Whirlwind
I tried it on my fire/regeneration scrapper and didn't really find it as useful as I thought it would be. It has a very high endurance cost and it knocks back anything that gets close and considering you are melee, it isn't fun to constantly be chasing your prey.

Dark/Shield Build Thread
There's a friend of mine on Champion who plays a ranged Scrapper and has Whirlwind. If it's for concept reasons, knock yourself out, but as far as melee combat goes its about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

A long time ago... prior to IOs but after ED... i played a claws/regen scrapper who was built to have the endurance to run whirlwind almost non-stop. He effectively used it to perma-knockdown level+3 or better bosses while spitting out good DPS. At that time that was doing good for a scrapper. These days, I don't see status effects being all that useful to most scrappers who can pretty much build to stand toe-to-toe with anything including things you can't knock down.
I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
I was wondering if this power could be useful for a scrapper as I am going to take it as concept power.
