Hasten question

Alright, I'm pretty new to this game, so pardon if I describe something wrong.

If I slot a power with a Recharge Reduction enhancement, does this "stack" with Hasten? Will the Recharge Reduced power recover even faster under Hasten than the same power without the Recharge Reduction enhancement?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Awesome.

Now - is the total reduction overall subject to diminishing returns - that is, add the Enhancements plus Hasten's benefits, then apply the Enhancement Diversification effects ...

...or...

Do you calculate the recharge time with just the Enhancements, and then reduce that already-modified time with Hasten?

(Thanks for the quick answer, BTW.)
(Note that I'm not interested in the math or the "not a good idea" vs "done all the time" elements. I'll work those out myself. )

There is a diminishing return on recharge, however :

ED applies ONLY to the enhancement from Enhancements.

Not to buffs like Hasten, or set bonuses.

IIRC, the forumla for recharge is Time/(1+[Recharge buffs from any source + Enhancemnets after ED)]

So if you have three recharge SOs, that's roughly 96% after ED, and hasten is 70%, that adds up to 1.66 - add 1 for the base recharge and you get 2.66, so your final recharge for that power would be Original Time/2.66 - so if it had a 1000 second recharge rate, it would be down to 376, roughly. Cap is 500% recharge (so 200sec. recharge on a 1000sec base recharge power.). 1000seconds is the recharge for some T9s like elude - and they general last 180sec, thus preventing perma.

Well, there *is* a diminishing returns on Recharge in the sense that as you keep applying Recharge reductions, you're applying them to a value that is getting increasingly smaller and thus your reductions are getting increasingly smaller (compared to the *initial* value).

However, there *is not* a diminishing returns in the value of the reduction. A certain percentage of Recharge Reduction, say for example, 50%, is always a 50% reduction. So, in that sense, there is no diminishing returns for a recharge reduction (compared to it's *previous* value).

Yeah, the diminishing returns (this happens on all reduction of durations/times/vaules, which includes Mez Resistance [vs. Protection] and Endurance Reduction) in the game works like this:

a +100% recharge reduction (total) would basically divide the base recharge by half (1+1.00), +200% would divide it to a 1/3 (1+2.0) etc.
