Heroside or villainside? Just curious.

I bought my Hamidon Goo for less than one million infamy two weeks ago. <_<

A little while ago I was doing some badge-crafting in the morning, and I saw the price of some common thing or other (not Luck Charms or Runebound Armor, it was something more mundane, like Improvised Cybernetics) jump from 12 inf to 1000 inf as people drained the available supply. It was a pretty fascinating thing to watch.
[/ QUOTE ]
It gets hilarious for me after a while. While I'm doing the market thing with my villains I write down things they need, how much it costs to craft etc. I had something similar to your experience, except it was on a larger scale. An Uncommon salvage piece was selling in the low hundreds on the market, but when I bid 2,000 it wasn't buying instantly (like it would if I was highest bidder). Turns out some peeps were bidding 4,000! Then I bid 5,000. Someone bid 10,000 infamy on them from the history lookings. Time was of the essence, so I just bid 20,000 and got done with it. Nothing like watching the system bleed. -
The Market watch is very interesting, considering I bought my Hamidon Goo for less than one million infamy two weeks ago. <_<
I really don't mind the crosswords being too easy or too hard, but using the H word ticks me a smidgen. -
Very nice. It's crazy how much stuff can get put into these so fast. Love the restaurant ad by the way.

Is street fighting just a mix of kicks/punches/martial arts? Or is it brass knuckles, bats, chains, switchblades and broken bottles? Cuz the former is just a variation on MA/DM and the latter would rule.
[/ QUOTE ]
I was thinking you tear up the street and throw it at your enemies, but brass knuckles would be cool too.
I for one would like Radiation Melee and Aura. It would be a nice, colorful alternative to porting Electric Melee/Armor, and could still thematically keep the capped Energy resistance (and accelerating your own metabolism could be Lightning Reflexes, etc.) Personally, I think green and blue fit better with heroes and red/black clicks with redside. -
My Mastermind build will be including:
6 slotted Health
6 slotted Combat Jumping
6 slotted Poison Gas Arrow
6 slotted Acid Arrow
Oh Devs, what lewt have you wrought that I'm slotting Acid Arrow for damage? -
Eeep! Crazy man can create cartels out of nothing!

I've got to say, Issue 9 has made CoH a heck of a lot more addictive.
Good job!

The Genin Snap Shot and Aimed Shot are the only powers they get with an accuracy bonus (1.05). Though the Jounin's Ninja Blade has 1.05 accuracy as well.
You mention Flash Arrow "in conjunction with Blinding Powder", but Blinding Powder for Jounin only debuffs by 1%, weak compared to FA's 3.75%.
Glue Arrow is already capped at 90%, using 3 slots on slow would only come in handy facing +5s or the Triangles. -

Something tells me that will the grandville and archnos maps, this TF is going to be lag-tastic.
[/ QUOTE ]
I hope it doesn't have the lag mayhems do. Every time I get that 00:30 bonus I can't do anything for 10 seconds. If it's brutal on my Mastermind I shudder to think how many times my blaster will die (in addition to the inherent blaster deaths)

I've only had the aggro bypass thing happen with Mynx, several on 8-man teams. One time there was a Fire Brute, Dark Brute (with Taunt), 2 Stalkers, a Fire Corruptor, a Dark Mastermind, a Dominator, and my Mastermind.
Everytime we'd "zerg" Mynx would aim straight for me, bypassing every single person her stupid cateyes saw.
Had I not been in bodyguard, I would've died way more than I happened to that time. It only got worse when I'd rez and she'd still go for me, as if there was some shiny that she needed to dismember me for.
The only solace I got was when I held aggro while hovering.

I think that Voltaic Sentinel should have more of a design like the munchkins of the Mu Guardians (and I could've sworn Mu Adepts). Their pet, the "Sentinel of Lightning", as far as I can tell, has Lightning Bolt, Charged Bolts, and Static Discharge.
My mastermind was almost decimated when the pets seemed to be taking more damage than normal, weren't following him, and then suddenly I look back and this Red thing is shooting attacks off like a crazy lunatic. My pets are panicking, and I'm perplexed why I can't attack the darn thing. Suddenly, the summoner Mu returns, slaps me with a Stunning Bolt, and shreds my pets one by one as I too succumb to the AoEs and Cones of those two.
It only happened once, but that's what a Sparky should be capable of. -

More then likely, other plans are in the works too, possibly good or bad. Hopefully, not bad, as Castle did post some of his ideas here first and should they bad, the mobs will likely look to burn blasters at the stake first

Meh, seen bigger.

Yeah, seriously. When the pyramid goes off the page and you have to use the bottom scroll bar to read all of the quotes, THEN we'll talk. Hopefully it won't get nuked before then XP

Think we can try? With two quotes from Castle in it more people might see it through the Dev Digest. -

Don't forget that the actual team leader shouldn't look in the power description of the Rad corruptor...They might just find out he didn't take Radiation Infection or Mutation and know that their team is useless.

Note: From the view of a Ninja/Trick Arrow Mastermind, 50.
Entangling Arrow: Very useful IMO, it can immobilize a lieutenant and can be spammed for a boss. I notice the -speed, but a -recharge should be in effect.
Flash Arrow: My ninjas (or teammates) could definitely use a -range to their advantage, as Genin love spamming Shuriken.
Glue Arrow: I'm annoyed by the fact that a Longbow Eagle can float out of my glue patch, but the -speed and -rech outweigh it. The duration should be ~40 seconds IMO.
Ice Arrow: Another thing that could use -recharge, a nice hold even if I just barely stack it.
Poison Gas Arrow: A sleep is in there for concept, but it could use a -regen way more. 25% or so, I think half of Rad's -regen, if PGA doesn't have -rech already, give it
Acid Arrow: Another thing that could use -regen (half of Rad's), I have no qualms about the AoE, Glue and disrupt take care of it.
Disruption Arrow: It should have a higher -res than Tar Patch, as TA ppl need to use Glue Arrow paired with it for same effect.
Oil Slick Arrow: The only reason I took TA on my MM (honest), it shouldn't have any bugs associated with it. The duration and rech are cool, as 3 Rech SOs and Hasten make it 7 seconds short of perma. Ninja scattering are part of the AI bugs, not OSA directly.
EMP Arrow: Rad has no reason to say Acid can't have a -regen because this thing does. With 3 rech SOs, perfect acc, and Hasten, the -regen is up for ~14% of the time, petty compared to Radiation Emission. Any end bugs in it that ppl are saying should be fixed.
Imbalances between Radiation Emission and Trick Arrow, (or Dark Miasma vs. TA on villain side) are very visible, and only magnified in tight situations, the Lord Recluse Strike Force for instance. If it doesn't get tweaked before the Statesman SF... -
