  1. With the one or two insect related powers in the leaked Beast Mastery set, I started thinking that it might be nice to see a spinoff in that general direction. (Yeah, because there's a concept I could easily fill with such powers, as I'm sure others might as well.)

I'm not much for figuring out technical aspects of things, and I'm posting from a 3DS, so not much in the way of details.

    - Swarm Armor (for melee archetypes, protection against Toxic and Psychic)
    - Swarm Blast (for ranged archetypes, could be a good candidate for the stacking Toxic damage mechanic used in Spines and Thorn Assault)
    - Insect Control (for controllers / dominators, minor Toxic damage component)
    - Swarm Assault (dominator, draws from the earlier Armor and Blast sets)

EDIT: In addition to this, the sets might be able to run off a mechanic that can give stacking boosts depending on either (a) attacks used, like in Fire, (b) the number of members in the team, as in the defender inherent, or (c) both. (I do have a working term for it, but it's a name I've used in the past for a toon and I know that it's in use now by someone else.)

Probably mentioned before and so on. Have at it!
  2. Nakkers: I'd be happy with A and C, but minor amounts of B would be alright to an extent. Then again, I'm one of those horrible people who has a difficult time figuring the difference between the ages. Just anything that looks like classic age, without overplaying what the modern age envisions it as (in the current spate of superhero movies), would probably make me happy, considering I'm leaning more and more to what I understand of the Golden/Silver Age to create my concepts.

A lot of the things I'd say were addressed by people already, like fixing the white color on the face and tops-with-skin, (fixing the ability to color the ears on Standard heads so they can match mask patterns), giving hats a no-hair option, more patterns and chest details, more period jackets and pants, decal belts and headbands, tactical harnesses/quivers/permanent-jetpacks/(extra pairs of arms?), etc.

One thing I'd personally like to see are no-cape versions of the high collar pieces (from the former Magic super booster and the Halloween special pack). I'm not sure what precedent there is of this, but one of my characters is making do with a high collar with the short fringe cape for now, which does look good as it is--

Another thing, which might not be here nor there: I'd like to see the "Robotic Arm" category expanded and repurposed. Add things like skin/tights blending into animal fur or lizard scales or rock/crystal (similar to the new Fire/Ice VIP set, yes I'm mentioning it because it's way out of my reach) or becoming invisible (think Rayman?) or whatever. Give us the option to use left arm, right arm, both at once.

Also, specifically for one of my characters, a tire pattern for chest, gloves, legs, and feet. Because Ulterior isn't as good of a replacement. :P
  3. I'm curious about the vanity pet considering it's the only thing that we don't have a name for. (Mini-Statesman? Related to the end of the current Signature Story Arc? Your guesses are as good as mine.)

Otherwise, I'm subbed right through past the target period, so bonus for me!
  4. I'm quite happy to have lost to Auto, since I've always been a fan of that concept since I first saw it. Grats to both winners!

Glad I was able to make it in, since I was actually told to move from D-1 to D-2 for the contest 15 minutes before the start time (despite what I was told in another instance of this thread). Nothing harmed, nothing fouled: I had a great time.
  5. Knock on wood, I haven't had my UI reset automatically since maintenence.

However, I still find it obscenely laggy and v-memory draining in Atlas Park (especially the top instance)
  6. Wow, this fell back to the second page? For a server that thrives on RPers and concepters, it's surprising!

Better remind you all that this is going to be happening today!

    Good luck to all participants!
This is, of course, a better response than mine above. A CC isn't one without people after all. Loads of people.

Come one and come all, I say.

Again, as explained in the post above yours in point 1, they wanted to implement it at launch but it ended up not being done.
  9. Oh, I'm looking forward to this.

Despite my lack of Russians, communist or no, I will be there!
  10. I'll counter partly in his DE's defense that he says he has "several costumes" in his post. I'll even assume the character (like the good majority of others that might attend this contest) is Level 50.

The thing with concepters is that (I'll admit I do this, too) they get stuck on what they create, sometimes. Of course, for the concepter himself/herself, this is a good thing since they're able to enjoy it... but being in an online environment as we are, people are going to form their own opinions about it on their own, even without going to a CC like this one where you're literally asking people to judge you.

Unfortunately, there are people who will always be in the camp of arguing that characters who wear generic and recolored VEAT armor / full costume presets / etc. are significantly less creative than those people who take anything above 15 minutes in the costume creator to put something together, backgrounds be damned.

If someone DCs during the arena match (or on the way in) we've left enough time to set up a second match so that person has a chance to show off his/her powers.
Alright! That's good to know, thank you!

All that's left is to find out if the Copy tool will ever work again. (I do know that you're working on contingency if anything goes south regarding that.)
  12. I'm really looking forward to this, but I'm slightly apprehensive about whether or not my comp will be able to handle/load into a crowded Virtue Pocket D.

How will instances be handled, if any? Will it be the first instance, the lowest available instance, across all instances... etc.? And what about any unfortunate disconnections? It might be helpful to know if I need to stake out hours before the thing starts to ensure I'm anchored to the blooming dance floor.
  13. The paragonwiki.com link isn't working but the wiki.cohtitan.com one is.
  14. Ah, there's me as the Titan!

There were some other great entries in there, too.
  15. Hmm... I hope you have any luck with this, since I don't know the state of red-side well enough other than it is decidedly less active than blue-side.

EDIT: SS, I believe the one you're looking for is "I need an adult," to which I (or anyone else, apparently) can reply that they are.
  16. It's good to hear stories like this every once in a while. Thanks for sharing!

It says Pocket D right inside the OP. (Presumably this means the dance floor area of the zone.)
  18. It takes only a couple of seconds to give someone a helpful answer, regardless of who the person asking the question is and how they want to play the game.
  19. Alright, thanks Ark. I'll look into this, probably closer to the day.

Heh, this is why I decided to make sure that my entry, the Winged Man, was flying.

Well, I don't think I won anything, but I know at least one person who did. I think it might be a blessing that I didn't win the grand prize because I'd need a passport to actually act on it. XD
  21. I would definitely like to participate in this, but I've never been on the test server before. I presume that it isn't the same as the Beta game I have installed...?
  22. As part of my most recent reply from Support about the whole token issue, I got some info about the year-veteran badges/tokens: they said that they aren't rewarding properly at the moment so they're trying to fix it. They also said that time from before the launch counted for the yearly tokens now, so you won't have to go through the entire year again to get them... from my reckoning.

Going by my original calculation, since my renewal was on the day Head Start went live and thus not active as it went up, I would definitely recieve mine around the targeted date, the 28th.

    Provided nothing else extraordinary happens.
