  1. Warpcore Breach will be transferred soon. Send me an e-mail in game if anyone's interested. I always thought it would be more fitting for a Blaster anyway
  2. I can only agree with what I've seen others say.

    Fare well.

I hope Tabula Rasa appreciates ya.
  3. What ever happened to cooperative teams putting the beat down on the bad guys?

Person to person attacks just bring out the childishness in most people.
  4. It is kinda hard to argue with someone who's position basically consists of "I don't wanna work for my base! I want it to be easier. It takes too long."
  5. Actually, most of what I read on here depresses me and tempts me to quit altogether. Luckily, then I get home and play the game for a while to relax and am quickly reminded of why I enjoy CoH. Sometime later I will check my Prestige and realize that I've earned another 5,000 or so and go "W00T!" I will someday have a cool PvE base and be as cool as a Klondike bar. Hopefully by then My SG will have 40 or more members who are earning Influence like crazy and getting all those sweet teleporters and Trees of Life set up.
  6. Thats just too much free Prestige floating around. Surely we can all see that. There's no way that in less than one year any SG should be able to MAX OUT their base. Barring of course some extremely dedicated Groups. I'm sure there will be at least one. There always is...
  7. If a casual SG could get a Raiding Base built in a month don't you think a large SG would have everything they could possible have in about 3 months. That wouldn't be acceptable either. If you want a decent way to build a Base quickly take your SG and hunt Hot Spots in Siren's Call. One member of my SG did that for several days in a row and still has more Prestige than anyone else in the SG, including me

    Which is about 70K, btw
  8. Task Forces and Trials are also touted as available to everyone. Ever tried to recruit for The Cavern of Transcendence? Not much fun unless you have a very dedicated group. I'd have to say that must be one of the rarest badges still in circulation. Many aspects of this and any MMORPG require many people to participate in. If it were readily and easily available to casual players then why be more dedicated? Different people have different levels of participation.
  9. Why in the world would a small casual SG WANT a raidable base?! The would get regularly destroyed by larger, hardcore, dedicated SGs raiding them anyway. True, it will be very difficult as it should be. Heck, I wouldn't want Earthguard or H.E.R.O. raiding MY base and we do have six characters over level 40.
  10. On the bright side you can buy room and equipment to your heart's content and sell it all back over and over without it costing ya a thing. That way one "could" set up a prety base with a big ole room for RP purposes and then set another one up for worktables and all for breaking down your salvage. From what I understand you would want to wait before crafting anything as it seems from what I hear that items crafted from salvage will be lost if deleted.

So with that exception in mind: Experiment away!
  11. I would consider a functional base to be one with A working Worktable or a running teleporter or an infirmary. True it may not do everything you'd want it to do but it will DO something. Those of with reasonable expectations have already built their basic bases. One would think that this fact would have silenced the outcries of "Make it cheaper!" and "I'll NEVER be able to afford a base"

Apparently facts and dedication really don't mean much.
  12. Ouch, I think I ruptured my Gnaester..
  13. I really didnt have much problem with the sounds of the sets. My only problem is with the buffs in general. I mean to say do we Really need another bubbler? I have tried to play a bubbler but I found it to be a very boring set. I mean after you toss out all the bubbles you just chill. Not very proactive=boring. All IMHO
  14. Warpcore has recently scraped up enough influence to get a nice hi rise apartment in Founders Falls with a nice view of the cliffs. Who knew he would be more successful as a Hero than as a cab driver? I always thought the rent in that neighborhood would be astronomical but I guess they do take the CoT neighbors into consideration. Plus, on the way out every morning I can put a little beat down on those Demons. Gotta keep their numbers culled.
  15. I'm a 33 year old single male geek with too many RPG books and CoH is my 2nd MMORPG, EQ was the 1st. This game rules! My only dilemma is finding an AT to really try to get to level 50 with. Oh yeah, I do Neurological testing in a Dr.'s office when I'm not fighting crime.
