Quote:***Spoiler***Jim Temblor's story is explained here: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Faultline_%28Ally%29
He's the son of the Arch-Villain.
Also, to the OP, just wait til you get the mission to go into the dam tunnels. There's ways to get to the underground on both sides of the dam, so the waypoint shows up as just underground. It's usually easier to find if you go through the dam though. That dam mission has upset its fair share of players.
edit: I shouldn't have spent so much time making a dam joke.
I prefer the term "Arch-Victim" when referring to the former Faultline. -

Quote:Cool little thing about bloody bay.Thank you. I appreciate the help. I saw a helicopter and accidentally arrived in some blood place.
You can get you very own oversize glowing green alien!
When you zone in there will be a nearby "Scientist" contact who will give you a sample collector.
You go to the different meteor fragments in the zone (note after being sample they are untargetable for a few moments; if you arrive at one and can't target it be aware! PvP rewards in BB include meteor fragments). After collecting all of them, you head to a fire base (protected by turrets, note all turrets in a fire base respawn at the same time, and do not regen naturally. Most will destroy one turret then damage the others to almost no health, after the respawn of the dead one, destroy them all) were inside the comp makes a sample out of the fragments. Return to scientist for your GGG pet. -
Quote:I don't think the names of NPC's are off limits, but if it were a copyright/trademark violation, then whoever got it on Guardian had it before it was placed on the "Unavailable" list. They just haven't shown up on that character enough for someone to notice and report it.
The GM's don't hunt and destroy, they will look into player /petitions, but they don't hang around in-game just to happen across a character that violates the rules.Quote:I'm pretty sure at least some of them are. There was a story a while back how someone with the name Frostfire got generic'ed. He appealed the decision and got his name back due to the fact that he had the name FIRST (before the NPC was introduced to the game).
All prominent and most minor "big" npcs (Statesman as an example of the former, 1K Kelvin as an example of the later) are on the "banned" list to prevent impersonation, etc. -
I seem to have the line "make sure your chosen PTT button has no assigned function in City" floating in my head but that's it.
I also frequently use Vent while in game (Windowed if it matters, XP SP3) -
Unavailable isn't just the naughty names - they can also be names such as "Citadel" - in use by an NPC

1) It's either control or alt + Left click on the power. It will be highlighted with a green circle - if it's ready, and no other power is queued, it will go off automatically then. Note you can only do this to non-interruptible click powers and only to one of them.

Quote:As Master-Blade (and I) said:I could, but I don't like to constantly have to edit my shortcut to add the lines when I dual client, then remove them when I'm done, and repeat the next time. Nor do I want multiple shortcuts cluttering up my desktop. It's cluttered enough already, thankyouverymuch.
I don't do it very often, and when I do, it's just easier for me to do it that way.

Quote:Schis had it right - the proc grants you 10% OF your max end. Not "to" as you read his line. No, the Performance shifter grants you 10% end as recovery, not to the Max. I think the only things that increase your Max are acolades.
And the Performance Shifter proc does not grant recovery. That's why it's so great. It grants endurance, just like a blue inspiration. So -Recovery can't affect it. Don't let let the people describing it as end/sec here fool you. -
Quote:That's not a spoiler!I was trying not to spoil the arc for someone who apparently hadn't seen it yet.
Quote:The Overbrook Dam was an amazing step forward for Paragon City, and it began a new area of prosperity. When the Arch-villain Faultline held Overbrook ransom with his earthquake device, not many took him seriously. A group of fledgling superheroes did attempt to stop him but failed, and the master of tectonics set off his device, wiping out Overbrook. Faultline disappeared and has not been seen since. The ruins of Overbrook adopted his name, and many villains began to inhabit the area. -
At the very least the Purple Patch would apply, at worst, also the AV resistance table.
Can't find any specific listing of what their debuff resistance is.
Some mention using Monster or AV resistance, but I'm not sure if that's just for Damage and/or Mez -

Although, having 2 buildup procs from decimation would be a trick.
All buildup procs are marked Unique. -
Glowies and enemies are supposed to show on the map after most (90%?) of the enemies are gone. If you clear most/all the enemies on a map and no objectives show up (either as red arrows or splats) /bug it.
Anyway - glad you're enjoying the game -
It didn't "just" pick up that nickname. It's the pseudonym of the "super" who destroyed Overbrook/caused the earthquake.

Quote:I /bug it every couple of months.Ok a burning irritation of mine is that when you have a waypoint selected on the map...ie the trainer or wentworth's/black market... and your teammates enter a mission, the way point goes away and have to reset the way point... its not game breaking and maybe a minor annoyance to some...but seriously is this ever going to be fixed?
-
And looking at the "Historical" section of the Electric melee page, it mentions said bug was fixed in i16

Quote:Couldn't you just save yourself the macro work and add that to the shortcut, flagging the target line?Yup. As you found, it works just fine as a macro. My main has FPS, that executes /maxinactivefps 5 and SID, which executes /stopinactivedisplay 1 for use when I dual client.
(And yes, it's dual client, because you have two instances of the client running on the same computer. Dual boxing is using 2 computers to play the game. /nitpick)
-
There is no harm in adding the inactive fps limit to the shortcut. If you play normally it will never come into play but if you dimension doing something else you dont have to remember to set the maxinactivefps limit.

not everyone can afford a balloon payment of $60/$120+, especially in december.

Quote:If something happens and it fails to go through for no reason you can determine, contact support when it happens. Or Avatea. You know, despite being set up to auto-renew, one of my accounts failed to do so last month. I have no idea why, since it was on the same credit card as my main account and the billing fell in a different month so it couldn't have hit any cap.
I will be really cheesed if I fail to get these goodies because NCSoft borks my billing.
Give him a break. Probably suffers from Mad Cannibal Disease or something with that name
Yes. Otherwise, they'd be insulting all their month-to-month subscribers. -
