We have tried both quitting to login and re-starting game. We are also only receiving one reward message per enemy.

These are fantastic! I have thought for some time that it would be really cool if L50s could "continue earning XP" and when they got the equivalent of "L51" they would get the ding buff. (I know you technically only need 1xp to get to L51, that's not what I mean and yall know it! ;]) This is even better! Even if it has a cool-down of a few DAYS, I still think it's really cool!
And the slash command, HOOOO BOY! FanTAStic!

It's been almost 7 years for me, and I still can't get Boomtown vs Brickstown straight in my head, or Founders Falls vs Faultline. Sitting here right now I know which is which, but when a random mission pops up in one or the other I frequently go to the wrong one.

I'm taking this as confirmation that 2xXP weekend will not be in January, which means I can make myself available to go to AFCEA West for my employer if they so desire. Big IF though, since I don't know how exactly useful I would be, but it would be great experience.
Hmm, I wonder how close Paragon Studios is to AFCEA West.. will have to poke around ^_^ -

Damage, in itself, is not part of the reward criteria. Otherwise, we'd have situations where Scrapper vs. Defender would almost always yield smaller rewards for the defender.
The guys who built the scoring system have gone to extreme lengths to ensure that everyone who is actively participating gets a fair share of the rewards. -

The third respec is all well and good, but it's taking me 4 or 5 respecs to sort out my main build on some toons, let alone the others. I never thought I'd say this as a 78 month vet, but I've used all my vetspecs on some toons.
There are some builds where I planned on using a respec or two to remove a few IOs I slotted at level 30, but now in addition, maybe because I got some extra defence from the alpha slot, I want to take out 3 (valuable) sets that gave me extra defence and slot 3 sets of purples instead. 3 freespecs is not enough. -

It is possible to get these things, but I know how fast you have to be sometimes, it's driven me to frothing mouth in the past, but this time, I guess people just weren't trying hard enough! -
I think (as others mentioned) it's more akin to radio show contests where they say the 93rd caller will win something. Who knows if they actually reward the 93rd caller or the 193rd? But they can keep track of how many calls come in, and show those numbers to advertisers, and say "See how many people pay attention to our show?"
Though I agree that there are a dozen other ways at least to host this kind of contest in a manner that is more obtainable. Then again, the codes do get claimed so the number of people whom they want to win, are winning.
I would love a coralax costume code.. I'll just have to hope I can get ahold of one some other way, some day. -

Please let me point out that I don't think it would be wise, it would be a terrible business decision to do so. Ceasing all free content would cause a lot of players to quit immediately, so I don't think it's something Paragon Studios or NC Soft would pursue. However, all current free content is just that: free. Your monthly fee doesn't pay for it.
As someone in another thread pointed out, you can cancel your subscription for a year, come back, and all the free content that had been released within that year would be available to you. Thus proving that you don't pay for free content with your subscription.
Personally I'm very happy with the current model, and would be distressed to see City become purely a micro-transaction environment. I know it works as a business model, but I like knowing roughly what I'm going to spend per year (just under $145 for subscriptions, and probably $20-30 on boosters/other perks) as opposed to having no idea what my annual expenditures will be. Especially because in my case, I would buy all of it, as I do with all of City's paid content, because I'm a collector and a completist. -
I'd still like clarification from a red-name. I don't want to cancel my subscription. I'm on the one-year auto-renew plan, and I would be happy to purchase another year to get the 2 months free, but I'm not going to cancel my subscription to do it.

I'm sorry the boxes are so small, and I know it looks funky on the screen but it does print okay. I don't really have control over any of this since I used an online generator. Anyway, my Man kinda got me into crosswords, and I am constantly frustrated by all the words I didn't know were words, foreign artists, and actors and singers I've never heard of. So here's a crossword that City peeps should be able to complete without much trouble. Please let me know what you think!

BaBs, Chris, I have already missed your presence on the forums, even as infrequently as I visit them. You've been great to us here in the community, and I am very saddened to hear that you're no longer at Paragon. I wish you the best of luck, especially in this economy.
