  1. I have a question regarding the Weekly Strike Force and double xp weekend. Will the bonus you get at the end of the WSF be doubled for toons under 50 because of the double xp?

    Welcome back Emryss! I have heard that Virtue is a good LBGT server and I know Victory is. You might also want to join the Pride channel as they seem to have a good community.

    I've got something that will help with this. I normally take a screen shot so I know where I had my powers originally, then after the respec, do /cleartray. This will put everything back into your Powers window where you can pull them down instead of trying to shuffle them around.

  5. Pre-Going Rogue, 2 hours in a bugged TF (I don't remember which one). We were on the last mission and had just given up when a GM rolled around asking if we still needed help. I was the only person still in the mission so found that there was one bad guy left stuck 24 feet into a wall. It wasn't coming out and we couldn't even see it to target it to tp it out.

    That being said, my normal wait time is around 15-30 minutes depending on the time of day and day of the week. Fortunately I haven't had to submit a ticket for a bugged mission since Going Rogue came out.
  6. I've been running my Demon/Dark and having a blast! Since you have to get so close to use some of the whip powers, you are close enough to heal your demons easily. I was able to survive one of the new uber ambushes in Praetoria with mine at level 12 thanks to my heals and tar patch!
  7. Me and three friends were playing today when suddenly those of us on the west coast were disconnected from the game. At the same time, we were unable to access the forums or even CoH.com. We were able to get back into the game after a few minutes and the forums were accessible again as well. The only one on the team who was still in the game was located on the east coast. We just had the problem happen again. Any thoughts about what may be occurring to cause this problem?

    Mentor Project

    This is a wonderful idea! I play on multiple servers and try to lend a hand with any questions that come up in broadcast. And there are quite a few now with GoRo releasing! I just signed up to mentor. It's very random what server I'm on each day, but my normal haunts are Liberty, Pinnacle, Champion, and Triumph.

    There is a way to make the messages show it chat. I finally found it after having the same problem. If you edit your chat tab, on the right under Available Channels, you should notice a space between two of the options; somewhere between Arena and Combat Warnings. It is actually the chat for the contacts calling mid-mission, but doesn't have a name so shows as a blank space. Add it to Selected Channels and you should be able to see the messages in your chat window.
  10. Me and a few of my friends are having problems being mapserved approximately every 10 seconds on Pinnacle villain side. The issue seems to be occurring in Sharkhead only. I tried exiting and re-entering the zone and the problem is still happening. None of the other zones seem to be having this problem. We've logged into Praetoria and Hero side and they don't seem to be having a problem either.

  13. I'm having the same problem. Since all my slots on Liberty are full, I transferred 3 toons to other servers and still have their "ghosts" still in the slots. I heard that people have been able to delete the ghost and make a new toon in it's place as long as they use a different name, so I decided to try it with transfers. I deleted one of the ghosts, went to a different server, grabbed a toon I'm ok with losing, and tried to transfer. The transfer isn't recognizing any open slots on Liberty even though I deleted the ghost. So I can transfer toons off of Liberty, but not on to it.
  14. I don't think it's completely fixed. Me and my friends are having problems with Liberty. When we transfer a toon to another server, a ghost of the toon stays on the old server. The name is there, but the toon isn't.

  18. I have run the final Crown of Glory mission at least three times over the past six months. All three times, the mission has been bugged. When you kill Hector, Menelaus is supposed to attack and bring two other bosses with him. Menelaus isn't spawning making it impossible to complete the mission. Each time I have contacted a GM and had the mission completed for me. Since I have been in contact with the GM's, you'd think this bug would have been escalated to be fixed by now.

    This isn't fixed. I just went to Cimerora and was still stuck in the floor. I have tried this with multiple toons and have had the same problem.

    I find that the Abandon Mission feature has great potential. I hate having a level 15 mission selected for a team, end up with a Rikti invasion, add additional higher level team member, and not be able to increase the team level unless the higher level toon has a mission that can be selected. The Abandon feature will allow me to abandon the active mission and give the star to the higher level toon, thus boosting the effectiveness of the team during invasions.

    Another benefit is if you have a mission you'd like to do at your level, but due to teaming you end up a couple levels higher then you were when you selected it. Now you can abandon and reselect the mission so it is at your current level instead of having everything spawn blue and green.
  21. I found an issue. Not sure if it's just on Liberty, but every time someone goes to Cimerora, they end up stuck in the floor under the crystal. /stuck doesn't work. Leaving Cimerora we seem to end up with our heads stuck in the crystal. I have seen this happen to multiple people.

    I've been having the same problem ever since they did the server maintenence on 8/10 and 8/11. I thought it was just me until a couple of rl friends I play with who don't normally have problems started mentioning seeing the same thing.
  24. I have noticed some major bugs since I15 released. Not only are me and my friends having major lag issues, but last night with 3 level 35/36 toons running a level 35 filler mission trying to level, we ended up with 3 level 40 EB's. When we put in a ticket they finished out the mission for us and said they had multiple reports of this happening, but didn't say if they planned on a fix. Anyone else seen anything like this?
