I was only familiar with the term "Wartroller" as a Warshade that focused on powers that controlled the enemy... Any other usage is totally new to me...

I got mine to 14 so far, and I am looking at the Leadership toggles. In game and on Red Tomax, it says they all burn the same endurance .195. Is that true? I could swear years ago my Defenders had to slot tactics with 2 End and the others with one...

How would you slot them? ( generic IO or SO slottings, thanks)

Anyone else running a FF/DP want to share tips tricks or Horror stories?

I am just about to build a FF/DP defender ( because I can't do it as a Corruptor)

By any chance would anyone have an SO/Generic IO leveling build? It is rare for me to find a team farming or PLing AE, so for most characters I level slow, buying what I can as I can.

It is really a shame that the current trend on the forums is to post fully leveled to 50+ builds all IO'd out! ( ie.. combat jump needs only one slot so in the build it is taken at lv 49... when in reality that character took it at lv 6 and loved it!)

I would love to see the trend of posting finished builds abate and a return to a series of builds you can use as you go.. a road map, if you will...

If you have ever in your life plugged in a lamp, inserted a video game cartridge in a video game console, and also ever tightened a screw using a screwdriver you can follow Father Xmas' directions to make your own gaming rig.

Seriously.. it is very easy.

Somethings plug into a socket, like a lamp, TV or Blender.
Others slide into a slot, like an old Atari cartridge.
Also, you need to use a screwdriver.

You can do it.

I am writing this on a Father Xmas $1200. ( The old price point, 11 months ago...)

The machine works wonders, all Ultra mode settings maxxed out in Praetoria 8x AA 16x AF at 1680x1050 resolution 60 fps ( I use VSync.)

I had bad luck with Corsair PSUs, had to replace 2 before I bought an Antec 750 instead and it is still working great.

MOST IMPORTANTLY Father Xmas was kind enough to write an entire assembly process available here on the forums!!!

I suspect T_Immortalus did not understand what you mean by a leveling vs a lv 50 build.

Level 50 respec builds most often take powers available in the first 14 levels such as travel powers and minor pool powers such as recall friend last. Simply because it does not matter anymore when you take them, especially if they only require one or two slots. This works great if you are already 50.

A leveling build takes powers as soon as the important ones are available, so you can use them as you level!

I myself would love to see more non IO leveling builds on the forums...

Rogues and Villains can use their specific Alignment powers, too.

If the idea of causing fear or confusion fits your character, this is a role playing reason.

Spelling the words "The" "Epic" and "Squad" correctly has been shown to lower temperatures on most rigs...

My Citybinder folder has 2,283 Files, in 16 Sub Folders however...

Is there a specific file or series of files I should do the find and replace on?

I love CityBinder and have used it for years, even back when all I had was Speed on Demand!

One problem I could use some help with though, is even after I updated, it still spits "rebind text" into my chat channel every time I touch a movement key. ( I use tab 2 of the chat window.) Is there a way to stop this? I did copy over some LUA files as instructed once, but maybe I put them in the wrong spot?

Any help would be appreciated...

By any chance do you use a program called SpeedFan?

It will show you all your individual fan speeds and temps.
Also check the ATI Overdrive tab in the CCC make sure you do not have "enable manual fan control" checked, and the speed dragged way down. Sounds silly, but check.

Tearing and artifacting to me often means overheating...

If you can or care to, open the case, and direct a small desk fan into it and let that run for 5 minutes or so. Load up the game and see if that solved it.
