where would your hero live?

hi, i wanted to make this post to see where you would think of your hero living, where you hero would go after a hard day/night of crime fighting to relax, get some sleep, make dinner, have fellow heros over, whatever.....basically if you could, where you your hero call home in Paragon City?

for myself, i think i like Talos island. my hero, being of magical origin, found this great spot, one of those older brickstone lowrise buildings that im sure have lots of character inside right next to the tabitha magic shop.
Its close to the mighty mart, theatre, music shop, the beach, not a far trip to the train.
or to the north if you like highrise living, or condo living is the helios towers. im sure those would be nice living as well, right on a corner block, with a great view of the water and docks.

i thouhgt about founders falls, but there doesnt seem to be very many amenities, shops around. and i hate circle of thorns, nothing like having to wory about getting caught up in some sacrificial ritual going out for milk. or having some rikti gate in, or a drone sniper you.

i even thought of peregrine island, but being so close to those dimensional portals, having terrorists and crazy harlequins running around. i think Talos would be the place to be.

There even were some nice areas in Steel Canyon, not in the center part, but on the edges, near the lakes and parks.

i wouldnt even consider skyway city, too much concrete and who would want to live under a major highway? and not kings row, to dirty and industrial. perez park has some nice areas, but too many gangs running around, and who wants to live near a park with the kinda crazy things going on in there? independence port and brickstown look too rough for me as well. ok, just my thoughts

Anyone else have any ideas or know of any good spots?
Where would you want your hero to call home?

Mine definetly would live in Firebase Zulu, on one of the floating islands by the blood rivers and waterfalls.

i never even thought about firebase zulu....
those blue jumping springs would be better than having a trampoline in your backyard
but you wouldnt be able to order pizza there. or any kinda take out food and i bet your friends might complain everytime you invite them over....oh come on, you dont have tp?

probably wouldnt get internet or phone out there......but maybe thats not your style.....would you hunt for food? grow your own food? you would have to build your own house/or whatever, what kind would you build?....im sure the property rates are cheap

Wow love the question.
Probably somewhere like Dark Astoria, i like the quiet, dark, satanic feeling of it. Just the eerieness gives you the fun in there, and the cemetary and Monster have to give yo ua few chills.

I love the quiet places, zombie neighbors. I would probably have a few of them over, for like lunch, but, lol they would have to leave, they would beat me in football =/.

Well, how about just taking over the military base...no one ever goes to FBZ but me on my server

I'm sure General Hammond wouldn't mind having me as a guest...too much

dark astoria.....well, you got a point there it would be very quiet....deathly quiet....and youd never have to worry about the weather....its foggy every day....
i have feeling though those shamans wouldnt make great neighbours....hey, got any spare bones i can borrow?? how about any chickens or babies i can sacrifice??

so you would take over the military base in firebase zulu....im not sure id want to live in a military base, military food, beds wont be comfortable....but they got a great medical facility there....youd never have to worry....and i guess taking the troops out hunting would be fun....

I always considered Founders Falls, but the insane people sniping from roofs is a bit much. So I think Lilac would live in Talos or Steel Canyon. Just your basic everyday city, Talos has more beaches...so most likely Talos. :P

My current main (Scrapper) would live in KR or Bricks. Plenty of room for a biker to ride around in.
My previous main: (Energy blaster, Flier) Founder's Falls. The majesty of Wiliams Square appeals to his ego.
My next blaster (Ice, superjump) would live in Steel Canyon. It's more cheerful-looking than Skyway and has quick access to Atlas Park, another populated, clean-looking zone.

My main would live in Eden. Its the most wilderness you can find in Paragon City. It would appeal to him.

My alt scrapper is a ghost in a suit of armor. When he isnt fighting he would probably just stand still. No home needed.

Hermod has managed to just pay enough money in just enough time to keep his apperment in Skyway in the Land of the Lost. He rarely has time to use it except when he's badly hurt as he spends most of his time keeping Ziu alive.

The Warders (a supergroup consisting of Yowie (and austrlian ape man) Ska (a robot reprogramed to play music) Alien Arciveist (an alien who is currently recording the Warders' story) Heat-Storm (a man who can't sweat and serves more or less as the leader of the group) with the exception of Gandarmerie (who is a semi-offical member) live in Heat-Storms appertment back in California. But in Paragon they live where they can till the can find a place will t put up with them. They frequent the Steel Canyon benchs.

I would live in Steel Canyon. With connections to both the green and yellow lines making it quicker to get to whatever zone i need to be in

Talos, it would have to be Talos island. In a boat of coarse.

I have thought of this question, and having several heroes leads to having several answers....

Walt Jabsco lives just behind the train station in Kings Row... with a bar and shooting range, and the Paragon PD just a short walk from home, it's a fairly good spot to get anywhere in the city.

Bernie Rhodes, Owner of Paragon Copy {(search for post if you want to know,)} in Independence Port, has plenty of room in the building and spends his down time there. Usually, he's trying to design rooms where his friends can come over and have a pint, maybe shoot some pool, and not worry about having to get home. He also has a place in Talos in a highrise, to get away from the industrial nature of IP. Besides, the ladies prefer Talos to the Port...

I have 2 variations of Walt, a peacebringer and a warshade... each with their own intentions and agendas...

Rudie Walt, this dimensions warshade, while liking Kings Row is really not into the drabness of it. Steel Canyon is much more vibrant and he can stretch out better in here.

Walt of Destiny, rescued from another dimension thanks to portal corp, prefers highly developed areas. Founders Falls is wonderous, but having to make do with city provided housing, spends his time in Atlas Park. This is where he became a peacebringer. (Sunstorm is in Atlas too... concidence maybe?)

Tim Blake, AKA Haywire, lives in an average apartment in Galaxy City, close to the industrial district, where he can keep an eye on the Clockwork.

Joey "Knuckles" Vespucci lives in a penthouse apartment near Freedom Corps HQ in Galaxy City. The apartment is paid for by "care packages" sent by his "family" from his hometown of Boston. (he may be ex-mafia, but I like to establish the fact that he has NO connection with the Paragon City version)

Dirk Jones, AKA The Detective, lives in his office in King's Row. The muted colors often make his office look sepiatoned, and it isn't far from where the Lost congregate.

Dr. Nicolas Johnson, AKA The Contaminant, lives in a small apartment, sized for a scientist. It has become cluttered with various files relating to the shady dealings of Crey Industries in recent months. His apartment is in Atlas Park, not far from city hall.

Pierce Chadswell, AKA Briar, lives in a pocket dimension that he may enter anywhere. It is filled with spellbooks, mystical relics, and household neccessities.

Yea i like talos as a dwellingaswell. Tho i am a mutant, i find the "watch spots", where i can watch over the citizens quite gothic and nightimeish. Beeing a fan of "dark, nocturnal heroes, this is a perfect spot for me. ( i found a nice set of gargoyles where i can stand sit, mediatet etc.)

Ha, this is interesting; prior to seeing this topic, I had declared a home for my character.

Perez Park was my hands down choice, having reminded me much of Central Park (favorite place in the city : D). That little shack down by the water (there may be more than one, I'm not sure). Though to be honest I haven't seen all of the zones yet and perhaps only even half of them thus far.

I've already begun packing for a relocation to Founders Falls within a few levels. Though in the end, from what I've heard, I imagine I will finally come to rest in Eden. I have a thing for forrests. : ) Not that sort of thing. : P ...maybe a little.

Just as long as you stay on your half Vennence, I will stay on mine.

: ( Fine. But only if on every 3rd Sunday of the month, we come together for tea time. : )

Very well. It shall be done. By the way, I recomend that when you do go into Eden, make sure the CoH music is on, it has some good, unique music, especially near the hive.

Since malfius was originally summoned from hell by the cot and they messed it up, hence why he is a emp/rad def not a fire/fire blaster, he has been trying to get back home so he has a nice little cave in the hollows were he takes some of those cot's he "arrested" and makes them figure out a way to send him back. not sure if anyone would like to come over for tea never thought of having people over.

Warpcore has recently scraped up enough influence to get a nice hi rise apartment in Founders Falls with a nice view of the cliffs. Who knew he would be more successful as a Hero than as a cab driver? I always thought the rent in that neighborhood would be astronomical but I guess they do take the CoT neighbors into consideration. Plus, on the way out every morning I can put a little beat down on those Demons. Gotta keep their numbers culled.

I forgot to mention that the fishing in the blood rivers of FBZ is amazing...

Just recently, I had to fight for my very survival with a 470 pounds trout with sharp teeths and regen powers from hell.

If you are looking for a fishing spot, send me a tell

and just how many eyes did that trout have hmmm?? ill definetly enjoy the fishing, but i think ill have to pass on the BBQ after, im not sure i would want to see the results of eating the...umm...catch of FBZ rivers.....

i think the only way i could live in perez park would be if if i could clear out one of those circle of thorns underground cities/temples. apart from having to go across rope bridges to go the bathroom, and figuring out which portal takes you to the kitchen, i like the decor and feel of those places. though i guess the gas bill must be high with all those torches going.

eden could be a nice place. but im not sure i like the....wildlife.....wandering mushroom men, boulders, and those killer bees would ruin any picnic. but now that hamidon raids arnt in style anymore, you at least wont have to deal with the constant of traffic of lvl 50's going back and forth through eden all the time...probably much more peaceful now...
