FPS Macro?
answer: Yes it does. Disregard, but incase anyone else was wondering the same thing. It does, indeed, work"
There is no harm in adding the inactive fps limit to the shortcut. If you play normally it will never come into play but if you dimension doing something else you dont have to remember to set the maxinactivefps limit.

Aye....true story and point made
Yup. As you found, it works just fine as a macro. My main has FPS, that executes /maxinactivefps 5 and SID, which executes /stopinactivedisplay 1 for use when I dual client.
(And yes, it's dual client, because you have two instances of the client running on the same computer. Dual boxing is using 2 computers to play the game. /nitpick )

I guess I was late to the party. You already answered your own question and Rajani Isa added the only other thing I would have said. lol
Adding them to the tagline will not affect single-instance playing, and saves you the trouble of having to manually run them on every instance each time you multi-client.
Couldn't you just save yourself the macro work and add that to the shortcut, flagging the target line?

I don't do it very often, and when I do, it's just easier for me to do it that way.

I could, but I don't like to constantly have to edit my shortcut to add the lines when I dual client, then remove them when I'm done, and repeat the next time. Nor do I want multiple shortcuts cluttering up my desktop. It's cluttered enough already, thankyouverymuch.

Yes, I know I can /maxinactivefps ##
but if I /macro IFPS "maxinactivefps ##" will it automatically set it? I ask cause while my comp can easilly dual and even triple box, I would like to let it sit there sometimes while playing another game completely and would rather not worry about it being bogged down.
I just don't want to add the tag line so that it ALWAYS goes into maxfps and maxinactivefps if I'm actually planning on playing CoH normally.
