The whole laptop dying and having to get another computer kinda put a kink in my plans to attend this year.

As with all other things, I will be at work so my characters will be at their respective day jobs and unable to assist Kadabra Kill.

I've not seen anyone mention it but make sure that you are contacting NCsoft through the Support page and clicking on the 'Ask a Question' tab to start a support ticket. Your first response is usually an automatically generated "Thanks for your inquiry, we'll look into it." email.
To respond to any questions they have, go to the 'My Stuff' tab and update your ticket. Do not start a new ticket. Or you can respond through the email, just remember to put your reply comments between the green lines. -
You'll usually see a lot of activity in the Global Channels as well. I highly recommend joining several.

I could see it being more like the Pillar of Ice and Flame, but built into an Arachnos Flyer / Longbow Chaser.
Cool idea but with the options already available for transporting (in-base porters, O-portal, market, mission, booster pack) I don't see it happening. -

Seeing as how you're running a solo-SG, it also isn't necessary to install all the TP pads. As long as you have the SG Beacon badges, you can swap the beacons as you need them to get where you want to go.

I can't speak for Flickr or ImageShack, but PhotoBucket will give you an option called Direct Link. That's the one you'll want to copy and paste into the box for your avatar. -
And ignore the 'Upload Image' button, you cannot upload images. Use the [IMG][/IMG] tags. Photobucket, Flickr, Imageshack, etc will give you those options, or you can use the 'Insert Image' button (looks like landscape with a yellow background.)

Yes, the team search shows people who are in missions or SG bases. However, it won't show you anyone who has Hidden from search (obviously). Also, bear in mind that an unknown number of people will be over on the Test server, in the closed Beta for Dual Pistols, and a lot of those might well be the kind who would have been on early afternoon on a Sunday.
Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself so far, though. And I'd say it was worth biting that bullet. But then, I'm biased
And to Dave, until the end of the month, you also have the option to Transfer you character to another EU server and check them out, as opposed to creating a new character on those servers.

I feel that it is necessary to take stamina on SOME of my characters, particularly if they are running a lot of toggles. I d not feel that it is necessary to take Stamina on ALL of my characters.
Putting Stamina on my Kin would be like taking the Medicine pool on an Emp. -

A much simpler solution would be to NOT load the entire market when you click on a Rep. How about load nothing until you click on a category.
On my laptop with 2Gigs of RAM I dreaded going to WW, especially after playing for an hour or two. My 8Gig desktop doesn't have any issues. -

No idea why that's happening. I'd ask Bill Z Bubba but I've not seen him post in a while. Perhaps one of the other resident guru's can give us a clue.

Catalyst 10.1 solved all of my graphics issue. No more artifacting, messed up textures, ghosting of one part of the screen to another., or crashing. YAY!
Although as pointed out in this thread, at least one person has said that Properties are still showing 9.12 after unstalling/Drive Sweeper (in Safe Mode)/ installing new. I am at work so cannot check my machine to see if it is doing the same thing.
