  3. Ok, like I said, it would be changed to knockdown, but through enhancements it can be changed to knockback. That way its not cramping anyones style.

  6. I think a sonic/kin corr would be a much better choice for a partner than anything else...maybe sonic/sonic?

    level 16 emp/dark defender with only dark blast, all their empathy stuff, AND the medicine pool, named healbot457453257.

    Would that NOT be considered a "healer?"

    There are "healers" in the game. Thats their play choice.

    I think of them in the same way as petless mm's.
  8. Never have I ran into a healer hater. I run into healer fans all the time though. The guys that cant start a mission until they have a healer. The person who immediatly demands a healer after a team wipe/couple people go down.

    My problem with your research is that it does not fit well into the CoH world. If you are a defense based toon without soft capped defense, would you not rather have a defense buffer than a healer? Show me mitigation numbers for a 35% defense toon who just got buffed to 45% defense. Then put them up next to that same toon, who didnt recieve the extra 10 defense but instead opted for the healer... Gonna be one tired healer.

    There is no absolute better form of mitigation/recovery/whatever. Its all highly dependant on the team, situation, and player skill.


    EDIT: plus healing is very hands on, taking away from the time that player could be useing to hurt the enemy.

    PvE fort

    Im liking the build you put together. So far I adjusted it in one place to lose 5% rech but gain 10 regen. As for the purple set, Itll be sorta hard to get, but it shouldnt be too hard. I had those lotg's set aside for this toon. so I of course used them in the build planner.

    Hardest thing to get in that build is the oblit's. Much harder to get that some lotg's (it seems.)

    One thing I didnt get about your build though, it doesnt have soft capped ranged defense...

  15. K I am sorry if Im stated already said ideas but I cannot bring myself to read twenty pages...

    I have long thought Villains should get Perez Park. I remember back when there was no hollows, perez was the spot. Then the hollows came and perez died! Well it could be easily resurected as a new villain area! Maybe a couple strike forces, some cool contacts, etc. and perez park will be alive again! PP was always very mysterious with its wild diversity from gang warfare on the streets, cultist CoT (and I think the lost) in the woods, and then the wild hydras in the lake. It is just full of story capabilities!
