Quote:The reserve period is about five to ten minutes, I think - it might be indefinite as long as you are connected and in the character creation. The new character creation screens allow you to check to see if a name is available before you even make any choices about the character.
Down at the bottom of the screen, type in the ame you might want, and click that magnifying glass. If the name is available, the game will reserve it for you so that you can take your time in character creation, and make the costume you want now.
Note if you have multiple accounts, and use one to check for a name, make sure to check for another name before going back to the other account to use the name. Otherwise the reserve will still be in effect for about 5-10 minutes. -

OMG, somehting not the same as an old set!
Staff combines easy dual blades ( no set combo patterns, just two attacks that consume "perfection (your combo points) if you have three levels of it when you use them, and a Dual Pistols style attack-affecting toggle set up.
Titan weapons is very fun, lots of AoE.
Beam Rifle is fun to me. Not necessarily a huge performer (although, having other beams on your team definitely increases it's effects).
And as far as what you have access to for free because of being a former payer
www.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards
And the "Tier bonuses" just require you have X tokens, no need to actually slot them - so you can just peek at the total listed at the top of the paragon rewards screen when you look at it in game.
Also, free and premium players (Prem = free player that has spent money on the game at some point previous) cannot do anything other than look at the SSG list at the SG registrar - no creating new SGs or new bases; No paying rent either (note you can have a VIP in your SG do that for you- some people will offer to join your sg for a moment to pay rent for you.) -
Quote:Only catch being this seems to also hit ATOs.Also:
Enhancement settings > Set Relative Levels > +5.
There is a setting in the top bar of the program that will let you set the relative levels of all your slotted enhancements at once. You should be able to find it yourself. The setting you want is "Enhancement Relative Levels" -
Rouges count as villains for Ouro and anything else that is has different things for villains and heroes.
Same with vigilantes and heroes (such as the valentine missions).
One thing about Epic PPs - other than the Epic ATs, all ATs get access to APPs starting at 35.
All AT except HEATs can open Patron PPs at 35, as long as they are a villain or a rogue, and do the unlock arc from a patron. Once unlocked it's yours to keep, even if you go hero. -
Quote:Yeah, been meaning to work on IO'in my Necro MM out more, to slot the RIP globals in there.A nice thing about Thugs/ and Demons/ (maybe also necro, haven't bothered to check) is they can slot all the pet aura procs, including the recharge intensive pet procs. This means all your pets would have an additional 25% defense to all, and 30% resistance to all (with the non-catalyzed 2nd MM ATO proc, probably at least 35% res to all with the catalyzed version).
With a secondary like /Traps, that means all your pets would be softcapped to everything, even if they have zero innate defense (Bots/ have the bubbles they cast). I'd lean more towards Demons/ in that case, since they grant res shields, which wouldn't be wasted against the majority of enemies (ones that don't have +tohit or -defense).
Of course, once you have enough survivability that you're not struggling to survive, any additional survivability is likely coming at the expense of increased performance.
And MMs don't have ATO procs! -
Oh, who was it that brought the MLP to the pummit?
One of the marketing types I think...
(It was a prop for a bad joke, but he had the thing.) -

Quote:To be fair, the casino one (for one) wouldn't make sense. And since it's the two movies are chained together for one event...And this is why I'll not be doing this event.
(for those that have difficulty interpreting comments, the / text that follows is put there just for you, as is this explanation)
/sarcasm
I'm so glad that they've decided that forced teaming is required for any new events.
/endsarcasm -
Currently, the only real restriction left on using the LFG queue to start soemthing is that all teammates must be in the same zone. So if you are not teamed, or are simply in the same league, you can join via the LFG queue from any zone.

Quote:*Looks up, Looks down*You don't even read other peoples' posts, do you? Just enough to "back up" what you're saying, and then ignore the rest?
Quote:I apologize if that is the impression you got.
I actually didn't read very far into your post besides that because that is all I wanted to comment on. That happens. In fact, I just did it for your most recent post.
Don't take offense; I meant none.
Try not just read a small part of a post and then comment on it and it alone; context is very important and (as above) you could miss something in the rest of the post that changes the meaning. -
I doubt any existing powers are getting absorb added. It's one of "special shticks" of Bio Armor and Nature Affinity. They are adding absorb to the heal recipes because either a) Absorb already goes off heal and they want to make it clear, or b) because they don't want to add another category of IO recpies.

Quote:It probably wouldn't be impossible to do, but it likely would not be absolutely trivial either.
The game saves an overall "image" of the state of the character record as you're logging off. As far as we know it can only currently do this as a final "clean-up" activity while logging off. There's probably no current way to log the state of the toggles -while- you're actively playing. The data structure maintaining that info may only exist in the character record stored on disk.
So they'd have to come up with a way to keep track of that info dynamically as you're playing. This would add to the overall info they'd need to maintain in memory about your character while it's being played which is something that might not be as easy as it would seem. You'd instantly run into extra server bandwidth issues if nothing else.
Bottomline we should probably assume that if something like this was easy to do they probably would have already considered it.Quote:I hesitate to guess how easy it would be, but the logoff change does indicate it's possible.
More likely that the team would make newer, more expensive travel powers that do this and possibly offer (paid) upgrades for the existing ones.
If I'm not too mistaken about how the mechanics work, they could add in a new disallowed/disable mode and have it disable clicks, and suppress toggles. But that, while "easy" would be a lot of work actually adding in the flag(s).
Main issue is if a how attached to mez only is the toggle suppression tech. -
At the pummit, they said they would be startin g this, that they'd put a item ont he market for a day that would be free.
We got, what, 2 days notice? Yeah, it's a kind of hype-y PR piece, but I don't see the build-up. -
cohtitan.com -> Red Tomax's Guides -> City of Data -> Power Quantification
When you look at Shadow Field it links to two different pets, one for Domination, one without. Scroll down for effects. It's hold period is a lot shorter than most other aoe holds. -
They must have access to the episode you are running of an SSA to run it with you. This means some premiums can - they can buy access in the market.

Quote:Cause Oprah would give out something like $50+ to that many people, and write it off as PR.What connection does watching Oprah have with this subject?
I remember when she bought a new car for everyone who attended the taping of one season's opening episode... -
Ditto. I'd try asking support. Just make sure you are reading the card correctly.

AMD regulary breaks the compatibility. However, if you check the tech sections (also an All Access section like Player Qs here) there is a list of AMD drivers and how they work for people.
I seem to recall at least one of the 12.X drivers work fine for (most) people in CoH. -
Quote:To be fair, you talk about withes and wizards, I think "HA! The wizard is screwed if anyone was doing the floors".Sexist! Are we not enlightened? Can't ANYONE use a big staff?
That, and wizards aren't real and there's no actual rules. Unless they're KKK wizards, at which point let's not talk about that.
Soapy Lemon Water for the win.
That, and apparently brooms don't trigger draconian allergies, unlike wizards and/or their staves. Cause Fire-sneezes are killer on the epidermis. -
Quote:They know this. And as far as Freebie Fridays : As Hit Streak said :You've probably heard this already, but since there are so many rednames on this thread, I'll repeat it:
Freebies are nice, but a feature for the Market I'd really like to see is showing if you've already bought a given item. (At present, the only way I know of doing this is attempting to purchase it again.)

From everything I've heard, turning off Buff info helps greatly on limited bandwidth.
