Hey Liberty dwellers,
I have decided to hang up my cape. I have not played for 4 months, and I honestly have not missed the game all that much. Don't get me wrong, I miss the community. I miss the joking around, the harassing of certain people on LB and other, newer channels that shall not be named, and the teamwork/task completion. I have figured out, though, that all this means very little in RL. My relationship with those around me in RL suffered due to the time CoH ate up (I did enjoy that time though). I am also trying to start a personal business and need to dedicate available resources (time, money, mental focus) toward that task. In the past 4 months, I have gotten much done. I also don't sit bleary-eyed in front of the computer for hours on end when there is so much going on around me in RL.
I will miss those of you on 0.o most. Thanks to Enderbean, Raze(Jom), Biledriver, Psionic Seductress, Krevan, Tenebrous, Lord, New York Chris, Cappy, qp, Wulfie, PW, Tax E, ReTodd, da crusha, Horus, Mr. Bl4ck, danks, vin skully, ink, cold eng, black alexidor, lone hawk, i88i, and probably a dozen others, for making this a highly enjoyable game.
I wish all of you well, and I will miss most of you.

Hello everybody, it seems that Defiant these days is quieter than Dark Astoria during a one minute silence. I know many are probably on the beta, but, I just can't seem to find any trial recruitment at any time of the day almost. If you shout for it in defiant events, it seems dried up no interest, even task force shouts are laborious.
Any idea whats going on, or when the best time of the day is to jump on a trial?

Try different AT,s till you find one you are happy with,they cater for all type,s of player.

I like my villains to be good to look at and play,as far as behavior then its a case of I,m a villain,so I,m going to rob, steal, beat up,kill ,and con as needs must.I have my heroes to be MR Nice Guy.My villain,s will always take the route of villainy to attain their goals.

I know we have the usual downtime on the sever today but it seems everything is down Store and both test servers.I can find no notification for this anywhere,anyone got info on this

I hate getting harassed in game, and so I wish they would create a female only server. They have female only gyms for a reason. An online video game is not a dating site.

most of my 50,s have taken about 230 hours,playing just content and police bands and Tf,s never been a fan of PL.ing.

I was playing on the Defiant server this morning for about 3 hours and had no problems at all,in the past when my wife has been playing at the same time she has had bad lag and rubber banding while I have had nothing.I know this does not help answer your problem but show,s that it happens sometime for no reason,we are on the same system and the computers are within 4 feet of each other.Hope you find an answer to it

Just thought I would post a big thanks to GM Marlin,for his rapid response to my petiton,I was doing the Leonard story arc and the last mission was bugged I sent a petition and was answered and problem solved in under 3 minuets.I know some people have had to wait quite a while when this has happened,so I class myself as being very fortunate this time.Keep up the good work GM,s it is appreciated.

Gratz on your team formation and progress,I have a few plant types myself and would have jumped at joining this team ,but as I live in the UK it would be hard to get the timings right for joining.Keep up the good work.

When I first started playing the Hollows could be a nightmare,no travel powers unlike now with beast run ninja run combine them with sprint and you are fast enough to out run any trouble,my worst run across the Hollow,s before the changes was 6 deaths until I reached the mission door.At least we learnt about aggro range,now as far as Faultline is concerned if you didn,t have fly or super jump you had big problems deep ravines full of CoT god what a place but I preferred both as they were before.I do feel that all the running around was put in to help people get the feel of all aspects of the game,true after 5 years even I sometimes think why do I have to keep going back and forwards for this or that contact ,but it is still handy for the new players who have never play this game.

I have played this game on and off from the beginning. I have ALOT of characters (I'm an altaholic). I was noticing last night of all my characters I have no level 50s!!! All my character stop around level 32. My highest is 42.
Once you hit around 30 how do you guys do it. It just seems like I hit a brick wall and leveling speed starts to slow WAY down.
I have played very little in AE. Most of my time in game is in story arcs or radio missions. Sadly I have to solo alot too. With family obligations I have to get up at a moments notice from the computer and it is just easier to not group. I wouldnt want to hold others back because I have to AFK for 10 mins ;(.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or does anyone have any suggestions. Or since Im solo I just have to suck it up ;D.

I have an Elec/Elec I find this great fun to play on teams also since I picked up my 2 Gremlin mates I can happily solo to my hearts content.I am up to lvl 43 at the moment and have not slotted it fully yet still have some IO,s to sort for it ,gets my vote as a fun dommi to play
