    Some people simply call 'Misogyny'. They get more mileage out of griefing their male leads by heaping torment upon their female leads than the other way around. Murder, ****, and other kinds of torture are doled out to be reacted to.

    Barbara Gordon's crippling and subsequent sexual harassment at the hands of the Joker in 'The Killing Joke' solely as a measure to torment Jim Gordon stands out as the most prominent example in my mind, but there are many, many others.

    Certain in-game deaths in the last few pieces of content released seem to focus more heavily upon female characters than male characters. Praetorian Vanessa's death seems rather heroic rather than pointless. She died for the sake of getting the truth out.

    However... Miss Liberty's death (and Manticore's reaction to its possibility) seems rather pointless and plotted solely to grief Statesman and spur him to possibly irrational action in future episodes of 'Who Will Die?'.

    I don't know that this is 'Women in Refrigerators', but I think it may be coming close. Is it intentional on the part of the writers, say purposefully reflecting the phenomenon in comics? Is it simply one of many minor characters who are about to tally their bucket lists?

    That doesn't mean just because its the benchmark it cannot increase its quality. A lot of car company benchmark Honda but their recent iteration of the Civic is bland and has quality issues with it's interior. Honda is now fast tracking the 2013 update for the Civic.

    CoH can use some much needed updating and if they want to really sell items they need to increase the quality of new items for sale. This undead survival kit is sub-par, it is a compilation of items I can get in game fairly easily.

    I want new travel powers, transformations, back items, new powersets, content, etc... Not rehashed and repackaged in game items.
  4. Getting a war wolf is hardly paying to win. That pet dies so easily its not a huge impact on game play. Pay to win would be like say paying to get to 50

    I would take two slots from Fast Healing and Health and use them else where. Getting as close to the soft cap trumps getting more regeneration.

    Your slotting for MoG is different. I'd 3 slot it with two recharge enhancements and a LoTG:7.5.

  9. The ToE proc is a god send. With a 90% confidence interval get 3 to 4 tics of a mob at x8. Buy it, craft it, slot it, profit.
  10. Katana or Broadsword both go well. The layered defense adds a lot of damage mitigation to regeneration.

  20. Made a few changes, mind you I'm no KM expert so I don't know what set bonuses work best for KM. I'd imagine you'd want enough recharge to get PS close to permanent and then use CS to "crit" and recharge PS.

    (For what it's worth, I'm leaning towards the notion that StJ goes best with Willpower, because Willpower gets zilch from recharge bonuses. You can have a more-or-less optimized StJ attack chain on a max-defensive WP character. And! You don't need glowing hands.)

    All of that said, there are flaws, or if you prefer, shortcomings in the set. On a personal level, the biggest surprise has been how much StJ makes me appreciate Martial Arts more.
