Forumw - Background picture
I want to get rid of that picture too, hope someone can help us
Zombie Man's Villain & Hero Skins (vBulletin)
I use this, and it works great. If you know a little bit about programming, you can sift through the code and customize some of the changes as well.
Yes, I know that's for Firefox, but I believe he linked to a couple IE tools at the bottom of his main post as well. It might be worth checking out.
Good Luck!
Only for Firefox AFAIK
I've already forgotten about most of you

I adblock images all the time. Usually when a forum member, not here, has a tasteless or just something I don't like [Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter comes to mind].
I don't know IE, but if there is something where you could block it. Not the prettiest, but it would remove it.
I have never thought about it. And now that I do, I have no strong feeling for or against it.
Is there something in User CP?
Nothing in the CP about it. I don't know the name of the image to block; when the new forums first showed up I did look, but couldn't find it. I imagine it's buried in the style sheet somewhere? But even if I had the name/location, I don't know if it would work since it's in a style sheet?

Orc&Pie No.53230 There is an orc, and somehow, he got a pie. And you are hungry.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
Will try that once I find a decent plug in for IE. Thanks.
Damned if I didn't see the stupid picture entry

I have a fix for you.
You first need to go download IE7Pro and install it. Its free.
Once you have that downloaded and installed you'll want to click on this link to a custom user script I created to address the issue. It will make the background for the site and the main homepage grey for you.
Its set to work for cityofheroes.com not for cityofvillains.com. I guess I could add that if there is a big demand for it.
Lemmie know if you get any weirdness.
As a note, as I get more time I'll play with this for a more concrete answer. This is just a quick and dirty CSS fix at the moment.
IE7 Pro seems to do the trick for what I want, thanks. I use Avant at home, and now this work computer behaves more like that.

Glad to help.

I do Web Dev so I have no know the tricks for all browsers, including IE.

Using IE7 (can't use anything else here), and I despise the background picture for the forums (Statesmen and Lord Reclue in a city-scape). I'd like to bypass it/keep it from loading if at all possible.
Not sure what can be done and would like to limit having to install a program to do it. Not sure of any plug ins for IE that would actually work. Didn't find any settings in IE or registry for it.
Ideas? and thanks.
