  1. That is a good point, I didn't realize you were going to do more then one arch villain lol.

Actually, Martial Arts will have the ability to switch some of it's kicks to punches when Issue 16 debuts as will Super Strength.
  3. I'm not sure if the OP mentioned that they were going to go for invention sets so I'm going to stick with the idea that they're going with common inventions.

I'd focus on getting some defense on your character, taking fighting, manuevers, and combat jumping will help out with some defense.

There isn't much you can do for recharge with common enhancements so that is out of the question.
  4. Broad Sword/Dark is a good combo but not an easy one for a beginner. It is pretty endurance heavy and requires the ability to forsee when you need to use Dark Regeneration. I would focus on getting your endurance under control before anything else.
  5. It has been asked before, Castle has commented on it and seems interested but it would be a ways off before anything like that surfaced. I personally would like to see a non weapon primary something like psychic, radiation, sonic, stone, super strength, energy, and metal melee.

Edit: Also one alternative solution instead of an entirely new power set could be different animations for dual blades. Could be escremas(sp?) or a staff.
  6. Wow that is a really good looking build power, I tried to play around with it but only managed to raise your defense a few decimal points percent higher but nothing really amazing. With Dark's To Hit Debuff I'd say that the soft cap doesn't really matter as much as it normally would but I could be wrong.

  8. I didn't sell anything over the weekend, I cancelled all of my sales and went into buying mode. I'm glad I did because all of the salvage, and recipes have all shot up in price and so have the crafted enhancements so I am making a tidy sum.

I guess it could become one of my favorite toon ever, i need more testing and trying ridiculous things to see its limits... The damage output is so impressive, with a Soul Drain up most of the time I hit 54 Riktis like my Claws/SR hits 51 mobs... Well, I'm back to the RWZ for further "pwnage"... oops I meant for further testing
O man o man I really want to get my dm/sd to 50 already. I'm going to go for broke with this character. I'm going to laugh/cry so hard if castle sees how dm/sd performs and hits it with the nerf bat so hard.

Slowly but surely you will come to the dark side
  11. Two suggests would be to eliminate fly and invisible pool powers and get super speed and leaping and three slot both of them with blessing of the zephyr. I'd also eliminate the darkness pool and pick up the fighting pool.
  12. Bill do you have a link to that picture in your sig?

The only reason why I haven't made an invulerability type hero is because I HATE their animations and graphics.
  13. Here is a build that I was going to make for my fire/sd until he got rerolled as a dm/sd

  14. You should definitely slot them for accuracy and recharge with regular enhancments
  15. I'd love to see radiation melee, Shivans have it so I don't see why not. Also I'd like to see sonic melee, Gold Bricker Lieutenants have it and its similar in animation to super strength but with an added damage resistance debuff.

There is a very good chance you might not play your other scrappers anywhere near as much because of the insane toughness/survivability/damage. Those orange numbers with saturated Soul Drain/AAO are some kind of addicting.

Same goes for tanks in most situations PvE situations.
I am experiencing this first hand and it's kind of sad lol

I tried it on my fire/regeneration scrapper and didn't really find it as useful as I thought it would be. It has a very high endurance cost and it knocks back anything that gets close and considering you are melee, it isn't fun to constantly be chasing your prey.
