I would guess no. I can play with no lag solo and minor lag on the incarnate trials using my verizon droid incredible via pdanet and It has a download of .86 and an upload of .54

and SSD makes a big differance with load times but thats about it.I love mine I am almost always the first to load into missions

SOrry to say but the fix is a faster computer. Time to upgrade

What in game and global settings do you run coh with ?
and what resolution do you use ?

yep thats the mobo and the drive is a corsair performace 3 satta 3 64gb. Its all up and running I was suprised It did not melt down when I powered it up lol. It is way easy compared to 10 years ago

Ok Im new to sata sorry shows how long its been from my last comp build lol.

I have 8 sata ports 4 6gbs and 4 3gbs

At the moment I have 2 CD drives and one SSD to connect to them. The SSD will hold my OS

Does it matter what sata port I plug them into ? I assumue I want to use the 6gbs ones they are ports 1-2 7-8 so can I plug the ssd into port 1 one cd drive into port 2 and the other cd into 7 ? or does the boot drive have to plug into a "boot sata port" The manual is clear as swamp mud in a hurricane.

I think thats all thats left before I try and boot the sucker

I had a 2500K ordered with the same board from newegg but apparently it was stolen off the UPS truck so I told them to Buzz off <we deal with ups daily at work so they will cover it via insurance along with the 6 other stolen packages> and when I got to fry;s they had the MOBO in stock and the 2600K i7 for about 40 bucks more than the i5 2500K. and a 15 buck rebate to boot lol .
The MOBO was the last one in stock in Austin and its not listed on the the web page so if you got a local frys and want a b3 might go check and see but it was listed in there newspaper flyer so good luck with them having stock.

actualy thats a good question. I purchased a 3 pack of the windows 7 OS way back when it was first avalable, I still have 2 left so can I just use my old winows xp disk and then upgrade to one of my 2 keys I have left right ?

No real reason for the full tower other than thats what I have now and it fits easily under my aquarium in the living room and I have big hands so the extra room is nice when cleaning and stuff.

I duno about you but it may be fun to run tf's. I think there were multitudes of lower level tf's ran by 50's before the incarnate system started.

I was fairly sure it was time to move on but im not a techy person so dont keep up on the latest and greatest. I just buy close to top of the line so I dont have to get a new mobo/cpu every 3-4 years.

So whats the new chip set for intel thats a good bang for the buck ? Or do they change sockets now with each new upgrade so you have to get a new mobo ?

And while I have you here is the gtx295 worth keeping ? From what I read here on the forums seems that COH does not give it much love. I do run ultra mid/high and don't really lag much other than the bad spots in the ITF. Will a faster cpu and gpu clean that up or are some things just going to lag.

I have an intel D975XBX2 with an E6400 Processor 1000w ps gtx295 memory is maxed.

I am just wondering if getting a qx6800 <about 250 bucks> will keep the system chugging along for a while longer or should I just scrap it and start over I have had it from when the x2 just came out how ever long ago that was so im kind of thinking its not worth it to mess with it.

Might want to try formating your drive. Everytime COX updates it fragments the program.If you have not done it in a while.

If its sloted into build up you get a 5% chance of it going off when you hit build up. Not like tactics where its 5% ever 10 sec.

are you sure you are slecting the correct 32 or 64 bit ver of the program.

I am using the 64 bit ver of windows 7 and when I was updating my vid drivers the website would default to the 32 bit ver so I had to manualy pick the 64 bit ver from the dropdown window.

I was wondering how much of a boost I would get if I upgraded my intel e6600 cpu to a qx6700 in CoH ? I know for alot of other things going to the quad core would make a big differance.

Would haveing the quad make dual boxing work smother ?

Or do you think I would see better performance going from 4 gigs of ram to 8 ?
