I believe the main issue was how the animations would interact with NPCS of non-standard shapes and/or sizes. The MM set will probably have some simple strikes, not the complicated stuff poeple would expect in a full set.

Depends who I am teamed with - either way, better also have fallout (if available)

Quote:The extra floating power trays have no corded shortcuts.I've been playing CoH for almost a month now and have a question about the accessing the different power trays through keystrokes. As my toons level and get more powers, I've needed to use the 2nd power tray. Are these trays accessible by keystroke? I have a Logitech G15 keyboard and would like to assign some of my most used powers to the function keys, but Shift+ the number or Cntrl Shift + doesn't seem to work. Seems very inconvenient to have 9 power trays available and your only option is to spread them around your UI and mouseclick.
However, your 2nd and 3rd trays that come off the first (via the little up arrow at the rightmost end next to the buttons for the enhancement and inspiration trays) react to the control and alt keys (IIRC, Alt is second tray, control 3rd). If you haven't changed what tray is in the 2nd and 3rd, then it would be on 1 (the default) and not differ from what you have on your main power bar.
Shift + # auto selects the matching teammate (Notice the little numbers by your teammates names in the team window?) -

You can also do something along the lines of :
/bind w "+forward$$powexecauto Practiced Brawler"
/bind s "+backward$$powexecauto Hasten"
That will change it to auto PB on the forward key, and Hasten on the backward key.
You could get "tricky" and work it so hitting forward also loads a new bind, causing it (W for Forward) to cycle between having forward be auto for Practiced Brawler, then Hasten, and back, etc. -
Quote:If that happens, bug it. Not saying they will fix it this time, but it should get fixed for next year.Unless the GM appears on top of the drones at the AE building and nobody gets anything for 20 minutes of beating stuff up.

Either way, it doesn't take up any room other salvage could use. -
IIRC, doing Naylor's shadowshard missions should award the Rularuu Unlockables without having to farm overseers.

The other half being split between red and blue lasers, we know!
Me to, and several others. -
one thing about the healer - it uses an AoE form of Twilight grasp, so the more in melee range of the healer the more it heals.

www.repeat-offenders.net
They have themes like Green Machine or Pinball Wizards (All Emp/ defender and any Kin SGs respectively) and Fast and the Furious (Brute/Kin SG).
They also have things like the Paragon Noir group/project (old SG getting a restart) - the main "preq"/request when you participate is to have a grayscale costume to give that ol' Film Noir feel. Also have the Quick and the Dead, a Wild West themed SG. Check out the site or join the Repeat Offenders global

Due to abuse of that proc in Speedboost, it no longer affects players.
Specifically on the Ski Slops during the winter event.
If it's not in an attack, it's only use is for the set bonus. -
Quote:Not all of them, IIRC.As an additional note to this. If the story arc gives a temp power it will give a less powerful version of this temp power if you have already received it once before.

Quote:Yeah, the diminishing returns (this happens on all reduction of durations/times/vaules, which includes Mez Resistance [vs. Protection] and Endurance Reduction) in the game works like this:Well, there *is* a diminishing returns on Recharge in the sense that as you keep applying Recharge reductions, you're applying them to a value that is getting increasingly smaller and thus your reductions are getting increasingly smaller (compared to the *initial* value).
However, there *is not* a diminishing returns in the value of the reduction. A certain percentage of Recharge Reduction, say for example, 50%, is always a 50% reduction. So, in that sense, there is no diminishing returns for a recharge reduction (compared to it's *previous* value).
a +100% recharge reduction (total) would basically divide the base recharge by half (1+1.00), +200% would divide it to a 1/3 (1+2.0) etc. -
Quote:First of all, insults are against the rules."Um.. wow, thanks. Usually I just get neg rep'd in these sort of discussions. "
Yeah, well, you see....if you actually read my stuff instead of just jumping all over my @#$% because you're some forum snob turd thing that lives here - you see that a) I love the game, b) ask thoughtful questions (sorry if I didn't read thousands of pages returned by a crappy search engine to make sure my question was original first), and c) can admit without ego when I've made a mistake or had my mind changed by a good argument.
It's funny: I have not been here in some time - and the same folks that turned me off to these forums back then, are still at it. I'm glad they have something to distract them; it probably reduces their negative impact on the real world.
Second of all, the search engine here is actually pretty good (the old one was decent, if you knew how to use it). -
Quote:Three stores had exclusive pre-order bonuses - the fourth was for any other store doing pre-order. Other than discs with wallpapers and such (and the pre-order code on the disc sleeve), the pre-orders came with no physical extras. The Hero-Clix were always in the main box.I don't believe so. I haven't seen preorders in it yet, and I'm pretty sure the CoV preorder was only available from one of four actual retailers, each of which offering a different in-game helmet. Preorders seem to be deals made with the vendors, themselves, not with PlayNC directly.
As well, most preorders I've seen tend to ship with physical items in the box, like Hero Clix figures or what have you. I don't know, I don't care much for these things. That, and the CoV preorder actually came with a special code in the box that gave me a 3-day head start. I asked my brother to pick it up for me at the time, he lives in the US. That won't happen this time around.
Of course, if there IS a preorder in the PlayNC store, I will preorder without a second thought. It's as simple as that.
Account active from Aug 15. to Nov. 15 no lapses.
You'll get early access to load the game anyway (based on past experience). The clients have to match what the server has, and GR will no doubt be big enough for a pre-download anyway. -
Quote:There is a diminishing return on recharge, however :Awesome.
Now - is the total reduction overall subject to diminishing returns - that is, add the Enhancements plus Hasten's benefits, then apply the Enhancement Diversification effects ...
...or...
Do you calculate the recharge time with just the Enhancements, and then reduce that already-modified time with Hasten?
(Thanks for the quick answer, BTW.)
(Note that I'm not interested in the math or the "not a good idea" vs "done all the time" elements. I'll work those out myself.
)
ED applies ONLY to the enhancement from Enhancements.
Not to buffs like Hasten, or set bonuses.
IIRC, the forumla for recharge is Time/(1+[Recharge buffs from any source + Enhancemnets after ED)]
So if you have three recharge SOs, that's roughly 96% after ED, and hasten is 70%, that adds up to 1.66 - add 1 for the base recharge and you get 2.66, so your final recharge for that power would be Original Time/2.66 - so if it had a 1000 second recharge rate, it would be down to 376, roughly. Cap is 500% recharge (so 200sec. recharge on a 1000sec base recharge power.). 1000seconds is the recharge for some T9s like elude - and they general last 180sec, thus preventing perma. -

If you have the patienence for it, and whatnot, leveling up via runnng up /facing soth the Atlas globe and leveling from the Top Dog badge is cool.

With Dr. Aeon there to be our man all things AE, it's a good bet that will be so.

Actually, if the test went fine (I know some people are hoping for another tweak or two) for the Halloween event, today's patch is the last one before the event, if I am not mistaken.

Quote:Ad/image blocking prevents the named image from loading - period. Doesn't matter how it's introduced to the page.Nothing in the CP about it. I don't know the name of the image to block; when the new forums first showed up I did look, but couldn't find it. I imagine it's buried in the style sheet somewhere? But even if I had the name/location, I don't know if it would work since it's in a style sheet?

Last I heard, they still had not fixed the leveling while exemplar'd issue of getting no notice you leveled. So I recommend against exemplaring for hitting fifty.
