I usually, uninstall my drivers, restart into Safe Mode, run Driver Sweeper, restart and then install the new drivers.
I have yet to have glitches come up when doing it this way, disregarding messed up drivers from the ATI/nVidia. -

Chocolate Gravy
Yes, I said Chocolate Gravy. (It's ah suthun thang.)
Milk - I grew up with canned milk being used, but any milk will do. Anything like soy or almond milk, you're on your own. How much? Good question. This is how I measure it. Get out a 1qt sauce pan, pour the milk in until where the spot you are pouring it, no longer shows the bottom. (Picture for demonstration purposes below.) If I had to guess I'd say between 1½ to 2 cups.
Put on burner at medium heat.
In a medium bowl combine:
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 HEAPING* tablespoon** powdered cocoa
Salt (about 1/8th teaspoon)
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all dry ingredients until blended.
Add vanilla
Add cold water and mix until dry and wet ingredients are combined and the chocolate is a thick syrupy consistency. I turn my faucet on until it's just a stream coming out and add a little at a time so as to not make it overly thin.
You may sample at this point. I use a heaping tablespoon of cocoa because I like the finished product being a little on the biter side. You may start with less cocoa, or at this point add some more sugar, and possible a little more flour.
Have a wisk handy.
If the milk is soon to be boiling over, perfect, pour in the chocolate syrup (I scrape the bowl with the spoon) then stir with the wisk.
And keep stirring. It may lump on the bottom, stirring will smooth it out, once it does, turn down the heat to low and stir occasionally.
About 5 minutes, stirring occasionally it should be the consistency of gravy. Sometimes it's a little thin, other times it's almost pudding thick. The taste is really the only thing that matters.
Best served with open-faced, hot, buttered biscuits, but toast will do as well. Granted, I'm weird, I put it on my scrambled eggs.
*When I mean heaping, I mean that no more can physically be piled up on the spoon.
** When I mean tablespoon, I mean one of the spoons your brother would used to eat cereal, not the wimpy ones labeled 1tbsp

Initially, they do not have access to anything beyond Local, Team, and Help. If they purchase enough Paragon Points to get Paragon Rewards, they can eventually gain access to Tells and Globals.Quote:Originally Posted by Madadh

And if you announce the DfB trial in a global channel, I've heard of 2 or 3 groups almost instantly forming.
I broadcasted in Atlas Park that I was Q'd for a sewer trial, got a tell from someone that they would join me. I responded "Awesome, just queue through the LFG tab and we'll start as soon as we have enough. "
I then broadcasted again that folks who can't send tells can join the Death from Below by Q'ing through the LFG tab. It was probably a 5 minute wait total from when I first broadcasted. I think it will go down as long as people spread the word that you can join the DfB through the LFG tab.
Had someone on the team that had been gone for a couple of year and had just re-subbed in the last week, so far he was loving the new stuff. -
Aside from available chat channels to F2P users, there is also the LFG function. Mentioning that in broadcast along with the recruiting for the trial would have allowed them to join.
This method worked quite well during Beta and many of the players actually recommended this method when people would load in and broadcast/local "lf sewer trial". -
I think Shadow Ravenwolf was referring to the Calendar up in the Announcements section. You used to be able to click on that and see the birthdays during the month, of forumites that provided one in their UCP.
The birthday cake under the avatar of birthday celebrants went away when we shifted to vBulletin. I remember a reason being given at the time, though I don't recall what it was. -

I have one on Protector, Fulmens. Been waiting for you to do another prestige matching thread.
While the three of us in it are not new players, it is a new SG. We're at about 150k Prestige right now. -
I found that backing all the way out of the Custom Character Creator and going back in solved this issue for me.
On the common costume pieces is that on a new character, or on a current one you are trying to edit? I saw another thread about that in particular, likely because of new items added causing the lists to have a different order now. -
