Quote:Yeah, the IO isn't flagged for "Do not notice"In a similar vein, I know for a fact that using Fire Control's Smoke power with the Deflated Ego: Chance for Recovery Debuff proc will cause it to pull aggro...
(Thank goodness that was a cheap enhancement. I was more or less broke at the time I tried using it.) -
Quote:What I was going for was : Chances are the proc will wake the targets, then, if the sleep Io sets lack a damage proc. They don't, but the hold procs do, and Blind takes hold sets as well.
Pretty much every other mez seems to have one, IIRC, and the main reason I would see for not having one is if testing had the proc waking the slept targets. -
Quote:Stargeek asking a question? Wow.A friend is contemplating putting a damage proc in his blind power, but is wondering if the proc will affect critters hit by the aoe sleep part, and if so, will it break the sleep? Anyone know?

Anyway - my guess would be it would not affect the sleep targets - but I'm not totally sure. As for the wakeup - do any of the sleep procs deal damage? I'm at work so reasearch is difficult. I'd think not as the damage is delt at the same time -
I've been here since launch, pretty much. I'll believe that problem is fixed AND GONE FOR GOOD(!)... probably never :P

Quote:1) This would fit better in the Tech Issues and Bugs forum.Im running an Nvidia 6800M GT and when I load up City of Heroes, and go a server that I have a character on, the graphics show up all whack, it just looks all green and fuzzy and glitchy, this has only recently begun to happen, about 3 days ago actually.
I have tried downloading the latest drivers for my card, bu when I did the game would freeze up and not load at all. So I had to stick with my old drivers since they were the last ones that would run the game stable.
2)... What series drivers are you running, then>? -

Quote:In your menu, Options -> Video/Graphics tab.Hey, my game recently started being displayed as a window, with the little red [x] in the upper right hand corner and the blasted windows desktop task bar along the bottom of the screen.
How do I get the game to be displayed full screen again and not be treated as a window?
If that doesn't work, on your game SHORTCUT to the UPDATER, make sure you don't have " -Fullscreen 0" or something like that in the Target line. -
Quote:Of course, the fun part is the other problem, known to pop up every now and then on the Manticore Task Force - instead of Paragon Protectors, you get Paragon Protector Elites... which spawn at a minimum of 40.Standard spawning bug for pretty much all missions with them in that level range. Happens in Citadel, Hess, and Moonfire TFs, Scanner missions, Paper missions, Tip missions, Contact missions, whatever.
Manti is 30-35 TF

Quote:Power Siphon, like the Swap Ammo powers, changes YOUR powers, and does not affect the enemy at all, is another way to put it.*sigh* What Arbegla said. i really, really have to work on explaining things more clearly. Considering how often i end up writing installation/assembly instructions for sculptures when we ship them out you'd think i would do better at this.
Power Siphon is not an aura. It's more like a unique version of Build Up. -
Quote:Not only that - defenders get the buffs before Corruptors - somewhat significantly before later in the game. One of each is probably best.
Corruptors still beat Defenders damage-wise, though; the Defiant buff brings a solo Defender's damage to about par with a Corruptor's before Scourge; with Scourge factored in, Corruptors will do more damage (and Corruptors have access to Fire Blast, which Defenders do not). In a duo, Defiant supplies less damage bonus, so the balance goes even more towards Corruptors there.
Depending on which sets you mix, Corruptor numbers might be "good enough", but Defenders still get noticably more out of their buffs and debuffs. A Rad/ and a Kin/ Defender pair, for instance, would probably come out on top of a /Rad and /Kin Corruptor pair, simply because of the stronger buffs and debuffs from the Defenders, even though the Corruptors have Scourge and slightly higher damage. -
That, and max recharge to your Mez protection power as, IIRC< it's one of your best sources of Def Debuff Resistance.

When SuperMartin was around, he had a gmail address for us to email those to, but I doubt it's the proper method anymore.

This does mean, however, it's best to try to finish off any story arcs before switching to minimize mission issues.

Quote:You Tube "Guide to one-handed clapping" video. Is it the whiffing sounds that makes mono-handular clapping different than unpartnered hi-fives??
I remember seeing something about it on Discovery Channel once but I was kind of tired...
Is it any wonder Google bought them out? -

Quote:Just jumped on the Test server after a long absence.
I noticed that I couldn't redeem the two slots I have (I tried and nothing happened). And when I deleted slots, they reverted to "Unavailable."
Any ideas what's going on?
And can I purchase slots on the test server with out being charged, like used to be?
Thanks, it's kinda hard to test Praetoria since all my toons are already elsewhere, and I'd prefer to not have to delete most of them since the copy tool is still down. You shouldn't have to delete, unless there is something new that I didn't get hit with.Quote:The answer to your problem is:
During the time you've been gone from Test, they've mucked with the database a few times. This is the result. You'll have to delete characters until you have 11 or less. All unlocked slots will be relocked. Once you have 11 or less characters, you'll be able to redeem slots normally.
It sucks, but at least it's Test, and not Live.
WHen you try to redeem your slots, are they used up, but don't open up any new character slots? If so, you just need to keep redeeming until you account for all used slots over 12.
Training Room store is never hooked up to the actual store, so it can never charge you. -
Question : Is the normal rule of being 20+ supposed to apply to the holloween tip missions?

Quote:Eh, when they fix it live they tend to announce some indication - even if just "fixed some bad geometry in Warburg".Besides not talking about exploits in the forum the Devs, as a matter of policy, will never "advertise" any exploit fixes in the patch notes. Basically what this means is that if there's an exploit the Devs are aware of they WON'T ever tell us when or if they fixed it.

We know some of the Incarnate related stuff involves level shifting - having our or our enemies combat levels adjust up or down.

This is better served by the "Tech Issues & Bugs" forum in the Development section (located above this forum) - make sure to check the common issues thread.
