    Well, thing is I find for dual boxing like I do, having the same sets/powers/RECHARGE TIMES makes things easier, but as I said before I am going all /rad (Kin is TOO CLICKY) and a fire and a plant. Or I'll just stick to my Plant/Rad's as Fire seems to be more melee distance and Plant is all ranged, I just wanted the Imps cause I dunno if Fly Trap is any good or if Fire and Plant have any real syngery

    Well actually, I am NOW thinking of switching my team to a fire/rad and plant/rad, I wasn't looking for a "farm" build, rather a team I can FINALLY take to 50.

    Going to have to disagree with others. If you can rely on having SB up all the time, then you absolutely do not need stamina. Slot SB for end mod if you find you need it, though even without that it's still providing more recovery than stamina will. Once you get to transference you'll have so few endurance problems anyway, and those extra power picks will be handy. You can stack leadership for example, or take stimulant for the broader mez protection than ID.

    Air sup will provide you with some extra ST damage that is likely to help through the early levels, particularly for bosses or other tough targets. Once you get into the higher levels you are likely to find that running two fire/kins will require an insane amount of activity and you will likely forget about using the attack in favor of keeping all the buffs and controls going and letting hot feet and imps deal most of the damage.

    ah Excellent, I was hoping it might MIGHT be possible, I was thinking about the leadership pool, at least assault that is. also, I kinda like the stealth power (or should I just get smoke?) as well.

    Yes I only quoted the ONE reply that said it would be possible LOL, only seeing what I want to see much.....

    I picked up Air Sup, I am sure I will either drop it (to get hover at some point) but for now it's fun . and it benefits from containment too, nice Boss killer.
  6. Question is, can all the updates that will need to be done (ie all the new powers and such) be released as a general update so that everyone will have the same one (yes, this is my way of asking someone else to do the updates so I only need apply them)

    Running a Fire/Kin Duo (both will have the same powers) and I am wondering, since I will be able to SB myself, do I really need Stamina at all? keep in Mind I'll be able to hit Transference alot since I'll have 2 of them.

    Ideas?

    Also,

    I prefer Hover/Fly to anything else, and since I am in Melee range all the time would Air Sup. be useful at all?

    I play a duo of Plat/Rad trollers, for the most part it's fun but I do get frustrated when I can't lock down (hold) something and they are able to smash away at me.

    What I mean is this, I usually toss strangler at the "boss" in a mission, now that's 2x at the same time, yet some foes are not held at all, I'm not doing AV's, just normal bosses at the 2nd (for now) difficulty level.

    I would have thought what amounts to a mag 8 hold would do the trick but on some bosses (think Arachno's or however you spell it) it doesn't work, and since I really rely on locking down enemy toons to avoid damage it's really not helpful

    Given that (my toons are only 18 atm) and tossing a RI to floor the ToHit, what else can I do?

    Edit: sorry got the math wrong, 2x Strangler is Mag 6 but still, mag 6 not enough LOL?

    What Zloth said, and I'll add: There's another thread discussing using PingPlotter Freeware and the server's addresses. Do a search for PingPlotter, you'll find it. Use that to ping the servers and you'll probably find that your upsettitude is not to be directed at NCSoft, but at some quirky lil ISP's backbone server you're being forced to jump through. Perhaps trying a different, west (or east, depending) server would alleviate the issue... at which time you'll verify it's the route to the server, not the server itself, that's the cause.

    Without my personal opinion, you need either assult or manuvers to get tactics. Those powers are useful but scrappers get less out of them then say a defender would. Tactics, however dosent have a to hit debuff res. So even though you will be able to see everything and can't be blinded, your tohit can still drop and you will still be slicing at air as if you didn't have it on. Foc acc takes a lot of endurance, about 3 toggles worth, your team won't get the to hit buff like they would with tactics. You only need to hit 41 to get it. It has res to tohit debuffs. So you can pretty much stand in the middle of that Storm shammon's hurricaine and slice up anything you want as long as you can deal with the endurance (conserve power)

    Well, what I could do, is my Perma duo is a Scraper with a Sonic/Sonic fender, so I could get Tactics on her (she has assault already) and get FA on my toon, I'll have QR and Stamina by then anyways.

    What about BF? how should I slot it?

  23. So when I get debuffed (i'm thinking more of the Banished actually) what's my option, other then to wait till they drop their AoE debuff? and should I get Tactics (I said assault before) and FA?

Ok, I'm almost level 30, and I'm using the level 30 SO's, I find that against some things (debuffers) that I miss a Ton, really screws up the combos, so I'm slotting for 96% acc in my attacks (I'm not going the IO route till 35), so that doesn't leave me too much room for dammage or EndRedux.

    How much is enough? and should I consider taking Assault or FA later on?

    I'm playing on the 2nd hardest level BTW to get the most spawns.

    Any idea what I should shoot for ACC wise? can I get it over 100% (in this case I mean the % above the default acc) with IO's and is there any point?
