.
  2. Without aid too, Regen Scrappers used to complain when they were healed during Hami raids.

    I have a dream!

/Regen Stalkers are the easiest Stalkers to flush out and kill in PvP, fact. Sorry but that's just how it is. End of story.

Anyhoo I guess Ninja Blade makes up for the lack of stun etc with it's Accuracy increase and -Def, so even more accurate. Saying that though it isn't exactly as desireable for a Stalker as stuns, but it does get some knockup/down.
  4. Maybe if you watch this demo...

Keep in mind though that this was when IH was still a toggle, but with IH active you're an invincible machine. Though you couldn't herd that many up anymore.
  5. You wouldn't want to miss the passives would you? Don't they give that +res bonus?
  6. I used to say Chives' song is 'All my Life'.

I changed my mind though, it's gotta be 'Ace of Spades' by Motorhead.

    Best PvP Build?

the only things I haven't been able ot beat with an energy energy blaster are /regen

Try getting a fight with a Claws or Katana Regen Scrapper, it'll make you feel better.
  8. Make sure you pick up Lunge instead of Barb Swipe at the start, get Spine Burst ASAP, don't miss Impale, Ripper and Throw Spines while leveling. Take or leave Quills, it is a good power but a huge endurance hog. Never think about Barb Swipe even though you have few single target attacks, love your AoE capabilities, love them like an unborn child.

Oh yeah and I find AoE powers from the Epic pools top your AoE capabilities off very nicely, so consider picking up Energy Torrent/Torrent (you aren't going to go with Weapons let's face it).

Yeah and I'm not giving advice on SR, I don't like SR.

    Best PvP Build?

In my opinion a combination of Fire/Illusion with Kin/Rad are the best.

Not saying they can't be beaten, but they're probably the one with the least weakness.

And come on knowing how to play you build doesn't count for everything, I don't care how good let's say an Ice/Ice tank is he'll never beat an decent let's say Ill/Rad. I agree however that it comes down to skill when the sets have a good chance against eachother.
  10. Attitude is what seperates the Players from the Enviroment.
  11. Bloody hell this call certainly went far and wide.

I wonder who'll come back out of the WoWorks next...

(DID YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE? HAHAHAHA)
  12. I prefer Hover to acrobatics. Hover is exelent movement, Leaping with the CJ and Hurdle combo is faster movement, but not better. I'd say go with Hover and Fly rather than the Leaping pool.

Illusion gets to take advantage of the exelent Superior Invis concealment power, but with all the +perception that goes around in PvP it becomes pretty redundant, unless you're out of the way. With Acrobatics there wouldn't be much point even bothering with Superior Invis, let's face it Ill/Emp is most at home in a team and teams will always have a way of seeing through invis. But coupled with you Hovering a good distance overhead, you can strike, heal or buff with much better safety.

Knockback powers are annoying but not having knockback powers used on you is even better.
  13. Good post.

I also think staying out of the way is very important for most secondaries. Bubblers and Storms should probably mix it up but others do well to be out of the way till needed.
  14. What's stopping them doing the same? Or even poping a break free as soon as two hold effects are on him? If he did so his break free tray would last longer, granting teh winz.

Mind Over Body is nice, but it's not perma anymore and it's pretty easy to stack over when fighting other controllers. Since it's click-based, if you die with it running you'll have to wait for it to come back. It's easier to just bring a full tray of break-frees instead.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Remember though the Controller you're fighting would have to stack three on you to get you held, but they'll have to do that around getting held by you, as they'll get held off the bat.
  16. Whoa I never thought this thread would come around.
  17. I'm like the only one with any skill, because of all the RTS.

    </PurePwnage>
  18. I still think it'd have been a draw at least if you hadn't seen me the day before.

Anyhow my point was that I've beaten Supposed Scrapper neuterers with my Scrapper, J. So there's your answer you can change your veiw now.
  19. What he meant to say is Chives is back so your days are numbered!
  20. I've beaten Ill/Rads, Grav, Fire and Mind /Storm Controllers. Ice/Energy Blasters. And many other PvP builds.

What is there left to beat then? Is Spines the ultimate PvP build? I've been beaten before by not-so-uber PvP builds as the above.

What's the biggest PvE challenge in the game? Hamidon? Give me a break all there is to that is getting enough Controllers or ripping the latest strategy off of the yanks.
  21. I didn't reactivate for nothin'.

  22. [ QUOTE ]
Skill is not required in this game to do PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Wait a minute did they swap PvP and PvE around while I was gone or something?
  23. Ok this thread is proof that I'm the life of the Scrapapocalypse.

As always any questions please ask.

This will be my last post.
