Can anyone point me to a good driver cleaner? having trouble finding something in here and on the net.

Hey, thanks for the quik replies guys I'll get on that. I remember BillZ used to recommend uninstalling all instances of my driver before running the cleaner, course this was years ago. Is this still necessary?

EDIT: It actually says on both of those links that it has been discontinued. Any other thoughts?

You can also get it from Major Geeks.

I do much of my downloading of utilities from there.


If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

A couple of years back, I paid $9.99 for Driver Cleaner Pro.

I have used it successfully for a long time now and it has helped keep my old putersaurus running well. I have also heard good things about the free Driver Sweeper, but never tried it. Either way, removing all tracess of the old driver is the way to go, as leving bits behind could be causing conflicts.
