So this thread was moving down the list and we can't have that! Not sure where everyone's been for the last week or so but hope all is well!

Anyway, as promised, I'm including Junior's pencils, my lines and color images for the two toons in Junior's works. Feel free to work on any of it. This includes "fixing" my line work and coloring the piece! Enjoy!

I have to say I still don't have a lowbie toon that I feel like my end is under control at all times. So I don't think about that when making toons. Spines/fire has consume but not until MUCH later (if I remember correctly - it's my son's toon not mine). Really the only way to not have to worry about end is to slot appropriately. Usually until I can get level 30/35 standard IOs I focus on dealing with the end issues with SOs first then acc, then dmg. I find if I am REALLY struggling with end I don't keep the toon long.

But my lvl 50 spines/dark is a lawn mower. I did use the Body Mastery to completely get rid of my end concerns but now with the Cardiac Alpha I am planning on respeccing out of Body Mastery and into Fire Mastery for some fireball goodness. But Energy Torrent works really well with Ripper currently.

I duo quite often with a friend and he has a db/wp brute and I have a fire/sd scrapper. We often, OFTEN, take on AVs with no problems. Of course I also think either of us could solo them. Usually I like to run AOE oriented toons and he tends to like the single taget toons better, which works out great for us. Also I have a spines/dark which is insane in combo with his db/wp. We run most everything at +2(or higher)/x8 and only die when we do something really dumb.
But all in all I think just about anything could be a good duo if you each know how the other plays. My friend is a huge lover of herding so that works for my AOE fetish.

You have to wonder though how many of those "avatars" were chosen by the photographer and producers on the book. I personally have one toon that I tried to make look like me and I don't think it worked too well. Other than that I have a huge mix of characters. I purposely try to use a variety of races, sexes and species. Usually if I make a toon that is too similar to another I've had then it gets deleted pretty quickly. I don't know that I could ever have one toon that I would say is "me" in the internet/gaming world. I know others are different but that's just me.

That being said I still think this was a cool project. I work in the commercial photography field and love new ideas and concepts like this. I may even check out the book...

Voted... Where were you gamer girls at before I got married 15 years ago???? I love my wife tremendously but she is NOT a gamer...

Only thing I'd worry about is if at some point in time the girl actually copyrighting the costume and/or character herself. Then claiming you stole it. It's probably a non-issue but that's about the only one I see as being a problem. Of course that's easily overcome with documentation of your character prior to her use BUT if you're like me, you don't think of that stuff...

Breakin' 3: Magical Boogaloo

Most my toons only use Ninja Run and Hurdle lately and I have no problem jumping up to the guns and am usually the first one there. I believe there is a truck in the courtyard on the north end which you can then use to jump up to the small mid level just below the guns. You need to get up here to take out two groups anyway. Then from there you should be able to jump on the wall just below the guns then up to the guns. Going from gun to gun just make sure to jump onto the wall between them. Easy Peasy. Heck even CJ/Hurdle should be enough for this.

OH plus, in case you didn't notice, Ninja Run will scale a near verticle wall if you just keep the jump button and forward buttons held.

I don't use Print Screen anymore. I use the Win 7 Snip-Tool.

That is WAY too funny! I love how you were able to make a jumpsuit with a cape out of the costume creator!

P.S. you have mail but I forgot to mention Prop is a fire/sd scrapper with the flames I was going for the color of propane burning.

Here is one of my costumes for Nathanial Raven (spines/dark).

Concept is that the Primal Earth Nathan was a magic user that opened a portal to alternate dimensions. Once he stepped into one of the new dimensions his alternate had to take his place here on Primal Earth. Problem is Primal Nathanial has gotten stuck in a loop where he no longer can control what dimension he pops up in. So I have 4 costumes that I rotate through as I play him
1) Primal Nathanial Raven - Magic user (no pics currently)
2) Robo N.A.T.E - Dark powers colors black and grey to look like floating nanites.

3) Sand Dimenion Nathanial (Seen above) Dark powers colored tan to look like sand and does a good job IMHO.SPines powers use the crystal spines because sand compressed or heated becomes glass...
4) Plant Dimension Nathanial Dark powers colored green/yellow to look like pollen plus the leaves aura during battle.

5) Awaiting a good concept.... Probably going with the obvious of an actual Raven now that the animal pack is out, I just don't know how to make the spines work with that. Also, not convinced I'd have any other use to the Animal Pack....

Also, YAY I'm on an art list! I am pretty sure I will want something for Propellant. I will try to get some screenies done ASAP (Wednesday is my only weekday game night now a days). But for inspiration just think a black haired Jessica Beal... mmmmm tasty!
