To add some constructive advice to that:

Get Gravatic Emination and Gravity well as soon as possible.

With the other human powers, look at the power and if you have a form based power that does it better then forget the human one. You also need to consider how long you will spend in human and when. If you want to fight in human you need a lot more attacks. If you want to fight in Nova then passive powers like stamina don't croess over (Not sure if you knew that) so they are wasted.

Lets imagine you wanted to fight mostly in Nova it would mean you don't need the shields (Again since they don't work in forms) and you don't need to fitness pool, that gives you lots of slots for other powers, and lots of power picks. Use those power picks for pool powers that don't need slotting. My WS has the medicine pool purely for the rez, and the stealth pool so I can grant invis (And to hold LoTG's).

And lastly keep posting your builds up on here until people can no longer point out obvious flaws. There are so many different builds you will never get total agreement, but the general help you can get (and have had) is very good.

My first observations:

1 - No slots in Dark Nova Bolt? If you are staying in Nova for a lot of the time then this is an attack you will use a lot if you plan on having a proper attack chain, and makes up about 2/5 of your single target DPS unless you want to use too much endurance firing an AoE at a single target.

2 - You have no human attacks slotted up aside from the self heal and the AoE so you won't be spending very long in human form, meaning a lot of your power choices are going to waste.

3 - Dark Nova form is way overslotted, the endurance recovery isn't going to be good enough to warrant the 4 slots dedicated to that, especially once you get Stygian Circle you really will never want for endurance again.

4 - The human shields are wasted since you have no human attacks.

5 - Slot Eclipse for Res/Rech/Acc in that order - don't bother with the endmod - you have Stygian Circle for that.

6 - The fluffies are great - 6 slot Dark Extraction with the most expensive sets/IO's you can afford.

7 - Again due to having no human attacks I cannot see the need for the fitness pool, what need do you have for stamina if you can only attack once every 30 seconds?

8 - Gravatic Emination is one of the best powers if you do plan on using human form - I would say 6 slot it. Same for Grav Well - that is an excellent melee power that can 1 shot a lt and put serious hurt on a boss - as well as holding them.

9 - Sunless Mire can give you a massive damage boost so I would give it some love.

10 - As Carnifax said Dwarf is not only for tanking. Despite having all the Nova attacks 6 slotted (Expensively!) it is the best single target DPS form I have on my toon and also gives you virtual immunity to any kind of mez aside from fear, and can be used even once you are mezzed.

To sum that up I would have a serious look at your build again, there seem to be a lot of slotting errors and I think you might be misunderstanding the use of the forms (Particularly human form) which is probably the underlying cause for that.

Well there is a reason he is only ever an EB, if he got himself a proper alter maybe his gods would grant him a bit more power.

I think perma-hasten is nigh on impossible without lots of purples.

The good thing about illusion is that you can fit in the sleep, ranged damage and hold purple sets and can take an AoE in your epic pool for a 4th purple, and I went tough/weave on my illusion troller which allows an LoTG +7.5 in tough and the purple melee set in boxing or kick for the last of the 10% bonus' from purple sets.

Add a few 5%'s from doctored wounds in your 2ndry and you are almost there.

Be warned however that even perma-hasten won't give you perma-PA - that is even more rediculously recharge intensive somewhere in the 200% range I think (Including hasten)

Edit: Actually I am pretty sure that its around 220-230% for perma-PA, which I would think is impossible on an ill/emp and I can barely reach on my ill/kin.

I typically fill my salvage, enhancements and often recipes too from a single TF on my level 50's so can't say I have noticed the drop rate being lowered.

Doesn't Arctic Air take the purple confuse set? Thats cheap as chips.

I dont get:

1 slot in fire blast? It is an attack you can use while mezzed so will use a lot.

6 slots in hover? Thats 4 too many at least, if not 5 too many.

6 slots in health? is way too many considering the minor benefits health gives on a low HP blaster.

2 slots in stealth? Can't see any reason for anything other than an LoTG +recharge and that only takes 1 slot.

Only 2 slots in Rain of Fire? This is a great attack fully slotted (5+), and wasted otherwise.

No Fire Sword Circle?

It looks like you are planning on staying at range and hiding in stealth? Thats not taking advantage of some of /fire's better powers in the damage aura and fire sword circle.

I really do not understand your logic in this thread.
The company has x amount of subscribers and y income, they need to make z profit or they may as well go get different jobs so that leaves w amount left for development.

Its fairly obvious that w is only enough to improve the core of the game, so by your logic they should cut into their profits to make the game better?

If they end up cutting into their profits there will be no motivation for them to even keep the game open as they could earn more money elsewhere. Thats not ethics it's sense.

If they suddenly got WoW levels of subscribers and then didn't increase the development resources then yes you could have a point.

Actually nowadays apparently he is, or is getting to be. According to This thread he now makes quite a difference (thanks to his willingness now to go into melee and use Seismic Smash I'd guess).

Unfortuantely Earth/Anything is pretty much going to be a team character, even more so than most other controllers.

Earth/TA is a very powerful combination, but without having much in the way of attacks to take advantage of your massive debuffs it will be very slow going.

I think that the line "Once you hit 32 though Pooman should increase your soloing speed a fair amount." shows you how slow you will be because Poo man isn't exactly known for his DPS

Having three other controllers going at the same time could be ok though, as you could solo those and then move to this when you do find a team.

You mean the decoy from the Phantasm? This may explain why I only ever see it last a few seconds.

The trick I do when using mids is rather than start at level 1 and pick powers each level I pick the key powers first and get them slotted, then the good powers and slot them, then the fillers etc.

It is a good way to start a build and although you won't find the best build right away it gives you a good foundation to build on. The key to this (And to Kheldians in general) is knowing which powers to sacrifice and which are must haves.

In this case pick nova, dwarf, mire, eclipse, stygian, grav emination decide what slots you want to stick in them and the form powers (aiming for the +recharge bonus') and once you have these key powers slotted as you want start picking some of the other powers. Eventually you will run out of slots and have 4/5 powers left that can be taken up with things that dont need slotting like travel powers/medicine pool etc.

From there you can play around with moving the level at which powers are picked and might have a few slots floating around that you can play with, but should be pretty sorted.

Yeah I agree with Col_Blitzkreiger, Black Dwarf Mire is an excellent PBAoE attack, just treat the buff as a bonus. I have mine 6 slotted frankenslotting for dam/acc/rech/endrdx (With the armageddon proc), it can become a ~200 damage PBAoE every 5 seconds!

Also the Aegis - Psionic/Status Resistance is a bit useless if you ask me, the Psi res is very small and the status res won't get noticed either.

As for the chance for +recharge I thought of using them but found they almost never went off, I don't think it is stackable and due to some strange way they work actually only works out at giving you the buff 5% of the time and even then not for long. You would be better served with the Posi proc in Dark Nova Emination and a normal recharge IO in Dark Nova Detonation.

The rest looks ok but I haven't got mids at work to check the bonus' out.

For my actual build I didn't slot the Black Dwarf Drain or Antagonise for recharge (And I think I haven't slotted Gravity Well for recharge either) as I already had enough at that point.

But even if you do this it still leaves enough slots to 4-6 slot the other really important powers.

Sorry I forgot this last night as I got distracted, but here are my other tips for +recharge:

Gravimetric Snare -- Purple set for 10% +Recharge. Fairly expensive and I never use the power but still ...
Hasten -- Standard 3 recharge IO's here
Shadow Cloak -- LoTG 7.5% +recharge, anything else is pretty wasted
Gravity Well -- The Basilisk's Gaze set is good because you get 7.5% (I think) +recharge from just 4 slots. Alternatively you could use the purple set for 10%, but would have to drop one of the other 5 purple sets and I find this most efficient (Though not necessarily cost effective)
Gravitic Emanation -- Purple stun set goes nicely here for 10% more lovely +recharge
Combat Jumping -- LoTG 7.5% +recharge
Dark Extraction -- You get 7.5% +recharge from only 4 of the new Expedient Reinforcement set so thats good here
Grant Invisibility -- LoTG 7.5% +recharge
Invisibility -- LoTG 7.5% +recharge

Dark Nova Bolt -- I put the 5 none proc Decimations in here for I think 5%
Dark Nova Blast -- Apocalypse is 10% +recharge for 5 slots
Dark Nova Emanation -- Ragnarok is another 10% +recharge from 5 slots
Dark Nova Detonation -- Positron's Blast gives 6.25% +recharge on the 5th slot too

Black Dwarf Smite -- Hecatomb is another 10% recharge from 5 slots
Black Dwarf Drain -- Doctored Wounds for another 5%
Black Dwarf Antagonize -- Perfect Zinger for I think 6.25%

It doesn't, but it also doesn't clearly say that you do not want to team. People do a lot of things that I can't see the logic behind, trying to figure everything out would drive me mad.

The point is that since writing something 100% clear isn't much more effort than making it even 1% unclear why don't people just be clear?

How does 'not looking for a team' mean I don't want teams looking for me? I am right now not looking for a new job, but if someone called me up and offered me one I would take it, or at least hear them out. There is a vast difference between not actively doing something and wanting to avoid something altogether.

Also 'soloing' as a search comment is far too vague, I accept that soloing could mean you want to stay solo (And is how I would translate it), but it equally could be a description of your current activity. I could write 'eating' in my search comment but it wouldn't mean that I was looking for an eating partner, and it would not mean that I wasn't looking for a team, it would mean that I am currently eating, probably translated as semi-afk. 'Not interested in teaming' makes it pretty clear that you don't want a team.

Just want to add that I am not one for jumping to conclusions and haven't made any other such claims in other threads, I don't have a god-complex, but I find it hard to believe that anyone disagrees with me in this instance.

I am someone who plays the game, looks at the search screen and see's teams forming out of people who aren't sat on the LTF comment. It is blindingly obvious that I am right (Fine the % may be out but the point stands) or I wouldn't claim it (At least on Union).

Also I don't know one single person that updates their search comment every time they log on which would be hard if the majority of people were doing so.

I think in general the default grey search option is translated into "Am not particularly looking for a team but am not avoiding it either" and I think that is quite a fair assumption and it is how I use it, there is no 'ambivalent' option.

When I am putting together a team I will invite those in the LTF bracket first, but since that is rarely more than 2 people (And don't even try suggesting that is a true reflection because it just isn't), then I will move on to those in the default section without something in their comment saying they don't want to do what I am asking them.

I always assume that "Soloing" means they don't want to join a team, but I can understand that it is a bit ambiguous. Otherwise unless your search comment specifically tells me that you do not want a team or get a /tell I think I am perfectly entitled to ask you if you want to join a team, either you make it clear or I will clarify with you.

Being in the default section would mean I leave you alone IF it was used correctly by the majority, but aren't one of the few who uses it properly. If people didn't bother those in the default setting there would never be any teams.

If you don't want a /tell from certain people then update the comment clearly, or put yourself in the 'not accepting' bracket, in which case those bothering you deserve ignoring.

But if you are going to get your knickers in a twist about people asking you a question you really need some social training, do you take offence to someone stopping you in the street asking for the time when you are not wearing your "ask me for the time" sandwich board?

Finally: there is no excuse not to politely reply to a polite tell (That you notice) asking you anything that you haven't already answered in your search comment. Some of you are coming across as a bit anti-social.
