I am sure that people would appreciate a few pounds of gold as well, but you still don't do it.

This would be very unbalancing. What happens if a person just buys slots right as they level and applies them to 6 out all of their powers... thus making them unable to slot the next level's slots and therefore unable to proceed with the leveling process.

Also, do we know that the character framework can even support more slots than currently?

Also also, no. No you can not get an amen.

Option 1) I bought the DVD/CD/track/etc from a different retailer.
This just makes you an idiot for paying netflix to view something you already have.

Option 2) I downloaded it online, but also delete them once I stop watching them on netflix.
This one still makes you a pirate, but you also followed the rules. So, still a pirate, but not too bad of one. Or good.

Option 3) I downloaded it online. I don't delete once done with netflix.
Yeah, you're a pirate. Break out the rum and eyepatch.

I have my newsletter thingy turned on.

And I almost never get emails from them. Beta invites, newsletters, announcements, etc... nada. I only found out I was in the Issue 20 beta when I checked the Dev Digest one day and saw that I could see their posts in the CB forums.

Still waiting on Young Justice, if you hadn't guessed.
    This.

Weisman's even said that they have 3-4 episodes fully done and in the can just waiting to be released. Why CN's dragging their feet on it, I don't know.

Why must you ruin the things we love, CN?

  9. I also really enjoyed this. It was a whole lot of fun. Great mythos building and explaining some of the curiosities of the old show.

I'm looking forward to seeing more!
  10. I believe that is a per target deal.
  11. Personally, I'd consider the Batfamily to be much smaller and therefore much more acceptable.

To me, it just looks like you're playing 7 degrees of Batman instead of considering an actual Batfamily.
  12. Hm... this movie has my interest.

Not the actual movie, per se, but more because it begs the question, "At what point does it stop being a 're-imagining' and start becoming 'Just calling it that to build hype'?"

Do they? I don't recall hearing a statement in the shows saying nobody was killed. It's one thing not to mention any collateral casualties... it's another thing to say there are no collateral casualties.
  14. Wait... killing off BAB in the tutorial? When did CoX become a horror movie?

That's because Frenzy is the Villain only Alignment Power. You can only have it if you're a Villain, not a Rogue. Rogues get Duplicity.

There is no information concerning if the FoP are only for those of a villainous slant, but since Rogues can clearly get it as well as Villains, I'd be very surprised if Vigilantes and Heroes couldn't have it as well.

So you're telling me that New MoG and Old MoG are completely antithetical to each other and have nothing in common? Or are we using different definitions of "remotely the same"?

    Quote:
Sure, they share similarities (they buff you),
Oh. Apparently we are since you admit they ARE similar and therefore ARE remotely the same.

    Quote:
but the absolute intent was absolutely nothing alike.
Old MoG was a "god-mode" that also was an instant lose. Sure it ramped up your RES and DEF, but also put you down to a sliver of health and completely shut off your Regen and made it impossible to heal you. It was garbage then and it was a good thing it got changed.

However, again, Regen didn't need the "god-mode" of MoG. Instant Healing was its god-mode. MoG only existed to counter alphas which was what Regen was weak to. New MoG was therefore crafted to do exactly that at a much better rate than Old MoG.

Old school troller pets were meant to be spammed, as they had a set life duration and could be summoned in multiples.
Old Controller pets were meant to be summoned. End of story.

    Quote:
Even Unyielding (which used to root you) could be argued as "the same" even though the design intent was radically different.
In which case you're conflating "design intent" with "power mechanics." The cottage rule is in play over mechanics, not intent.

I could turn this around and say change sonic resonance shields to buff 1% resist each and give 1000% HP regen and I'd get called insane, but the shields still buff resist!
Change it slightly so that RES was still a viable option and you'd be alright. 1% is negligible. 5% or maybe 10% and you'd be perfectly okay to do that.

Powers have been changed to ignore the cottage rule before, even recently (Entropic Shield being the big one atm), and the changes will continue as was shown by EA.
So long as Entropic Aura still provides mez protection, there is no violation.

Null the Gull is not a cottage rule breaker, nor should it be.

    Yes.

Time Manipulation is being released with a new secondary bonus. It's called Patience and makes it so that the more you play the character, the sooner you'll be at 50.

Yes. You can choose to keep the Wolf Spider armor on instead of wearing the Bane Spider armor. As Rajani points out though, if you pick up ANY Crab Spider powers on ANY build, you must wear the Crab Spider backpack at all times.

Also: What looks better as a crab spider? The wolf spider model or bane spider model?
Personally, I prefer the Wolf Spider armor on my Crab Spider. The Bane Spider armor just looks derpy.

    Seriously?

You're going to bring realism up in a forum devoted to a game that involves people flying and shooting balls of fire from their bare hands and going back in time and all sorts of realistic impossibilities.

    Seriously?
  25. Whoa. For a second there, I totally misread that as "Morgan Freeman is looking good as Bilbo".
