Justification for Explosive Strike was that it had more of a chance to fire off from every hit that had a kb element to it, than the SoulBound Proc did.
You can replace the 2 Hami-Os in the prot bot with the acc + dam IOs from Blood Mandate, and the Assault Bot 1 with an Acc/Dam from any of the sets, but with a drop in Acc and Dam though.
IIRC the Acc/Dam Hami-Os are pretty cheap though (well they were when I got mine, and they're all 52+) -
This is my general favourite slotting setup for Bots:
Tier 1 Drones:
Full set Blood Mandate
Tier 2 Prot Bot:
2 Acc/Dam Hami-Os
2 Def IOs (buffs bubbles to a total of 11.18% each)
2 Sovereign Right (Acc/Dam/End + Unique)
Tier3 Assault Bot:
1 Acc/Dam Hami-O
3 Soulbound Allegience (Acc/Dam/Rech, Acc/Rech, Dam/End)
1 Edict of Master Unique
1 Explosive Strike Unique (Used to have Soulbound Unique, not noticed that much difference tbh) -

So, I'm a Robotic/Time manipulation Mastermind and I've just noticed how cheap the pet purples are and I am looking at buying the set. And while I'm asking one question, I might ask a few more so...
1) Is it worth getting the MM Purple set?
2) Which pet should I slot it for?
3) Is it worth losing 1 slot in the protector bot for the 7.5% global recharge aswell as having one in far sight and manuvers.
4) For the other two bot sets, any enhancements you suggest?
5) I'm also going to incarnate and wondering which lore pet I should take. My main has a T4 Core Cim which does nice damage, but I'm wondering if any of them give nice debuffs which work well with an MM.

With the launch of the German Shepherd non-combat pet, will this pave the way for a new pet set featuring dogs?
I'm guessing:
Tier1: 3 Pitbulls
Tier2: 2 Dobermans

I managed to sort out this problem on my Fire/Fire/Mace Dominator before the patch, by just changing the mace weapon option and accepting the changes on all 5 slots. This removed the lock and enabled me to properly edit the character's costumes fully

had a bizarre one last night whilst running a hero tip mission in PI. I forget the title of the mission, but its the one where you have to destroy the carnie masks and then save Jason and his soul.
Anyway I'm in the offices section just wiping out a group of carnies (No Vanessa DeVores in the goups I might add - running at x4 on my MM), and I hadn't yet destroyed the box of masks, when all of a sudden I get a windows error message pop up (alt-tabbing me) saying that the game detected that I was playing on the QA Server etc etc (forget the actual wording).
So I click the "Okay" button and promptly get zoned out of the mission, where upon the game crashes before I manage to load back into PI. -
I think the point of the 3rd arc is to get you to use the Midnighter's building from Steel Canyon to Croatoa. Its assuming you have done Montague Castanella's arc, which unlocks at level 10 and allows you into the club.
So I don't think this is actually a bug. I can't remember the 3rd arc dialogue, but I think it should (if it doesn't) mention the Midnighter's Club and doing Montague Castanella's arc to allow safer passage to Croatoa. -

Yes! The e-mail spam time limit filter should not apply to e-mailing to yourself, which is likely 99% of the general use of the e-mail system.
It it such a pain to e-mail 'sets' of IOs around, that...it's almost not worth doing unless it something 'really rare'. -
From what I can recall with bots (I've not been playing my MM all that much because of this), every bot has a habit of randomly running into melee. The Assault Bot tends not to do it so much, the Prot Bots and Droids are more frequent. During long fights with, say for example, a GM, I'm constantly spamming "goto Defensive" or "follow defensive" as 1 or 2 droids will run off into melee after just firing 2 ranged attacks, and 1 of the 2 Prot Bots will run in every 5 or 6 attacks.
Given a short enough time without using any command macros, the entire squad would be in melee range
