    1. Brutes (more expensive to softcap, but much faster than tanks)
    SS/Shield/MU (have one... he is great, but after a while i have to mute my sound... KABOOOM!)
    Elec/Shield/MU (have a scrapper... as fast as the SS/Shield brute, but currently without MU-Mastery)
    Fire/Shield/MU
    --
    xyz/Elec/MU for Rikti (I love my softcapped Elm/Ela)
    something with a lot AOEs/Fire

    2. Tanks (easy to softcap but less damage)
    Shield/SS
    Shield/Elec
    Shield/Fire (one more AOE than the brute version)
    --
    Elec/xyz
    Fire/something with a lot AOEs (I love my softcapped fire/fire)
    just don't use a Stone-Tank for farming... you'll be safe, but also really really bored...

    Hallo zusammen.

    Als langjähriger Nutzer von City of Heroes hatte mittlerweile schon einige Male mit dem NCSOFT-Support zu tun. Auslöser dieses Posts ist aber ein aktuelles Account-Problem.

    Was ich aber immer wieder feststellen musste, egal bei welchem Spiel (Guildwars, Aion und CoX), egal wie oft ich nun schon ein Ticket beim Support aufmachen musste, Ich bin immer wieder aufs neue darüber erstaunt wie reibungslos, schnell und freundlich eine Reklamation, ein Bugreport oder ein Accountproblem vom Support bearbeitet wird.

    Wann immer ich Hilfe brauche, dann bekomme ich die sehr schnell (natürlich muss man seine "Probleme" gut erklären) und wirkungsvoll.
    Auf diesem Weg möchte ich mich in aller Öffentlichkeit beim Support bedanken.

    Weiter so! Ihr seid toll. So manche Firma könnte sich ein Stück von Eurem Support abschneiden, das würde denen nicht schaden.

    Das ist auch schon alles... danke fürs Lesen.

    So I've been away for a while and now that I'm reading all this stuff about Dark Armor and Defense...
    DA seems to have a cloak where you don't lose half of the defense when you attack.
    Stealth does, Cloaking Device does, Hide does... Cloak of Darkness and Energy Cloak don't? Why is that?

    Could you please check that again?

    ...and still wanted to say great job and I love capped-defenses, too... currently running around with a fire/fire tank and a elm/ela brute who are capped for S/L... they are both very nice.

    This is about rage in general, not only on brutes... so I'm posting in this forum.

    I have a question that has been bothering me for some time now. This is about "Rage" on a SS/Shield Character. I did not spec into it because of the ragecrash. Though now after reading some of the posts in this forum about SS/x or x/SS characters I'm not sure about this skill anymore. I had it an my SS/Invul Brute and liked it... except for when it crashed. So I made my shield brute without it. The thing is shield really lives because of it's defenses, so my question is...

    How does everyone get around the -def debuff from the ragecrash?

    Aside from the lack of rage my brute is doing fine. I can go on forever without ever stopping to fight and I do massive AOE damage (footstomp, shieldcharge and ball lightning, I really love +2/8-Maps full of mobs). Killspeed is really ok with all the fury i generate and softcapped defenses and aid self and knockdowns... well let's say I almost never die.

    That's exactly what I do... I also transfer stuff to other toons and sell it in their slots...
    It takes me about 30/45min. to make 1500 tickets/3000 tickets if I count those generated on 2. account...

    And concerning the midlevel crisis project... thanks for the hint, but I'm from Germany and playing on Zukunft (possibly the most empty server on earth). I just post here, because here are actually people online...

    So back to topic...

    I just made it to 1B by TRYING to sell whites for 250 and yellows for 1000... People are betting crazy amounts even though I put stuff up for less...

    I do think 1 Billion is still a nice amount of inf., but I really am doing fine building toons for below 200 Mio. (I'm using the planner and do never calculate with purples) and they really do well (softcapped defenses etc.). If I wanted I had a billion soon. I'd just grind it out with one of my 50s in a nice mission +0/8 and look for good drops...
    But what I do instead is selling stuff for much less than market value... I mainly grind for salvage. I sell whites for 250, yellows for 1000 (always) and keep the oranges. I want to bring prices down again... but it's not easy to flood the market with salvage for ONE person... I just don't find the prices reasonable at the moment and I think it scares away people (referring to newbs) from the game... Redside I've seen some success already but as soon as I stop it goes away again... :-/ If we had the low prices again... think of how much your Billions would be worth again!
    I'd also like it if we only had one market for blue AND redside, but that's a different discussion.

    Just one thing... i noticed you're over the cap with your HP-bonus from all the LOTG-sets. Exchange the Def/End Lotg in Doge with the one from the Kismet Set... this adds an additional 1,5% recovery and doesn't change much else.

    Everything else is just perfect if you can afford it... .

    I have a problem concerning my english arc "Robin Wuss and the nutty Sheriff". As I'm from Germany I'm playing on Zukunft. I don't want to publish my arc in German, because the language would mess up all the funny quotes I included in my arc. So now my question:

    How can I publish my English arc from Zukunft under the language category "English" and not "German"?

    This is seriously annoying, as I get bad ratings, because people don't speak English^^ I even wrote that it is in English in the description...
