Quote:Hickman set the precedent of using he rule of three. For example, to summon Hickman usually requires writing Hickman three times in the post. This sounds like a job for Arcanaville.
...
...
That usually works for summoning the hero in the comics...
Of course, you clould also try posting terms like "Defense Mechanics" or "Has Accuracy been Nerfed (Again)?" -
Quote:If you're not showing a chat log, at least give the approx. time it was going on, and time zone to enable them to find it in the server's chat logs.3. If they start again with the same character, /petition them. Title "Harassment," in the body give the global, the character name, and give the info you wrote down before about when you told them to stop (and that it's happened before.) (Having chat logs on can help - but whether you have them on or not doesn't matter, support will have access to their own.)
Yes people, if you type it in and hit send, the server DOES save a copy of your chat.
I'd vote for Blaidd Drwg but I like the character of Rose Tyler. Still think they need a companion who ends up saying "I expected it to be bigger on the inside" to mess with the Doctor. -
Quote:As I recall, the VIP part of Tier 9 is auto-awarded, but I could be mistaken.I'm still surprised more people are not concerned that all of the non-VIP tier 9 rewards can only be taken on one character (although you could take it multiple times on the same character). Then again, I guess that only affects Premium players as VIPs would just choose from the VIP Tier 9 list.
I guess the true reward for Tier 9 VIP players is playing the game for free, which is a pretty huge reward really.
However, this is the full system, but the tokens never stop coming - so you can re-select the consumable rewards -
You might remember it as the Rikti Crash Site.
It is (now) available via the Vanguard Depots (V symbol on map) - Hero side they are in Atlas Park, Founder's Falls, and Peregrine Island. Villain side, I can only recall Grandville.
It is a Co-op zone, so villains and heroes can team up in it. -
Quote:My favorite is not believing Positron - while he is no longer Lead Developer, he is still one of the games leading developers.Okay, let me get this straight in my head... You don't believe forum posters with reputations that they can be trusted to provide accurate information. The same posters backing up their statements with multiple official references. Yet you expect people to listen to you? The amount of chutzpah (and not in a good way) in your post is astounding.

Von Krieger doesn't sound that English-wordy to me :P
And it's not exactly a scientific endeavor to find exceptions in English either.
EDIT : Also, it says there are "powers" not "powersets" in the T9 rewards - namely things like the unslotters, etc - all which can be bought in the store as well. -
Quote:Uh oh,apparently Positron has been disavowed by Paragon Stduios! Run posi before the "cleaning crew" comes for you!Except I'm not asking whether or not they'll have to be purchased in the Paragon Store; I already know that, as I've already read that thread in its entirety, and watched all of the UStreams.
The point which HASN'T been clarified - by anyone affiliated with NCsoft or Paragon Studios - is whether or not they will only be purchasable by those who have unlocked T9 rewards, which would essentially mean that a new subscriber would have to pay $500+ in order to gain access to the powersets.
New signature story arc - who got Posi disavowed by the FP and why? -
It is NOT speculation. I can't recall where it is, but if you review Von Kreiger (sp?) UStream summaries and the ComicCon info threads, you will find it. The posters who told you are all good in their reporting. If it was speculation they would of said so. Zombieman especially.

To be fair, the "This tall" is purely for safety - you can get hurt if you don't fit the rides right.

Quote:For the first, more regen. For the second, more defense as IIRC WP has no DDR.So, how would WP counteract -regen and defense debuffs before alpha slot abilities?
One other thing - one of WP's main defenses is RttC - if you get one massive hit of mez - enough to mez you for even a secon - RttC goes down. And it does happen. And that's because of it's foe debuff making it not a suppressing toggle unlike Inv's taunt aura. -

Main issue with the CoT revamp is it changes the feel of the group. That is what was bad - the costumes themselves looked fine.

Quote:Actually, that's the kind of thing vacation is for - if you can't relax while playing this game, maybe it's time to change the game you play. Its fun reading through the comments on here about dxp being moved..... I find it interesting that people are so "dedicated" to a game that they are willing to take vacation time and/or exchange a work day.....
The reason that I say its fun, is simply this.... Folks are lashing out like this is going to be the last dxp weekend ever and how dare the Devs/Paragon Studios reschedule this.... To those that work and are complaining about this.... Grow up! -

Quote:It doesn't work for me. I'm they only one they can usually get to cover my kind of shift! Although, as long as you're honest about being only "Hey, I'm sick, *fake cough*" my place is obliging.Agreed. Too many people nowadays lack any discernible trace of a "work ethic".
Anyone who can actually say "just a job", even in a humorous context is simply someone bucking for and extended bout of unemployment.
In the last 20 years, I've been out of work once. For a year. It completely trashed my savings. And I NEVER want that to happen again.
Quote:Well first....ewww at all the folks attacking people b/c they are inconvenienced by the change.
To those that arranged time off and it got changed on them, I feel your sorrow. I understand how hard it can be to get time off. My guess the biggest reason this got delayed when the issue was found is SDCC - It's Wednesday and the devs might not all be back yet, even. -
It would only approach the 95% to-hit cap if the debuffs were of sufficent duration to stack that much.
Also, regen IS a big part of how both would survive if just because, depending on the attacks, a lower regen is needed for the Inv to counter what damage does hit. -
Quote:I think it relates in part to the fact you can set the report rate - which you generally set higher for games. Mind you, I rarely use the power button, so I can't be totally sure how long the battery lasts.Am only asking because my Logitech MX1000 even after 3 years heavy usage (it was my main mouse) could last the best part of 2-3 weeks without recharging... and even now 5 years down the line still lasts a week between charges
((I actually swapped that one out because i started having issues with its laser and not tracking properly, again intermittent, but still often enough to annoy)) -
I think they are asking for trail/path auras that only activate when in flight. Like we have the rocket and piston boots that have special effects only when flying and jumping respectively.
-
It can go a couple days without recharging - more, depending on your usage and if you recall to turn it off when not in use (simple button on the underside).
Compared to other rechargeables, it's probably noticeable only because you have to plug it in, vs drop in a charging cradle. -
I've the G700 - there is ONE button that isn't mappable, but toggles the scrollwheel between clicking and frictionless scrolling
-
Also, others have had luck with leader always entering in last.

Quote:You're missing out. There's music in this game??? Turned it OFF on day one 7 years ago and never listened to a note of it since then. They can change it all they want and I'll never know the difference.
New computer didn't have it turned off and I've enjoyed all of the new stuff in praetoria, for example. -
Quote:Glass house; bricks; anything ringing up there? Because this:I have no issue with it being moved, I am just saying it should be moved a bit farther out to allow people to plan accordingly.
Oh and thanks for the snark, that's always soooo constructive on forums.
Comes out just as snarky if not more than what I posted. In addition, nowhere did you say they should move it out further.
The developers and the CSR folks read the boards. That's why we get replies in threads. They look through them to see if there are concerns they need to address - such as the question about incarnate drops. And as developers of a popular game they definitely know their decisions effect others. Really, if you want to talk like that to someone, if you're in the US, direct it at those "No tax increase" pledgers (Cutting NPR because it costs too much for what it does@ less than 200K a year, but not wanting to cut oil subsidies to companies making record profits isn't worth the effort because "it's only 3 billion") -
